The piece came undamaged, which was a good start.
I needed this to protect my workbench from heat gun damage.
It works as intended and my 600c heat gun is no match for this board, no problems at all.
After our log burner developed a leak, the boards soaked it up and then disintigrated.
When received, was dubious if these would do the job but they were cut to size and 6 months later after daily use, they’re still in place and look totally un-affected whilst insuring insulation from the outer cast iron fire allowing better control of hea
This product does exactly what I wanted it to do in my stove. The only issue I had is that the advert for it showed 4 so I though I was getting 4 at the size given. I only got one. The add is misleading. In hindsight I was wrong but the add is misleading.
Really easy to cut and fix and much better than what it replaced. Arrived quickly and well packaged too. Don’t know how long it’ll last – but even if you need to change it every year, it’s so quick and cheap to do, you can’t really go wrong.
