Baby nearly sits by themselves. This is a great transition to help them sit up unaided. Bright colours and fun little things to grab for baby and keep entertained and safe. Of course you can’t leave the baby on their own but seems safe from flipping over. Takes time to blow up and assemble but stays inflated for ages. Easy to wash the cover. Baby seems comfortable as long as there is something soft underneath. Seems like good quality.

This is brilliant my granddaughter loves it and it means I can put her down and know she’s safe and won’t hurt herself, obviously I wouldn’t recommend she’s left alone it because she often tries to role out but hey that’s just kids and its so sweet watching her grabbing and tasting all the activities this ring has to offer.

My daughter really enjoys sitting in her play ring she started using it at 2 months old so we deflated it slightly so that she could lie comfortably on the edge. Now that she is learning to sit it allows her to do this safely and is protected if she falls in any direction. The colours and pictures are interesting for her to look at. I would recommend this.

This is a great item especially for a baby that’s not yet crawling. Bit overpriced given its essentially a rubber ring with flimsy material wrapped round. Material is machine washable which is a big plus.

I purchased this for my daughter, I found it a little annoying trying to inflate it as nothing was provided with the product to make it that little bit easier. The quality of the product is quite good and value for money is alright.

My little boy loves sitting up in this now he’s bigger but it helped him learn to sit independently when he was smaller to. It’s brightly coloured and he enjoys the squeaky duck beak. I would recommend this.

Baby is sitting much sturdier since we’ve purchased this for our 6 month old. He needs additional toys in the ring to keep him entertained but its been a godsend! Highly highly recommended!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIt’s a good size but due to this not suitable for a newborn at all. There is no padding in between the bit the baby sits in and the floor so I have folded blankets and put underneath. The hole is very large so I would only use 3months + or they just slide down into the hole. Lovely design work but because it’s so large hard to store unless completely deflate which is a pain to have to get the pump out to inflate as no way blowing it up manually.

Love how the product has lots of child/baby friendly attachments going around the outside of the ring. Like squeaky nose of the duck and a crunchy paper book. Great for tummy time too for smaller babies x

This nest was excellent for our baby to sit with support and she ended up learning to sit up quite early. Maybe due to this? Only downside- she loved sucking the horses tail and over time managed to nearly pull it off. With only a stitch or two remaining I pulled it off so she didn’t! Still an excellent product. May be worth the company rethinking the horse tail design.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent for baby but a part came off over time

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGreat ring, cannot fault it. But only for smaller babies. Possibly no more than 4 month old, depending on the size of your baby, it wouldn’t be suitable.

…and when it came to blowing up the ring, because it is only a small mouth piece to blow in to, you need a decent pair of lungs to do it! Once the ring was inflated it stayed inflated.

Another thing was that it’s not suitable for laminate flooring as it has no grip so it would slide about when I put the baby in the ring so I had to spend money to buy a mat to put underneath it.

Please see update to my previous review below. I’m keeping up the previous review for transparency.

The Vendor HAS sent out the replacement, although it took two weeks to arrive it works perfectly. Their communication did feel like ‘ fobbing off’ but perhaps that was viewed through the lens of frustration, who knows! Dear Vendor, thank you for honouring your word!!

Actual product looks good but terrible experience with the vendor.

Product was faulty, asked for a replacement or refund direct from vendor. Was fobbed around with lies for 2 weeks. Amazon agreed to refund me instead. Very frustrating to be constantly lied to and fobbed off.

This has been good for the wobbly sitting up stage! He’s strong now and loves the toys on it still and had it for about 5 months… its now helping him with the starting to crawl stage and build strengh he loves it so do I good to put him in while I need to quickly do something I recommend.

My daughter only turned 4 montgs today so still a bit small to truly appreciate it l. When I sit her on it she slides down after a while as she hasn’t quite perfected the art of sitting. It’ll be perfect to take with us on holiday, that’s my favorite thing about it!

Really nice bright and colourful and a different take on a play gym. There is a handle to carry it around which is useful… plus baby can play on tummy or laying down and sit up as well as soon as they are old enough to hold up their head. Bargain and a great buy!

This has been one of my best buys for my baby. He wasn’t too keen on it at first (I think when he was around 2 months old) but since about 4 months old he would sit in it happily. I bung a few toys in with him and he will stay in one place and play for a while whilst I do a few chores! He also likes the little bits around the edges to play with. He is nearly 8 months old and has just learnt how to escape unfortunately but he still enjoys it. It is easy to remove the cover and clean it too.

