As long as you understand what you have to do, it’s easy to assemble. Then the result is as advertised, it’s keeping my 65inch TV with ease, and the glass of the base is beautiful.
Thought this stand might be too big for a 32″ tv but it works well. Instructions easy to follow and all parts well marked. Would buy again.
We used this for the LG G2, which doesn’t come with a stand in the box (thanks LG). Reading online the official LG stand is considered to be a bit wobbly – not unstable per se but allowing for the TV to sway or move a bit if shaken, which didn’t sound good! This was moot in the end anyway as the stand was sold out everywhere (thanks LG) so faced with the prospect of having to watch TV with it flat on the floor or propped against the wall we opted for this.
The first to stay is that it is kinda ugly to my eye. I think the TV is quite beautiful (it’s designed to be wall mounted but we didn’t want to do that) and that sleekness is somewhat undermined but the harsh lines of this stand. For example, the brackets at the back can be seen at the bottom of the TV if you have it held higher on the stand as we do. The base is quite nice and shiny but if you have a nice TV I think it will contrast in design and build quality with the stand.
However, one very positive thing I can say about this is it’s solid as a rock! Even when jumping around near the TV it doesn’t really budge and that’s not usually the case with LG official stands in my experience.
Easy to assemble and attach to the tv. Strong and
sturdy- it doesn’t feel like it could tip over. Good value for money. Highly recommended.
Took a bit of time to set up but works well.
I like this very much but one star off because it was a bit of a pain having to assemble it with instructions not always clear.
I recommend this item but be aware when assembling to attach the bracket to the right height otherwise you will have a TV 14″ higher than the stand.
THE LEGS THAT CAME WITH THE TV WERE TOO FAR APART TO FIT ON MY TV UNIT SO BOUGHT THIS STAND TO REPLACE THEM. A LOT CHEAPER THAN BUYING A NEW UNIT. VERY PLEASED WITH THE STAND.
Great Quality Stand, Used on a 77″ LG Oled
I used this for reference on my 77″ LG C2 Oled, it was easy to build, and looks good, cables are managed at the back with clips so all looks tidy,The base is very solid piece of glass. it raised up the oled so i could but a centre speaker and console under it with no issues, also when i watch films at night and its dark it gives the impression the oled is wall mounted , very highly recommended.
I didn’t believe for one moment that this product would hold the weight of my Samsung curve 49inc TV. How wrong I was in thinking that!! The product is standing tall side by side with my TV. You can adjust the product according to the height you want and you can achieve this with minimum effort.
Assembled this with my partner.
As the title suggests, I needed to buy M6x40 screws and place the small plastic gummi on top, as the provided “B” screws were not long enough for my 55″ X900H.
That’s why I rate it 4 stars, but other than that the unit is very strong and I’m happy I spent extra for a sturdy product.
Instructions were easy to follow, and the TV Stand came with all the screws and fittings for I think all TV types, it was very easy to assemble, I only needed to use a Philips screwdriver (other than that tools required were included in the package) item arrived same day and it seems to be fine, good item and decent value for the money
Bought to use in our static caravan as the TV had simple feet at each end and the space for the TV on the furniture was very narrow. After a few minutes assembling the stand, it attached to the TV easily and now we have a solid stable TV which is 100% better than the original TV feet. It has enough adjustments to fit a lot of TV sizes, and height of the TV can be set to a few different heights during assembly so you can get the perfect position of the TV. (Its a fixed stand which does not move once fitted)
I bought this for a Samsung 75″ TV. The plastic “stands” for the TV supplied by Samsung are a safety issue – a child could easily pull the TV over on top of them. This item on the other hand is very sturdy, and also features a horizontal swivel allowing the TV to be angled precisely. However the screws supplied did not fit the Samsung and I had to order extra screws from Amazon – measure the length and diameter first. It’s a two-man job to fit the TV to the stand – I would not advise trying to do it on your own. An excellent product however. Recommended.
Super easy to put together with simple instructions and includes a huge number of fittings/screws/washers etc to mount your TV which is ideal. Necessary tools (spanner, allen key) included also. The finished stand looks premium and construction feels solid with very little play. Freedom to swivel the screen is nice. Only issue I had was the cable management clips didn’t go in properly even with a lot of force and are loosely hanging from the stand. Maybe I’m not putting them in correctly but perhaps the instructions could be clearer. Otherwise really nice for the price and of course it works with pretty much any TV so much better than buying a stand specific to your TV.
Bought to raise TV high enough so toddler couldn’t reach it, as already lost one TV to busy hands! Does exactly the job we wanted to, although a lot of reviews state it comes with a wall strap & swivels; this model does not, and so can only assume this is a newer product than previous reviews, so please be aware of that before purchasing.
