I wear this watch everyday and it feels amazing. Tracks my steps , stairs, active minutes and a whole lot else. My only complaint is that the alexa doesn’t seem to ever really work.
This tracker does what it says on the package. Neat and tidy with a good app. Perhaps a bit over priced and the Alexa aspect is not easy to use, but should be okay with practice.
While significantly less information than say on an Apple Watch you have the advantage of good battery life ,4/5 days between charges, and a very clear screen with the key info you need. I also found easy to sleep with as light and light and compact. Did change out strap for leather as I had allergic reaction to band.
I bought this as a gift for fathers day and it turned out to be a good choice! The app is amazing with very accurate step and sleep tracking, grab it when it goes on sale!
I liked the easy to see and read the watch face , seems to display all the things I need without being too complicated .Up to now is displaying all my information for excercising walking heart rate etc . Would recommend .
Bought this after advised of heart issue. Lots of features to help aid and understand fitness, sleep, heart etc. Assume not as accurate as a doctor or hospital reading but certainly provides a good comfort level of understanding
Easy to set up and install. Looks good but choice of colours on straps not the best. It monitors everything I want it too (and more that I personally don’t want to use) and I really love it. Much better than my HR Charge 2 which it has replaced. The cleaning video is terrifying – washing it under running tap but who am I to know that’s possible! Had it for a couple of weeks and haven’t plucked up courage to do that yet. I have Cetaphil arriving from Amazon today, which it says in the video to use, so here’s hoping……
I finally upgraded my cheap old unbranded fitness tracker and chose this fitbit over a similar Huawei model. I was lured by the name and the 50% discount, and thought that being an official fitbit it would be better than my old watch. I was dubious about the large size of the face as I wear it on the inside of my wrist but it is really comfortable and flat, and it’s so easy to read the time clearly.
I am by no means a sporty person but I like to keep track of my activity throughout the day and thought this fitbit would be more than sufficient to do this. However, my main daily activities include horse riding and rowing on my static machine, disappointingly neither of which are listed as exercise choices on the fitbit, yet were on my old watch and rowing was also on the Huawei I considered. I wrongly assumed the fitbit would have at least a rowing option. After checking the fitbit forums this seems to be a common complaint and the only option is logging any alternative activity as a workout. It isn’t a massive problem, as I say I’m no athlete, it just would have been a nice and useful feature.
They claim the battery lasts 4-5 days which seems to be about right, although I would’ve expected it to last longer as the display is usually blank until you click the button.
The button and the swipe screen are really easy to use and the display is very clear for my aging eyesight!
I love that I can control Spotify from this watch, it was one of the reasons I chose it over the Huawei.
I leave my watch off overnight so the sleep tracker is of no use to me. I quite like the heart rate monitor, I’m unsure of how accurate it is but it makes for an interesting hike.
Overall I’m really pleased with this fitbit, I don’t think I would’ve been as pleased if I’d have paid full price but I would recommend it to anyone wanting a general fitness tracker.
Decided to re-purchase a Fitbit after trading in my Alta HR for a Galaxy Active a couple of years ago and I’m so glad I did. I was on the fence about which model to buy – splurge on the Versa 3 or save a little and get the Versa 2. I bought this as I decided I wasn’t bothered about the built in GPS and I wasn’t fond of the haptic button idea that they have introduced to the newer models now . If you’re the same as me, I would save and just stick to the Versa 2.
Pros – sleep feature is amazing and accurate, watch is very responsive to wake movements, Alexa works well when in a good range to your phone and with a WiFi connection (I know some reviewers say they have had issues with this but mine has been completely fine!).
Cons – the ‘active zone minutes’ that fitbit have introduced. Not really sure how these work and they’re a bit on-and-off. There are also a few features that aren’t available as you are required to purchase Fitbit’s ‘premium’ membership, however this doesn’t affect me as I don’t think the information that is held back is that important or insightful, or much more than what you get for free.
I purchased the Bordeaux colour, and I would say that it is more of a purple colour than it displays in the photo but still a lovely colour.
Love this watch and I’m so glad I converted back to Fitbit!
Okay , so I’m not sure why so many negitive reviews however this is why reviews are important I spose !
Really like my watch it was a Christmas present and have been using it since Christmas . Okay some people were annoyed with the premium option , however most companies are doing this now , yea 10 pound is alot however if you pay a early fee it’s only 40 pound for the year ! And to be honest the watch still does loads ! I brought the premium as you get videos for work out and plans to follow on the app which I like and keeps me motivated and extra sleeping information that interests me . However you don’t need the premium to enjoy this watch !
