It’s everything we wanted in lawn edging as we realised it’s a decent quality plastic which was fit for our purpose – the depth was also perfect. We have used expensive metal edgers in the past but will look out for this product in future but bear in mind it’s got to do the job you want it to.
I had a row of box plants and found that the front garden was too green. I purchased this lawning edging and created semi circles in front of them. It is thick and flexible. If you want to completely hide the edging you would need to dig deep then press soil to hold it tightly in place. If you are using it where you grass ends again you would need to use the same process. It is easy to cut with a pair of scissors. The flexibility allows you to create different shapes not just straight lines. A good product and time will tell if it does what it says.
We inserted a new bedding area at the edge of our patio and I needed something to keep the stones separated from the soil. I’ve used galvanised edging in other parts of the garden as it’s robust but it’s also a lot more expensive.
As I didn’t need the edging to be anything other than a divide I figured it should do the job and it does it quite well I think. I’m not sure it would be ideal for anything that needs a firm edge but if you just need a divide it does the job. I didn’t have any problems putting it in place but it was between soil and stones which were perfect for holding it upright. It’s a decent depth and overall I’m very pleased.
Used for edging in some areas when I ran out of bricks. Turned up quickly with prime. Very easy to use and makes it look clean and tidy on a budget.
Easy and quick to fit and reasonably sturdy for the price. I didn’t have to use stakes or spikes to hold it in place and it’s still where it was when I installed it a couple of months ago.
Not as robust as I thought, easy to cut and install, but could be more stronge
Looks good once in place. Bit fiddly to get it to stay in place.
