It’s quite a lightweight toy but sits well and will be lovely for baby to lie against or pick up and play with. The bits and pieces are colourful but not garish. Pleased with my purchase.
Bought as a gift for my friend’s granddaughter. Her mother’s feedback is
that it is a beautiful item that is already used regularly to place four month old on on her front so that she is propped up comfortably and has her hands free. It will also act as a toy and a cushion going forward. Great success!
Everyone recommends tummy time but no one mentions that some little ones absolutely hate it and won’t spent a second on tummy without screaming. This massively helped my daughter spend a few minutes on her tummy, she wouldn’t do long but this at least got her playing with the toys on her tummy, plus she loves the lama and grabbing it whilst seated. Bought when she was 2 months, she is now 5 months and still uses it (rolled at 16 weeks.)
Very soft and well made. Exactly like the pictures. Great for baby tummy time.
Came in a plastic bag inside a brown cardbox. A nicer packaging would make it a nicer gift.
Fisher price have several different designs for tummy time toys. I love the design of the llama.. I mean who doesn’t like llamas? But having used the toy, I wish I had purchased the video game controller design instead. The material attracts a lot of dirt which means you constantly have to wash it. Plus, when lying on the toy, I find that my son always tends to move away from the llama neck and slides off the side with the tail. I therefore constantly have to reposition him.
My daughter, 9 weeks, prefers tummy time with this to anything else we have tried, but when washed (as per the instructions) the neck of the llama flopped /twisted so it gets in the way more than it should, and can prevent her moving freely which is disappointing.
Given as a gift to my new grandson. Helps to develop strength. He seems to like it but he’s only 7 weeks old so hard to tell yet. Its very cute and super soft and he does hold his head up when he’s on it and tries to reach for the toys that are attached. So far so good
I bought this for my Grandaughter for Christmas she is 6 months old. She did not like lieing on her tummy much before we got this, now she loves it. She looks in the little mirror and laughs so much.
It looks cute and is nice quality however it is not very good for tummy time as it doesn’t stand up well and my daughter ends up sliding down it as it wobbles around.
My boy won’t do tummy time without it! He loves the crinkly wrap and it’s a big help with not getting drool everywhere. I bought it for 15 on a black Friday for Christmas but I was so desperate for him to do tummy time because he hates doing it that I gave it to him early. Along with a book he’s been brilliant ever since
This is a cuddly item. Baby Alex (3 months) disliked tummy time sessions until he was laid on the llama. Now, not flat but well supported, he enjoys the time on his different view of his world. It’s a nicely made item with comfort potential in the months to come.
Really disappointed that there isn’t a proper Fisher Price box, on
Line it shows a box with examples of what it does, it’s just in a brown box
On so good for a gif
It’s recommended new borns get some tummy time. The NHS recommends tummy time as a way to build muscles that your baby will eventually need for sitting and crawling.
This Lama by fisher price is a great way for our baby to develop and prepare for sitting and crawling. So far we’ve tried him on it a few times and he appears to love it. The lama is soft and snuggly, and he likes looking In the mirror at himself.
Hopefully over a few weeks it’ll help develop his
muscles. Good price and good quality item as usual from fisher price.
Love this item. I purchased this for my 6 week old son who has such a strong neck and loves being on his tummy. It helps develop different muscles in the body, neck, tummy and legs. I do feel that the price is a bit steep and would have expected it to be musical for the price paid, however, it is a toy that your baby can grow older with. So I feel you will get your monies worth.
Helped me son with tummy time. My son suffered with colic and hated spending time on his tummy. The llama is cute and soft. It comes with a rattle, silicone teether and mirror. The llama does is not musical and it does tip easily to the side.