Apps area good however it’s new tech so don’t exspect loads …we need to remember it’s still just a watch ! It can’t do everything our phones can do and shouldn’t be expected to, for the price .
I love my water reminders on my phone it really does help in a busy day.
Email notifications are super as I’m a teacher so this is brilliant and to be honest I love all notifications !
I also find the breathing excellent where it helps you breath with the vibrating of the watch for two minutes , I thought this was brilliant and is great for those days were you only have a few minutes to regain focuse!
You can also pay with the watch , I haven’t tried this yet and really didn’t like the thought of this , just encase somebody stole my watch … However there are a few functions on locking your watch. I have it on a function when I take it off it will lock my watch which is brilliant and will probably use the pay app now.
The battery is good , ofcourse if you use more apps and notifications it will need charging faster however I normally get about 3 days which is good and only needs charging for 2 hours , it says don’t leave it over night as your battery will drain , not bad considering how much I use it ….
Deffaintly get one if you want a smart watch and don’t exspect a phone !
If you want reminders to keep you on track.
If your curious about sleep patterns and breathing and learning about your body .
If you want to have a push on being healthy and get into a routine .
Don’t get it if you want to send textes, emails lots of apps or want a week’s battery , be aware you can get more with a monthly payment , if your not okay with this then don’t get it !
I do hope this helps , however my husband has my old Fitbit , he really wants one like mine now and is shocked how I ever used the old addition haha !
When I was trying to decide what Fitbit to get I found myself torn between the versa 2 and the Versa 3, and I’m sure many others are to, so here’s my breakdown on why I got a Versa 2 and not a Versa 3, and what I think of the Versa 2 now I’ve had it a few days.
The main difference with the Versa 3 is that it has built in GPS, google assist, a built in speaker and a faster charging option… all things I could easily live without when the Versa 2 was only priced 129.99 (during a Black Friday sale) while the Versa 3 was 199.99.
The Versa 2 may not have GPS built in but if you have your phone on you (which I always do) it uses the GPS from that anyway so having it built in isn’t necessary.
There may not be any google assistant but Alexa is built in, and as someone with an echo in every room already this is a much more practical voice assistant for me anyway.
The Versa 2 still records all the same fitness stats (24/7 heart rate, daily steps, all your workouts, calories burned, water intake, food intake, menstrual cycles etc) and the mobile app is the same for both watches. I’ve found all the data it’s recorded to be accurate and both the app and the watch itself presents the data in an easy to follow way and it’s quite simple to access it all.
It also tracks your sleep automatically and though you need to pay for Fitbit premium for some data (more detailed heart rate and how often you move in your sleep) all the main important information is recorded accurately and is easily viewed.
One of my concerns before getting the watch was not liking the way the clock was set out. I’m not a fan of the hours being piled above the minuets. Thankfully there’s are loads of free (and even more that you can pay for) clock faces to choose from and personalise. You can add your own pictures from your camera roll, change colour schemes or pick a clock face that needs no adjustments but suits you fine (some of the ones I like are pictured here).
The smart watch part of the Versa is also great. I get all my phone notifications pop up on my watch (but you do need to go on the Fitbit app and under settings on your watch allow other apps access to it so their notifications come through). When out running I can see if I’m getting any texts at a quick glance which is great.
I can also control my music on my watch. I use amazon music as my main streaming device, which fitbit doesn’t support as such (not in the same way it does Spotify), but if I start it playing on my phone I can then skip though the songs plus play and pause them using the watch, which to be honest is all I need.
I’m also extremely happy with the overall look of the watch. I love the colour of both the strap and the edge of the screen.
The strap also has lots of size options (and even came with a second larger strap incase that’s needed).
My one gripe with the whole thing is the charging dock, which firstly didn’t come with a plug, just a usb, but secondly it just feels clumsy. It doesn’t really stand up straight and from googling I’ve been able to see that it works best on its side, but still falls over and doesn’t really feel like it’s the best design. Saying that it does the job and charges the watch quickly (and the charge last AGES!!).
Overall I’m extremely pleased with this watch and would recommend it above the Versa 3 if you’re looking to save a little money and you’re happy to have your phone on you all the time for the GPS.
EDIT- My husband also got a Versa 2 this week and we have since found that controlling your music works better on my iPhone and is complicated and not worth the hassle on his Android phone. He also has the option to reply to text message on his watch while I can’t do that with my iPhone.
