looks fine. material sturdy enough. take into account that once the sticky surface is exposed and pressed against a surface, if it seems not leveled, it can still be removed and re-positioned but it could pull with it the wall paint.
Nice product that looks good in the vertical position as we have it. The adhesive is super strong too and it’s doing well stuck to rough uneven tiles so far.
Does exactly as it says, holds extremely well just using the sticky pad, in fact i couldnt get it off when i moved so had to buy another one. Brilliant.
It came with a sticky pad which was attached to the toilet roll holder and stuck on a tiled wall. It worked perfectly. So easy my wife fitted while I was out.
I had some doubts as to just sticking the holder to the wall with just a sticky base, but as it only has to support a single toilet roll this proved to be all that was needed.
This is one of those purchases that you never think of doing but once you do you realise just how much ease it brings! Such a great item and makes life so much more convenient! Very sturdy and never had an issue with it since installed.
Brilliant! Light, proven to be strong (read why it’s proven below), well made and nicely finished, and sticks to tiles like poo to a blanket!
I recommend using methylated spirit to decrease to the wall before attaching, but I wouldn’t use this on a painted wall.
Exercise caution though. Once it is on, that’s it. One shot or it will be an absolute nightmare to remove. I had to buy another!
My granddaughter nudged me as I went to stick it to the tiles. I had it prefectly level up to that point, and so it caught the wall at a jaunty, useless angle! There’s no way of removing the bugger without heat and swearing. I badly bent and twisted the backing plate from the amount of force I had to use to remove it. I honestly thought I’d pull the tile off the wall!
I bought a second one to replace the one I ruined. It was a no brainer when it sticks that well and wouldn’t break despite the force I used!
This is a simple toilet roll holder which i wanted to be able to place on the tiles in the bathroom without the use of any drilling. It has so far remained in the place it was put in and has had several toilet rolls slotted onto it so I would like to hope it means the adhesives on the back of it are strong and so on that basis I am happy with the purchase.
Have used simalar to this for coat hooks in the past so thought it would be good .
When your fixing this to the wall here are a couple of tips .
Make sure it totally dry first especially tiles .
Then decide where it going to go before you take the protective layer off the adhesive pad .
Check its exactly where you want it as it will grab the wall and not let go once put it on there. Make the wall with a pencil so you know where your putting it . Then when actually fitting line the edge up with the line before pushing it flat against the wall .
Leave it a while to cure before using it .
Mine went on easy on the tiles bathroom wall much better than those ones with suction cups
Gace it a couple of hours and now got a great toilet roll holder with no drilling etc .
I would recommend this to anyone , especially to those of us that rent and are not allowed to drill holes.
It’s perfect , it dosent fall off , very easy installation, but the only reason I give it 4 it’s because it’s not 100% straight where the toilet paper goes but you can barely notice it , I’m just like proper ocd
