Bought this for my 7 year old grandson who is learning about continents and oceans at school, we bought the larger globe for ease of seeing the countries. He absolutely loves it and has encouraged him to learn more about the world
Nice, compact size, but still big enough to show sufficient detail. Printing very clear so when you need to resort a magnifying lens to see, say Bahrain, then there it is.
Just think the whole world on an 8″ globe, incredible.
Well made rigid shell, with both halves meeting perfectly, that rotates smoothly on mounting. It is all plastic, but very stable on relatively large base.
At the price I would happily buy again.
A good Atlas and this compact globe do the job quite adequately.

Writing is quite small but that’s only a minor thing, you could use a magnifying glass for extra fun

Purchased as Christmas gift for Grandson.
Examined to make sure ok and although not large it is a good size…very sturdy and bright and easy to read.
He will love it.

The globe would be perfect if it was spinning properly. It seems the washer at the bottom is missing which makes the globe sit and restrict from spinning. I am sure my son still can make most of it, it’s useful resource after all.