I had an Apple watch before this which was great but nightly charging and a limited app were not ideal. This will last about a week on a charge and the app is genuinely motivating. It’s become a bit more like the old Jawbone app which I loved but unfortunately fizzled out a fair few years ago. I got this for a good discount and am really pleased with it, it’s not as slick as my old apple watch but if you mainly want fitness tracking I don’t think you could do much better than a fitbit (I’ve tried quite a few) and the versa 2 is ideal with just a little bit of smart watch functionality with the main focus on tracking and fitness.
It knows when I’m exercising and starts a workout and counts long walks as exercise towards my weekly goals. All targets can be edited and the weekly roundup gives you an overview of the activity etc you’ve done, including how it measures up against last week. I am finding this particularly useful as i can also see how my fitness bevel is affected when I’m more or less active. A soap in the face when I’ve had a lazy week but a useful one.
The premium features may or may not be something I want to keep but with the three months free at the moment it gives you a worthwhile time to try it.
I’ve not had any of the faff I’ve had with some of the other trackers I’ve tried, one of which was a recent Garmin hybrid watch which was a horrible disappointment and much more expensive.
Recommended.
There are some great features that work really well but also some really annoying software issues that really shouldn’t be there in a mature product.
Things I like:
– The heart rate monitor is really accurate, I’ve checked the readings whilst exercising on a xtrainer wearing a chest strap.
– The step count seems to work OK, I like that I still count steps if I forget my phone when out for a walk.
– Some of the motivational aspects of the app are very good (when they work) and do help, even if I ignore them now and again.
– The sleep monitoring is really interesting and actually seems to work
– The battery life is good and as advertised, I’ve now switched off the “always on” setting as it’s not really needed, now I get 4 to 5 days between charges.
– The app syncs reliably with my Withings App for weight readings and MyFitnessPal for food/calories.
What I don’t like:
– The auto detect exercise type feature doesn’t work reliably, if at all.
– GPS syncing with phone sometimes doesn’t work or drops out during a walk or cycle ride
– Cycling does not update active minutes – well it does for a few seconds, then when the app updates the route data the app clears the minutes. It’s really odd as walking, workout and elliptical exercise types work just fine.
– If you use a more reliable cycling/walking app such as MapMyRide and sync it, the data appears in the exercise list along with the heart rate data but this isn’t used to update active minutes or calculate calories burned nor does it update the “days of exercise”. Little point in syncing really.
Conclusion: If your interested in general fitness and motivation then this is a great product. If your a really keen cyclist and want reliable tracking and analyse, look elsewhere.
I upgraded from the Fitbit Alta because I wanted to use it for swimming and also to be able to read the Fitbit when out in the daylight which was a problem with the Alta. I’m so glad i did because the Versa 2 is so much better.
Positives:
Comfortable to wear. It’s not a small watch but you don’t feel it on your wrist. The strap feels soft an not too ‘rubbery’. It was very easy to set up. I quickly put Alexa, music and all the WhatsApp, Calendar etc notifications on there. I can read it even in sunlight. It’s very easy to use on the go so I can use it for swimming, set alarms, goals and timers, track water intact etc. I love having the music on there for my walking. Battery life good for at least 4 days (see below) and very quick to recharge which means it doesn’t disrupt your wearing of it too much.
Drawbacks:
With everything on it I found it used a lot of battery on the watch and my phone which has to be in range to use some of the functions such as WhatsApp so I disabled a lot of the features that I felt I didn’t need to use on the watch as they were on my phone anyway.
Some users may not like that the swim function is either ‘goal’ to set a goal time or ‘time’ to log the time of your swim. It doesn’t count laps. It does show half way time on a goal swim which I like. At the end of the workout it converts the swim to steps. I sea swim so counting lengths isn’t important for me.
I love using the Versa 2 as watch and a Fitbit. The motivational messages keep me entertained too! I would recommend it.
First and foremost, the set up of the Versa 2 was a HUGE headache. I ended up being on the line to customer support 4 times over a 2-day period of trying to set up the watch. But after it was all said and done, the watch in general is fantastic and I love it. It’s genuinely made me more aware of my calorie burning vs calorie intake, steps (didn’t realise how little I have been doing during lockdown) and which exercises burn the most calories.
HOWEVER, and this is a big gripe I have with the watch, the heart rate is NOT ACCURATE for HIIT workouts, and obviously in turn that means the calories burning is not accurate (for example, me and my friend did a HIIT workout together and we are very similar in weight and size, and I burnt 300 calories for an hour and she did 500 calories).
