Such a good toy although my 9mo is terrified of it right now, I’m sure in time he’ll be fine with it. Easy to set up and comes with a mini screwdriver for the battery compartment which is nice. Batteries are not included. Only downside is that it’s very loud and there’s no option to lower volume.

I bought this toy for my daughter who is 9 months old, to help encourage her to crawl. She has not had the octopus long, but is already showing many signs on the way to her crawling !
The octopus is very soft to touch and has not objects on or around which are hazardous to my little one. The octopus lights up different colours which keeps my daughter engaged ! As stated, the octopus moves around, which had been encouraging my daughter to move to the octopus, therefore helping her to begin crawling. Another favourite feature of mine about the octopus is that it can record whatever you wish ! I believe once my daughter is crawling, she would able to play with the octopus once she’s on her feet walking too ! Due to the changing lights, music, and unpredictability of which way the octopus is going to move, she is continuously in awe and her eyes are glued to the octopus! Above all, my favourite feature of the octopus is the fact it is voice controlled. The octopus will always begin to ‘dance’ upon hearing my daughter babble or upon adults clap.
The material of the octopus is also easy to wipe in the event of it getting dirty. The octopus did not come with batteries so we had to insert 3 AA batteries. The item came with a multi purpose mini screwdriver to open and close the bartering casing. Since, we have also used the handy screwdriver for many other things too !
I adore this toy and would highly recommend !
Absolutely loved this for my baby however after a month of limited use (my baby is 5 month old so can hardly chase it yet) it seems like the motors gone and the octopus hardly moves anymore.
Have tried new batteries however still no luck so pretty disappointed overall.
I would appreciate if the seller can get in touch to discuss replacement for the faulty item? Thanks
This is awesome. I bought it for a 9 month old boy so that he could crawl after it. But his 3 year old brother loved it, too. He was having whole conversations with it using the voice function.
I admit, I was quite excited about it as well. It’s just really cute when it spins! But it’s loud so the adts around it might end up hating it after a few days or so!