Didn’t take my partner long to put together, looks great and feels very sturdy with the ability to hide the cables on the tv, find it difficult to move myself so can’t see a toddler being able to topple it but have attached our own wall strap as extra precaution.
For the price I can’t fault it, included is a photo of my 50inch TV supported on the stand at its highest setting, we have since dropped it down to a more suitable viewing setting but wanted to show how high it was able to sit as I saw a lot of questions asking for clearance between TV and stand.
Hope you find this review helpful, overall a nice product at a good price & does what it says on the tin.
Other manufacturers should look at and learn from the instructions and component packaging for this product – it is exemplary. Every item was separately wrapped and labelled and clearly referenced in the instructions in the same order they need to be used (e.g. you need to use Bolts in package A before Bolts in package B). The instructions are clear and it’s easy to see exactly where washers etc. are intended to go. Very hard to get wrong! Most tools were provided (small spanner and an Allen key) but you will also need a Philips screwdriver. So why not 5 stars for assembly…? The very last components – 2 brackets that lock the TV into the stand, were fiddly to fit and do not look particularly strong. Everything else is sturdy and robust. The brackets are not a showstopper unless the TV is being moved around – in which case they may not be adequate. A shame though as everything else about the product is excellent.
Once assembled, the product looks high quality, is reassuringly heavy and supports my 46″ Samsung in style. I noticed there were considerably more expensive products for the same purpose and was a little hesitant about going for the cheaper version. However, I am glad I did as this does the job very well and looks good – minor issue with bracket notwithstanding.
OK buying a product when you have no clue about quality, real look compared with your furniture , if the colour fits your wall colour and so on . I had to say I took a good look and spend a lot of time reading reviews ,going back and forward and trying to make the right decision.
To be honest I didn’t had a budget in my mind when I start my investigation because simple I knew a free standing support for a 75″ tv it wont be cheap. Although I didn’t want to go to much crazy on it. The tv cost me a fortune alone. Anyway after narrowing down to 3 products I went for this one.
Not that this one was also the Amazon choice, but the pics and the positives appeared to check all my boxes I was looking for. OFC there were some negatives making you have 2 nd thoughts, but on a balance was the AMAZON CHOICE coming into the equation and had the final say. And so I ordered this one.
The moment I picked it up when hand it over by the driver I knew this one means some serious business. It is heavy guys I’m telling you. So that alone told me I shouldn’t be worry about the STURDINESS, which later on was conformed when assembled. Naturally had to give 5 stars .And was not a generous act.
Talking about INSTRUCTION assembly . I’m a skilled person going by my trade ,and never worried me .But those instruction if fallowed as the steps 1–2–3 given by the producer ,even someone never touching a tool in his/her life can do it. Everything is in the bags and nothing to worry about any additional tools. The time of assembly varies .In my case being on the phone as well when I started the process ,it took me maybe 20 minutes? Cant say for sure. But again this is not a race. You need to take your time to do it right. The only external tool I would say is a spirit level, making sure the support bit is levelled up.
Design and look. This will never look a cheap product no matter where you choose to place it. And being black fits absolutely every furniture, walls colour. The base is made from 10mm glass which rock solid (usually the internal spiral stairsteps are made from 10mm glass as you wish for a comparison),and coated black at the bottom .This way your shiny black gloss look ,will never gets damaged even if you scratch the top by accident . Things do get wrong sometimes.
Height Adjustment . It does come with 2 possible heights from you can choose to fit your needs. Sometimes even 100 mm makes the difference. So you got to choose what’s best for you. To conclude if you can spend up to 80 on a pedestal tv ,this is the one for you, forget about 100++ , unless you fancy some free extra shelfs on it which becomes a different story.
I bought two of these stands, having bought a new TV. This one and the swivelling model, which I assembled first.
Assembly was a piece of cake, the diagrams are clear, all parts easily identifiable and all fixings labelled accordingly. The new TV looks good on its swivel stand and we are very pleased with it.
The customer service I received impressed me the most though. When I came to assemble the second stand, on opening the box I immediately realised that there were no fixings included, they are packaged separately in a small box within.
On contacting the seller, I received an almost immediate response by email asking to confirm what, exactly, was missing. I did this and received a reply the next morning advising that they do not carry ‘spares’ but would arrange for the manufacturer to send me a pack direct. I received further email updates confirming the order and confirming dispatch, with a tracker number. They duly arrived after a week and now both TV’s are looking good.
I would not hesitate to recommend both the product itself and the seller as well.
Very easy to assemble and very sturdy.
Large amount of different screws and setup options provided. The only thing that wasn’t included, but is needed, was a Phillips screwdriver. Once the stand is assembled, it’s just a matter of lowering the TV brackets to rest on the base unit.