After a series of unhelpful phone calls to the customer support (who told me to do a factory reset after how bloody long it took to set it up in the first place, yeah right), I realised that the watch cannot pick up your HR accurately when you do exercises that bend the wrist. Because, when i went for a run for 30 minutes, I was predominantly in my peak HR zone for the entire period, but when I did a HIIT workout (also out of breathe the entire time), it sometimes had my HR as resting…. this was because I was doing burpees and push ups etc which involved bending my wrist significantly. SO, moral of the story – if you want this watch predominantly for tracking accurate calories burned through HIIT, then it’s bloody annoying. But, if you are more of a runner, cyclist, doing leg day, it will work a treat.
Also, I have only tracked my sleep a couple of times because its not accurate either (but I’m not too bothered about that) – one night when I definitely could not sleep for hours, it was showing as in light or deep sleep… not great.
Finally, spotify is great on here for Alexas round the house because it instantly picks up Alexas on your watch without needing your phone. However, if you want to play something on your phone or through earphones, the watch doesnt pick up your phone unless you literally open Spotify on your phone… which defeats the point. Once connected and playing music though, it shouldn’t lose connection to your phone (until you pause a song…).
You can see the trend here, but for everyday use and steps, it’s good and I will continue to use!
Lovely design and exactly what I expected.
I bought an Apple Watch which I wasn’t too impressed with – I compared it to
My previous charge 3 and for the money wasn’t overly satisfied so sold it.
The Apple Watch didn’t analyse sleep (without an app which was rubbish anyway) and period tracking wasn’t the best either. You could speak through it via a voice call which sometimes lagged and reply to texts/WhatsApp /messenger which I really liked.
This Versa doesn’t allow responding to WhatsApp /messenger – only view or I can’t talk through it – but can answer then pick up my phone. Notifications are good (iPhone) and haven’t experienced any delay.
The layout is lovely and much easier to use. I like that I can pay with one click (I’m with Santander) and that my bitmoji links to it.
I wish that I could say ‘Alexa’ like I said ‘hey Siri’ with Apple Watch and then ask a question but you can have her as your side button option (I have iPay) and I’ve moved her to my first screen so I can’t really complain.
I’m experiencing problems with regards to exercising. Although I log it on my watch, I need to open the app and sync before I can exercise as it won’t pick up GPS and half my route is missing!! That’s annoying but hopefully will resolve in an update. The stats seem pretty accurate and I much prefer this to the Apple Watch.
Overall, bargain for money and for what I want out of a smart watch – pay, fitness, sleep, periods – it has.
I’m very happy and love the purple colour.
It is beautiful, I bought it on sale and for the price it is what I wanted. A digital watch that does other things besides tell the time.
It is great for walking, running, hiking and only a little bit off counting steps. It is a bit useless for biking as it can’t tell you the distance but it will tell you calories, heart rate and even the speed of your bike ride. The distance travelled will not be logged correctly though and it can’t be edited afterwards. I have looked for fixes on forums and this problem has been brought up at least a year ago and it is not fixed. I do a daily trip of 7km but it only logs 1.3km on average. Some people have mentioned that it will even show their route on the map but the total value isn’t correctly logged.
It loses pairing very often as well. I’m not sure why… but I simply add a new versa 2 when it stops sync. So I’ve added my versa about once every 2 weeks. It is a bit of a pain but no data is lost by simply replacing it on the app. It is a gorgeous piece but adding new faces to it can be a long boring process…
Overall I would buy it again probably as the competition isn’t priced as well and the watches aren’t as pretty.
If you want a smartwatch for more casual purposes like logging your workouts, tracking your sleep, having an idea of your daily steps (it comes with several features that I don’t use but you might want like food log, water intake, weight tracking) then I would recomment it for you.
It is very customizable, you can change the amount of calories you wish to reach daily, the amount of steps, hours of sleep, etc. It is all done through the app or dashboard (on the website).
The Fitbit Versa 2 is a joy to wear every single day.
Shipping was perfect, and there was no damage either on the box or the product. The watch has a lot of features such as:
– Sleep Tracking
– Excercise summary
– Alexa (Useful to find certain information on the go)
– Spotify Control
The watch is comfortable to wear on your wrist, it becomes unnoticeable to your everyday life, in my experience when exercising, the watch doesn’t get in the way of my workout and the same is said for when you sleep, as the strap is made of comfortable material and has multiple adjustments holes, fit for any size arms/wrist.
