Like product, accurate, although a little hard to see, have tried several places under light, near light, closer to me, just dark, a little hard to see compared to other one I had, but I do like that it has date and time that others don’t, if you face it towards a light, shows up better to read.
Nice thing about the unit is that if you hit the snooze button – it illuminates the face for 4 seconds of so in a low light – perfect mounted in our travel trailer so you can see what time it is. The outdoor temperature sensor also broadcasts right through the metal tongue box – so that is a plus as well. Good value for money.
We had a basic indoor/outdoor one that died. One of the nice things about this one is that it has humidity inside AND outside. Most just do humidity inside. Works great out of the box, just read the instructions to set the time/date, etc. It’s not rocket science 🙂 Good stuff for sure
Quick service. Arrived just as expected. Easy to use.
Great support!!! I requested an on-line pdf of the User Guide, because I wasn’t able to find it on the web.
Support replies one day later with exactly what I requested.
Very happy 🙂
This thermometer was super easy to setup. Add a few batteries, mount the outdoor sensor, and then setup up the current time on the main unit. I’m getting excellent temp readings both indoors and outdoors. The outdoor thermometer is mounted to a deck support beam (underneath the deck), and has been working great (even after a few strong rain storms). Love the large display on the main unit… makes it so easy to read the time/temps!
It took a bit for the separate receiver to connect but once it did, it’s been great. I would recommend it and would buy it again if I needed another one.
i love it! I have it on the kitchen shelf so i always know if the temp is too hot to bring my elderly mom outside , or to get that AC cranking when it gets a little too hot inside! thanks for selling this amazon! Oh you can’t move it too far from the gage outside or it won’t show the outside temp
It’s a good in/out door thermometer for it’s easy setup, use and read, but it seems a little bit slow
in catch actual temperature but acceptable.
J’aime me rveiller avec tout ce que j’ai besoin de savoir ….heure temprature intrieure et extrieure , taux d’humidit . Parfait
Petit compact et stable . clair un court temps
Trs bon produit Prix abordable .Rapide expdition.
Bought this for the variety of features and large clock too!
It’s still a bit dark to read in sunlight or outside on the deck but it’s better than some.
It only lights up when you press the button. Otherwise it’s hard to see. It does say it on there but I didn’t read about it not lighting up unless you press the light button. My fault for not reading it. Otherwise it’s great!
Does what it says – seems pretty accurate and time keeping is good. so far so good.
This was a recent (April 2023) purchase to replace an old digital indoor/outdoor thermometer of a different brand. Set up was easy, but worth taking the little time it takes to read the brief set-up instructions. The main unit is quite compact with dimensions that allow it to rest quite flat against the wall (mine is installed on an entrance wall), yet is large enough that the digial read-outs are viewable from several feet away even for my tired old eyes. The screen-light-up function via a button atop the unit is great for very low light environments, with a convenient auto shut off of the light after about 5 seconds; so little battery drain on that account. The outdoor sensor unit is compact and easily installed on an exterior wall with a single screw (just like the main unit). Wireless connectivity was instantaneous on channel 1, with good signal strength. The distance between the location of the outdoor sensor and the main unit, in my case, is only about 10 feet, so one would reasonably expect a good signal even through the exterior wall. Have only had the unit a few weeks now so the jury’s still out; however, hopeful that it continues to perform as it has to date, at least for several years. Glad to recommend this product based on my experience with it to date.
I bought this to replace my existing thermometer, which stopped transmitting after less than 2 years. In comparison, this seems like a much more robust unit. It has “heft”.
Set up was easy. It took me longer than it should, because it seemed that the “outdoor” temperature was much too low. I was doing the setup on the kitchen table, and the connection happened almost right away, but the outdoor sensor was showing 2 degrees. The indoor temperature was 21 degrees, but since they were both indoors, the temperature should have been the same. Then it hit me. The unit was picking up the signal from a different sensor – part of a different thermometer that actually was outdoors.
So I changed the channel from 1 to 2, and everything was perfect. To tell the truth, better than I expected. Now I can read the temperature under the deck, and in the greenhouse, from this new unit simply by switching channels. Bonus!
And the instruction sheet! In real English (for once) and in a font size that I can read, even without my glasses. Another bonus.
Very easy to set up. Due to my wife not wanting it in full view I’ve had to install the receiver two thick Blue Brick walls away from the outside transmitter. No trouble at all
This was very easy to set up but as only had it for two days I cannot say anything about it performance! It is neat enough in appearance but the things that make a review are not relavent, my last one cost10 from Ldal and has lasted for about five years and I wouldn’t have replaced it had the batteries not corroded inside!so we shall see
Very easy to set up, temperature reading not very proactive. Took some time to show reading when temperature changes. I did the tests by moving from my garage, garden shed, lounge and finally my bedroom.
I am pleased with this product. I’d buy it again.
My only minor gripe would be I’d like to have the option to plug it in a wall outlet and keep the back-light on all the time or motion detected.
This battery powered clock with an alarm and inside/outside temperature monitor fits in the palm of your hand, and is light weight. It feels rigid and built well enough for its intended purpose. There is a little kick-stand built into the back so it can stand up. It’s easy to read at a glance.
I have only had it a short time and do not know how long the batteries will last (or in the remote temperature sensor). I’ll update if it is a short period of time. So far, so good.
I use it in my house. I could see it as something you bring while traveling (leaving the remote sensor at home), to keep in your travel trailer while camping (remote sensor mounted on the outside of the trailer) or in a garage and the like.
The good LCD screen back-light is activated by a big-ish SNOOZE/LIGHT button on top. It is the only way to read it in a dark room.
There is an alarm clock built in that utilizes the SNOOZE/LIGHT button as well.
It comes with a single battery powered wireless outside temperature sensor. I have mine mounted outside my house under the eaves with no communication problems inside the house 2 rooms away. (The manual says thick objects, walls and electronic devices 3 feet away from the remote can limit that distance.)
It will monitor up to 3 external sensors if you buy two more. You can select which one is the main sensor with a 3 way switch in the battery compartment. To see all of them you can cycle which external one is on the screen using a button on the back.
I recommend this little thing. I like it.
Layout of display poor because it looks like e.g. 19.57 deg. C, but means 19 deg. C and57% humidity. Even only reading to nearest 1 deg. it’s usually lower than two other thermometers.
I like this item clear and nice to look at, it do`s what it says on the box