For a 10+ year old flat-screen TV I wasn’t sure if it would be compatible but it’s a perfect fit. It’s added a maximum of 2 inches underneath the TV which, while less than expected, is enough to house a large soundbar on the stand, and a full-size XBOX One beside the stand, under the TV. Obviously TV model and size will vary the results.
Other than needing a screwdriver, my only complaints would be when assembled the TV looked slightly angled. This was remedied by tilting the TV (using some force) as there is just enough leeway with the base-spine screws to allow that, while still keeping it set in place.
With the rubber feet, it’s very tough to swivel the display. I’m not sure how other reviewers managed it but other than turning the unit as a whole, there is no way to change the viewing angle as the spine is screwed into a square groove by four solid screws.
Overall I’m very happy with it. It has not added much height to my TV but is a lot better than the standard unit that came with the TV.
UPDATE
I have have had this stand for 9 months and I am still delighted with the quality and value for money. I’m very happy with my purchase.
I have a 47 inch LG TV which is mounted on the wall above my fireplace. Thinking I’d want it there forever I stupidly threw away the original stand and having decided I now wanted it on a corner TV cabinet I thought I’d have a big problem. This universal stand is the answer. It’s great I’m more than happy with my purchase. As I didn’t need it to rotate I bought the none swivel version. Build quality is very good and anyone who has ever bought a TV wall bracket can be reassured build quality is the same. Comes flat packed with all fixtures and fittings for a number of tvs so don’t worry about screws to fix tv to bracket you get a wide selection of screws. The base is glass with other parts being metal. Assembly time is about half hour. Some people have stated the instructions are hard to follow but in my opinion that’s not correct. You get a comprehensive step by step guide with illustrations and anyone familiar with building a TV bracket or flat pack furniture will find it easy. Tools are supplied as follows 4mm hex key and spanner. The only tool you will need to find is a Philips screwdriver. When all is complete my 47inch TV feels safe on the stand and I have confidence in its strength. For the price it’s amazing. It also comes with a wire and wall fitting to attach your new TV and stand to the wall so if you have toddlers that might try to pull the TV on the floor won’t be able to. As I don’t have that problem I am not going to use the wire.
This was purchased for a Sony KDL – 42W654A. I cannot fault the delivery which was very quick, or indeed the contents of the kit. The instructions could have been clearer, the pictures which form the vast majority of the instructions could have been bigger more plentiful and clearer. I was impressed with how the parts were packed, each different item had its own poly pack with the letter that was used to refer to it in the instructions printed on it, so you had no problem locating it, never seen this before and other manufacturers should follow this example. Because of the apparently non standard VESA layout of the Sony KDL – 42W654A the actual assembly and fitting of the stand can best be described as tortuous, I had to source some different bolts.nuts and washers and grind down the nuts in order to make them fit. This was purely caused by the non standard TV and does not reflect on the item. However if the additional bolts and thinner nut had been supplied 5 stars would be appropriate. The time elapsed from starting to finishing was 24 hours but this included the sourcing of the extra nuts, bolts and washers, grinding the nuts down and a lot of head scratching. The finished product looked great and held the TV very well, well worth the effort, although without a little bit of engineering ingenuity this, I believe, would not have been the outcome. Would I order this product again, without a doubt, perhaps it would be useful if the supplier could have a list of TVs that this will not fit straight out of the box. I did inquire about the Sony KDL – 42W654A before purchase but received a standard not very useful reply.
Like many others looking at new TVs which have legs fixed right on the end of the TV and no swivel function, we bought this to replace them.
It was well packaged and had all the small parts in plastic packs with the corresponding part key printed by it, so it was really easy to match the right parts to the remarkably clear step by step instructions.
It came with 3 hex wrenches (2 with screwdriver ends) and 2 small spanners, but I’d suggest using a ‘proper’ screwdriver and a 13mm spanner, as the ones provided aren’t brilliant. There are an assortment of screws and spacers to allow for attaching the brackets to various TVs and it allowed for us to raise or lower the height quite easily.
Once assembled and the brackets were screwed to the back of our 40″ Panasonic TV, it was simple to hang it off the stand and attach the locks to stop it moving about on the stand. It feels very secure and well made.
We can now swivel the TV and it looks like it was an original part of the TV – It’s just a shame that it wasn’t originally built with a central stand, as more TVs now are designed to accommodate a soundbar sat in front, so they have moved away from a central stand to having legs on the ends.
But if, like us, you like the price and functionality of the TV but can’t see how it’ll fit where you need it or you just want to be able to have it swivel from side to side a bit, then this will do the job for you.