This watch will last you for 4 days without needing a recharge, that is if you keep the watch in low usages, such as not having an always-on display or if you are not using an app, such as Spotify, which will run in the background if you decide to use it as a remote control for your music; Otherwise, the battery will last for 2 days or so, and would only need a 2-hour charge, which I recommend doing when going for a shower or not doing an intensive workout or activity.
On topic with the shower, the watch is waterproof and I have gone swimming with it and I have not received any problem, even tracked my swim.
The display is bright and has nice vibrant colors, the screen feels nice on both the fingers and to the eye. I have also clumsily dropped it numerous times and not a single scratch on it. The menu and the main watch screen can
be widely customized, as you can find lots of different themes, fit to your style, on the AppStore, made exclusively for Fitbit.
All the tracking is on point! Fitbit provides, with lots of useful information, which can help, for your self-improvement and well being.
Unfortunately, even tho this is mostly a great product, there are a few aspects in which that can be improved on, the system on the watch feels sluggish at times, I have encountered multiple time where the watch slows down or froze for a second.
The app on your phone is a bit confusing to figure out at first, where you install new apps and where you see information, and one major problem I have encountered is syncing when I first got the watch, I had to factory reset the watch, as it wasn’t properly syncing up between my phone and the watch, losing those couple of days worth of data.
It could help if the integrated Alexa app, could connect to other Alexa devices such as my Echo Dot, so I could ask anything and answer through my speaker, so I can hear it rather than reading it.
Overall this is an amazing product and I recommend to buy this watch if you need to track exercise or sleep, , the extra features come in handy, but I wouldn’t recommend buying this for those certain features. It’s comfortable and has a nice look to it, a slick design, easy to wear every day, but as I said I would have liked if the watch would have been easier to set up and maybe can be done by giving tip on the phone app and at also as I mentioned before at times it can be slow.
I’ve been a long-standing Pebble Time wearer, but wanted something a bit more up-to-date, and was interested in having heart rate measurement. Battery life is great – easily 5 days with constant use, and only an hour or two to charge back up. I need to have to my phone on me anyway during walks/runs etc. so the Connected GPS is fine for me. The app is packed full of information, although I will say the interface is a bit confusing – just try tapping on everything and there’s often more data hidden behind. I’m finding the calorie budget and food logging functionality really useful and have lost a couple of pounds after only a couple of weeks. The heart rate and sleep tracking has proved more interesting than I was expecting. Screen visibility is fine indoors, outdoors. It’s a bit plasticky to be honest, but I’m not really worried about the looks anyway. Notifications work well, and give you ability to clear them from the watch, and for some apps delete, open on phone etc. (I’m on Android). There are lots of guided workouts and things from the phone app that I haven’t tried yet, but my free trial of Fitbit Premium hasn’t convinced me it’s worth 9.99 a month yet. Connectivity has been absolutely fine on a Pixel 3a (Android 10). Love the single button on the left side of the watch (I’m right-handed) – simplifies interface, and means it doesn’t get accidentally pressed during press-ups, handstands etc. It’s not a computing powerhouse like the Galaxy Watch Active or Fossil Wear watches in terms of app choice etc. but I personally don’t want to play around with apps on a tiny screen, and not having to charge every day is the absolute clincher for me – I just don’t want to find myself away from home unexpectedly for example, with a dead watch because I didn’t charge it yesterday. In terms of accuracy, it definitely has a tendency to record movements incorrecly as steps – I’m a drummer, and have to take it off if I’m practicing/playing otherwise I add thousands of extra steps! However, overall
I’m very impressed.
I love my new watch. I have had a few Fitbits before but changed to a Samsung tracker for better integration with my phone. One thing I noticed very quickly, though, was that it wasn’t tracking steps very accurately. This tracks every single step I take. If I walk 100 steps it counts 100 steps, whether I’m holding a bag (or motorbike helmet) or have my hands in my pockets. These were two things that seem to confuse the Samsung watch. The only bad point is that Fitbit seems to give me a few hundred extra steps a day when I ride the motorbike. The heart rate always seems a little high too, otherwise the watch is accurate.
The app sometimes seems to struggle to sync with the watch, occasionally causing problems with passing notifications from the phone to the watch. The app needs a general update and “sort out” overall in my opinion. The food tracking is brilliant, with a HUGE catalogue of foods available to enter with just a barcode. If we were allowed to enter our own foods with a barcode (for the odd missing item) it would be a lot better still. Samsung’s app and phone connection is 100 times better. Samsung also offer LOTS of free excercise plans and fitness tips, Fitbit have chosen to make these features “Premium” which is the very worst thing about Fitbit in general. This is the only way that Samsung is better than Fitbit.
