Pesante e ben fatta. Il perno per gli angoli scivola troppo bisogna fare attenzione. Come tiralinee farraginosa da adoperare e non ha le tacche precise: utile, ma mi aspettavo di pi.

No problems with accuracy that I can see and the flip-out extension is sturdy. It is a little fiddly to unscrew the integral scribe out of it’s housing but i usually use a pencil etc.

Having the grooves in to hold a pencil whilst marking up is very handy.

Easily my most used measuring/drawing tool, and it’s so nearly perfect.

When you’re forced to use it upside-down, the frontside isn’t quite as flat as the backside, and I’m regularly confused by the fact the measurement readings change on the backside. (Frontside is 290mm one direction, backside is 140mm in both directions)

    Otherwise flawless.

Saw this featured on a YouTube video and thought the unique features looked interesting, so figured I’d grab one.

It is extremely well made, is definitely square (or as square as I can work out) and the angle pin is a great feature, as is the extension for marking wider boards.

    Top product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Thinking outside the... square?

    Does what it says.
Only issue is the angle adjuster sticks out on one side , so it can o ly be used as set Square on one side

For general use this square has a lot of neat features, but for some detail work it could be a bit more refined. The tip of the square has a large flat area so you cannot put a fine line to the edge of the board if you need to do precise work. The traditional blue squares come to a nice point. It is a lot heavier then a standard square so if you carry it around all day for framing it would definitely not be the first choice. The magnets that hold the foldout in place do collect msc junk that is usually in the bottom of your pouch pockets so you have to clean it up again to fold it properly. For the rest it’s a pretty neat square.

This item is a great square including a folding out rule. The most handy part is the scribe pin which is safely stored in a threaded slot, I have used it a few times already. The notches allow quick and easy scribing of lines. Overall you will not be disappointed if you purchase this Square.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI used this tool to make a new gate and helped a friend make a picnic bench.
This really helped me out a lot.
I was able to measure exact angles which means the whole thing didn’t fall apart after 1 day.
I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for something like this

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersAt roughly four times the cost of the basic blue speed square, I would say this isn’t worth it if you don’t use a square often but this is a considerable upgrade, first day on the job site with it I was transferring a line across an uneven surface and found it was beneficial to have the fold-out section that could take the corner which wasn’t something I’d even thought of. The square has been working great and though it’s a little bit heavier which is an inconvenience if you’re wearing it on a pouch you wouldn’t want it any lighter to risk lessening the build quality and the extra versatility is easily worth the weight. I bought it for the flip out feature which adds the extra length but I have been most impressed with the teeth that guide the pencil when making a line, whitch I now think should be mandatory on all squares

This square has replaced my old Stanley one.

It’s been great, I’m really enjoying the extra length I can get out of it with the foldable ruler.

I’m a Carpenter by trade and a square is an important tool for us. We can use it to mark straight lines, scribe, find angles, find square edges, as saw guides, so many possibilities.

It’d a little heavier than the standard aluminum speed square but that’s because of the extra foldable ruler. I would 100% trust the accuracy of the foldable ruler but it’s accurate enough for getting more length on marking lines for cutting material. For use on larger rafters and stairs risers, I would stick to a typical full sized Carpenters square.
The expandable ruler is magnetized to the square and folds in nice and tightly.

I ended up taking the angle gauge off, as I never used it, and it made it difficult to place inside my pouch, but I can see it useful for the right person who might be cutting angles on a regular basis. For me, this is primarily a square for marking lines.

The look and feel of it is great, it’s cleanly milled and looks like a pro tool. The standard speed square you’d find on a job site is die cast, so they’re rough looking. This looks like it was cut on a milling machine and all the edges of it are sharp and clean. Makes for using the notches to mark different dimensions a treat.

All in all I’d recommend the tool as a step up from the typical speed squares. I’m going to be using this for the rest of my career.

    Great Speed Square
