Frog Tape Green Multi Surface Painters Masking Tape, Indoor
Frog Tape Green Multi Surface Painters Masking Tape, Indoor Painting and Decorating For Sharp Lines and No Paint Bleed 36mm X 41.1m
Clean Surface & Let Dry
Sand then clean the area you will be masking and painting before you tape to make sure the surface is dust free. Use a damp sponge and a few drops of washing up liquid mixed in a bucket of warm water. Let surface dry completely before applying tape.
Tape in 30-60cm Sections
Tape any areas on your surface you want to keep paint-free. For best results, tape in 30-60cm sections to avoid stretching the tape.
Burnish Tape’s Edge
Burnish the tape’s edge with a plastic tool like a putty knife or credit card to ensure the tape is completely flush with the surface you will be painting.
Remove Tape When Paint is Wet
For best results, remove the tape while the paint is still wet, making sure to slowly pull at a 45 degree angle.

Very easy to use and creates perfect straight paint lines. No bleeding into other areas. It was adhesive to my clean wall surface without damaging ceiling paint. I bought the product again – highly impressed
More expensive than masking tape but definitely does a better job. Need to be careful to remove right after painting and with care so as to not remove the paint underneath or your newly painted edge.
I bought this on recommendation for printing skirting with carpet down. The trick is to put the tape a little too close looking to the skirting then push it down to catch the edge of the carpet against the skirting. A few mm closer than you’d think. I was still worried until I lifted the tape a few days later, but I needn’t have worried. Protects the carpet very well. Have ordered more to do downstairs next.
Get rid of the plastic container, reduce your price. Then you’d probably get a 5* instead of 4*
The tape does exactly what it’s used for.
Their’s too much plastic in this world. Why add to the problem.
Thought I would try my hand at some DIY and needed a good surdy masking tape and this filled all of my expectations. Great product and would definitely buy again.
Bought & tried, I found it certainly gave me the straight lines I was looking for, unfortunately it also took the paint of the walls when removing, and same when using on gloss paint surfaces, it took bits of it too.
This product is great if you have a large painting job ahead of you.
It’s a large roll of tape so you can mask off as much as possible before you start painting.
I like the bright colour when masking as it makes it easier to see those difficult points you’re masking off.
The product was delivered safely and very quickly once my order was placed. Quality product from a top seller.
We’ve recently moved into a new house that has required a lot of work. We’re now onto painting and wanted to make it looks as sleek as possible, so frog tape was required! We tried with the regular painters tape but it was useless and just kept coming off the walls but Frog Tape has been amazing. Highly recommend and the price is fab too.
Tried and tested many times. Peels off easily and does not leave chunks of tape on the surface like other brands. A professional decorator near me admitted this was the pros tape of choice, I can see why.
sticks great, leaves a nice straight line and i can actually remove it, unlike cheaper masking tape that i needed to scrape off vs just peeling it off.
Strong, easy to tear, good adhesion and easily removable. I won’t use any other brand from now on.
Simple to place around doors and skirting. Removes easily once paint is dry and leaves professional finish
I hate masking tape when painting, i find it always bleeds through and can rip the paint when being removed. This is excellent, no bleeding through, easy to use and easy to remove!
Perfect for my painting needs, best brand of masking tape I’ve found.
Great masking tape but will take paint off walls when removed
Used this to mask my walls that i painted a couple of weeks ago so i could paint my architrave but when i removed the tape it took the paint with it which was very annoying
This is very tacky so depending on the surface it may not be appropriate. Otherwise it does what is expected, just be aware that it may be a bit much for some painted walls and could remove some paint or loose plaster but that is not the fault of the tape.
This is handy when you are painting walls and do not want colours to over lap on the next wall.
Really good masking tape. Stops the paint bleeding. Nice and easy to remove.
The only thing I would say is not to stick it to freshly painted walls because when you remove it, it pulls the paint off as well.
This masking tape is superior to most others. I find it easy to use, applying in short or longer lengths. I use it painting and for sealant edges. When used for painting I find the paint does not soak through the edge as long as you made sure it is well stuck down. I use it on bathroom and kitchen sealants as it gives you such a clean line finish and my skill in doing the job without masking is non existent. Also with sealant the masking obviates any over smearing which you can easily get without it. I find this tape save me hours of cleaning up afterwards hence I give 5 stars as clearin* up is my least favourite part of decoration. You can get different widths and sometimes it can be helpful when you have wider plain timber finishes to avoid paint splashes etc. overall great product I would recommend.
It seems as though wall paper is no longer the staple wall covering and has been overtaken by painting feature walls.
In the ongoing decorating cycle I seem to be stuck in – my living room is on its 3rd iteration in six years??? – being able to conjure up straight lines where white paint meets coloured paint is essential.
I’ve used frog tape to good effect before so picked up a roll of this.
The Good –
Firstly, it’s green, or yellow if you bought the yellow tape, this means in a sea of tools, sheets and beige, it really stands out. It’s handy.
It’s easy to apply, just the right amount of tension to ensure you are putting a straight line in without tearing it until you want to.
In the past when using general masking tape I have often tore it during application, not so with this.
As long as you remember to remove it shortly after painting it really will leave a perfectly fantastic border line. I found once when I left it on for a couple of hours it took a lot of paint off with it on removal. Don’t be like me. Take it off early.
It does come off easily when pulled, try to pull in short amounts rather than ending up with 6ft dangling on the floor at a time, this also helps to increase the effectiveness and reduce unwanted paint removal I have found.
I don’t seem to ever get any seepage from this so it gives me confidence to just hurl the paint on, meaning I can go a fair bit faster round a room.
There isn’t anything bad to say about this product, it is a premium product versus standard beige masking tape you can pick up anywhere, but you really do get a premium finish for your money.
A decorating essential. Highly recommended.
Five Stars.