The watch looks lovely. I really love looking at it and it feels very comfortable 24 hours a day. The finish seems of a very high quality. This one of the reasons I chose this over other Fitbit models.
The watch functions well as a fitness tracker, watch and calendar. The touch screen looks great and feels great to use. This watch motivates me to keep moving all day, helping me get fitter and lose a little weight.
Overall this is the best watch I’ve ever owned and it is an absolute bargain.
Update, 4 months with the watch I have lost 2 stone. Most importantly I have lost a lot of body fat and gained muscle. This was down to tracking the food on the app and keeping below the calories I had burned. I wasn’t fat and haven’t worked hard for this but having everything in one app has helped me realise what I was doing badly!
I got this for my birthday and I have been using about a month now. This is my first Fitbit so I can’t really compare to the other models but as an individual product it is great.
I bought it to encourage me to walk more and have been using it for my couch 2 5k runs, I find it seems fairly accurate and the automatic workout sensor is very cool although it did get it wrong one time and thought I was on the eliptical when I was actually running lol! but every other time it has been correct in sensing whether I am running or walking.
The sleep function is very cool and seems to be accurate, I find it interesting to check each morning!
The app is great although at times I can have trouble SYNCing it to my watch, it always resolves after I turn off bluetooth and reconnect but can get a bit annoying. The app is great though, you can find more in depth information about your sleep cycles, your steps, distance you’ve walked, your workouts and more, you can track your period and symptoms and it will predict when you are next due on, you can also track your birth conrol pills etc. I you wish you can track your calories and the food you’ve eaten or the water you have dank. There is a community section and you can add your friends to motivate and support each other which is very nice. There are many apps to choose from, there are apps for kegel exercises, for meditation/mindfulness, for toothbrushing etc.
There is a premium function but I have not bought it, through this you have access to workouts etc but for me personally I wasn’t willing to pay for it from the reviews I read it seemed overpriced. Another thing I have read is aparently the tend to break if you use them in water so be careful of that..I personally take it off to shower etc as to me it’s not worth the risk. I like to use spotify through my watch when running/walking as it makes it so much easier to skip through songs rather than pulling my whole phone out!
Overall I am very happy with the watch, it looks great, I got the pink colour and I love it! It looks smart and goes with every outfit and it doubles up as a nice accessory as well as being functional. It definitely motivates me to keep active and I love all the additional apps and functions, I would recommend it!
Pre-ordered this and delivery was on time.
In the box you get the watch, charger, and some straps. There’s also an instruction pamphlet, but it’s pretty basic. To get started properly you need to download the Fitbit app, after which the app will take you through the installation process. Be warned that there will most likely be a firmware update to go through first, so you need to have the Fitbit on charge.
So the charging cable is a custom USB cable purely for the Fitbit. An industry standard cable would have been better – just one less cable to manage.
The watch is easy to use. I suggest buying a custom clock face (you can do this via the app. The custom clock faces provide a lot more info). There’s a lot of customisation you can do. I have the display set to off, and the watch will switch on the display if you make the action with your wrist to look at the watch (not 100% perfect though).
Battery life looks to be very good. I’ve used the watch extensively for a 24 hour period so far, and the battery is at 84%.
Edit: the battery life is awesome. I charge it once a week, even then I reckon I could get a couple more days out of the existing charge.
The biggest negative for me is that the watch can sense when your exercising and start to log the activity. Only problem is that is works for some exercise types only e.g. it didn’t work for when I did weight training. You do have the option to manually add the activity, or start it via the watch, but given the price of this watch it should log automatically.
The other issue I found is with the app. Some clock faces require an activation code. This can only be done via clock face settings in the app, which isn’t yet supported for the Versa 2. Edit: this is now fixed.
Another issue I found with the app is that it doesn’t log a walk properly when using GPS. I stress this is an issue with the app and not watch. What happens is the app starts to log, and then at some random point stops logging using GPS, but still provides the correct statistics, only that according to the GPS part of the stats the walk ended long before it did.
I’ll update this review as I delve more into the features of this watch.
Edit: The watch records your sleeping heart rate, but Fitbit charge a premium for you to see YOUR data. Not impressed. That’s one star knocked off
