I bought this as gift for my rugby mad mother- she absolutely loves it and won’t go to a rainy windy match without it now!
She says its definitely waterproof, windproof, and keeps her much warmer than just a big coat and a normal blanket.
It also comes with a stuff bag for portability and folds down small enough to stuff into a rucksack.

It got cold at a festival, these helped us get warmer, they are thin but did thier job. There were showers , we kept dry , we haven’t tried them in pouring rain. The hood is very pointy that’s the only down side of this poncho.
They are pretty light weight , I will be taking one when back to hiking as an extra layer and for an emergency blanket .

This is a great item to take to a picnic, festival or while out hiking.
When opened up as a ‘rug’ it’s a good size and very lightweight to carry. It also doubles as a hooded poncho if the weather turns for the worse.

My one criticism is that the hood is very pointed. Comments vary from something about witches, wizzards to “that looks a bit like…..”. Yes, yes it does, they must never make them in white.
