Purchased as a holiday gift for my 11-year-old nephew. His eyes grew big once he unwrapped this game. My husband and I had no idea what he was saying as he began shouting excitedly about the characters. However, based on his reaction and comments apparently this Marvel Black Panther strategy game is a standalone game that includes the characters Black Panther (his favorite), Iron Man, Captain America, and Black Widow. There is also a 1 in 4 chance you may find the chase variant of Metallic Black Panther. In addition, new game modes Scrimmage and Siege add two new ways to play Funkoverse. The game is full of options even though you play with the same board repeatedly. In my nephew’s opinion more players = a better game experience. He also mentioned you can combine it with other Funkoverse sets.
The game is fantastic and fun. The components are great with the figures being the star of the product.
The gameplay is fund and exiting as character compete against each other in for different scenarios. The amount of content for this hame system will keep you entertained for some time and breathes fresh air to the game.
The rules are fast and easy to learn even children can get them.
The appearance is very cool with vibrant colors, great graphics and quality components.
My only issue will be abilities of characters are sometimes a bit anti thematic and storage solutions when one have the collection can be nightmarish.
Other than that great game to play with a few beers with friends. As the level of thinking involved allows for drinking and playing. I enjoy it alot.
Los Funkos son de materiales de menos calidad que los normales pero se siguen viendo muy bien, tambin son un poco ms pequeos, aun as para tenerlos en la coleccin se ven bien, en mi caso no he podido ni jugar y las figuras las tengo en la caja porque igual se ve bien toda la caja del juego como parte de mi colecci
La verdad el juego me parece complicado de entender pero las figuras que trae me parece que funcionan bien para quienes coleccionamos funkos 🙂
PD. Son un poco ms pequeos que un funko normal.
Excelente para coleccionistas y jugadores de mesa, los acabados estn impecablemente detallados, buena diversin, lo he comprado 2 veces para regalar y fascinados con este set, lo recomiendo al 100%, para saber jugar tambin estn las explicaciones en Interne
Es un poco difcil para nios pequeos, por eso tiene la leyenda de 10+ la calidad es buena el tamao de los funkos es linda no son muy grandes, y perfectos para el juego, vale totalmente la pena por el precio que me cost.
Another fun addition to the funkoverse universe. Great when paired with Thanos to play the infinity stones game mode but also great to mix with other collections as per all the other funkoverse sets.
I may have got lucky but the edition I received contained a chase exclusive Metallic Black Panther Figure. It may be random if you get this or the standard editio
I bought this as a present, I thought the items were cute and well made. Little did I know this is a hard to find set and for the price I paid was significantly less than what dealers on eBay are selling it for.
Great quality however the games is a little hard to follow
This Marvel set features a new “Objectives” mechanic with extra figures you could add to your Scenario gameplay and mix with sets from other franchises like DC and Harry Potter if you wish. That’s what I love about Funkoverse. The ability to mix up the franchises.
The abilities of the Avengers characters here are all pretty simple and straight-forward which I feel would make this a great starting set for anyone who wants to try out Funkoverse for the first time. In fact, I feel that these are some of the more fun characters to play with from what I’ve seen so far. Each character has a more aggressive play-style due to their traits and abilities which forces you to get up close to your opponents and quickly get in on the action in-game.
I don’t believe this was stated on the product description here but I actually received the “Chase Edition” of this set which is even better because I got an exclusive variant of the Black Panther figurine which you could see in my photo here. This made the purchase even more worth it for me as it’s a nice touch to the figure with a nice glittery purple coating on Black Panther’s design.
I was not a funko fan. I just had two normal funkos before. But now, since I got this game (funkoverse), I want to have more funkos to play!! I wish they continue doing marvel characters. I really enjoy this game and how you can combine and play with other universes. giving 5 stars!!