I brought this for my 7 week old as its stated from 0+ months onwards but was quite unhappy with the amount of room left around my son. I would not say this is something a newborn baby can lay in, my son repeatedly slipped down. I use it but with a blanket to keep him proped up and in place. It was easy to blow up and assemble and I cant wait for my son to be able to use it to it’s full potential as he grows.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersLove this play nest! I brought it for my 5 month old who can’t sit up by himself yet but can support his head. We are currently in lockdown due to the Coronavirus and after 6 weeks stuck in our flat he has become very fussy and bored so I was searching the internet for some new toys to keep him busy and I went for this. I absolutely love it! He plays in it and lays back in it and relaxes. The product is good quality and the case is so colourful and interesting to look at. I have found he sits up better unaided in it because he has support all round. We’ve only had it a couple of days but have got so much use out of it already, it’s great!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great fun for my 5 month old

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis playnest seems nice enough for my baby who is 5 months and requires support to sit up. He enjoys being slid around and as he usually hates being put down, he has been fine with spending time playing in this playnest.

    Pros:

*Baby can be put in this and left to play, which is good if your baby hates lying down in a playgym / cot etc
*Unlikely to tip over if fully inflated so baby is relatively safe
*Can be slid around using rope handle
*Colourful design (can be a con as baby may not be able to see other colourful toys which are put in this playnest)
    *Easy to assemble
*Has a few bits and bobs attached on the edges for baby to play with
*The sitting space is reasonably sized if baby is able to sit up by himself
*Price is good in case your baby only uses it for a few weeks

    Cons

*Not sufficient back support for babies who can’t sit up. They would be leaning backwards and would need to stretch their legs for support but the leg space in that case seems quite small. Putting a cushion behind baby’s back to help them sit up may be useful in this case
*Toys likely to fall off the edges or into the sitting space due to shape of playnest. It would be great if one could attach them properly
*If toys are multicoloured they blend into the colourful pattern, making it more difficult (at least for my baby) to see them and pick them up

Overall I am satisfied with this and think that my little one will play in it more, once he can sit up unsupported. For now a cushion behind his back has been helpful .

I ummed and ahhed about buying this – I didn’t have one with my first child, did I really need one this time…?
I’m very pleased I brought it in the end, it’s been fab, my baby is just about to turn 6 months, he’s had this for a good 6 weeks or so. He loves it.
I was worried it would take up too much space but it doesn’t, it’s a good size. He’s safe and comfortable in it, he can’t fall over and bump his head etc.
I can see him still using this for quite some time yet.
It comes in a fairly small box as it is inflatable, so it’s easy and compact for storing away for any future babies!
The cover washes well and dries fast.
My baby loves the pictures and the little bits for him to play with on it. He happily sits in here with his toys – meaning they are always within his reach.
I had contemplated buying a bumbo or a snug but they seem much more restrictive, the play nest still allows him freedom to move and aids him in learning to sit up, he sometimes sits unaided in it, but as he’s tires or topples he’s supported almost instantly.
Love it, very pleased with our purchase.

Purchased this for our 6 month old and she loves it! Does exactly what we wanted (e.g. provide a safe space for her to sit up and play) and was very easy to inflate. Have not had any of the problems with the inflatable tube that some people have previously mentioned here in the lower-star ratings. The reason I’m giving it a four star rather than five star rating is because the fabric on the inside of the playnest (where the baby sits) started to split at the seams after only two weeks! It was an easy fix with needle and thread, and our little girl does like to move around a lot, even when sitting, but still thought it was a bit poor after such a short amount of time

Great purchase for my baby, he is 9 weeks old and quite likes being propped up in this playnest. He is too young to sit up in it yet, but he can lie on his back with his upper back and neck supported by the ring so that he can see a bit more of the world around him – for young babies you do not fully inflate the ring, instead you kind of half-inflate it, leaving it a bit squishy so that young necks and backs are not too highly propped up. I use this ring with his baby-gym toy, i place the ring under his babygym so that he can see the dangly toys and flashing lights of his gym. The ring on its own probably would not keep a young baby entertained for long, but you can use other toys and games to help keep them happy. It is useful alone in knowing that baby will be safe and supported inside the ring – and as all mums know sometimes you just need a quick 30 seconds to go to the toilet or make a drink etc knowing that baby is laying somewhere safe! I can see this toy being useful for months to come. It is very colourful with little flaps that rustle, a squeaky duckbill, a tassell pony tale and squishy pigs nose for older babies to play with. Cover comes off so that it can be washed. Nest can also be easily deflated when you want to pack it away.

I bought this play ring when our baby was about six months old. It was great for popping her in to play, especially whilst I was in the shower (she was also in the bathroom at the time) – it is large enough that I could pop toys in with her and she also enjoyed playing with the textured materials about the surface of the ring.. I had an excellent run of using it to keep her in one place until at about 9 months when she became a master of escape and able to climb out of it. I have now taken it away from her as I’m afraid she will tip it over and hurt herself. It may well make a reappearance at a later date as my friend’s little one (18 months) uses it as a pretend boat when he comes to our house. Due to it being inflatable, it is easily stored away. I would recommend.
