Again I have got this because of her autism but she loves to dance and sing it also will help her with speaking skills I think she will love this
it with play who children the to laughter Andjoy great brought and intractable is toy this find to surprised very was but things great expecting wasn’t I toy this purchasing Whe
My son wanted this toy with his pocket money so we agreed thinking it would be a great little toy for him, we have spent the last 20/30 mins screaming at this little bigger to do his little tricks for our son… Although we can see just how much fun my son could have with it, it’s rather frustrating to watch the robot do the opposite of what you’ve asked it to do but my son laughs hysterically at it not listening to us so he’s happy as Larry. Can see this being a toy that me and my partner hate!
We also bought one for my nephew for his birthday so will be fun to hear my brother getting ticked off with it too!
This is great as this toy often is very unresponsive and uses Chinese language which isn’t great for my child as he speaks English. Dellboy has entered Amazon and offloaded these from China
I bought this for a 3 yr old who has delayed speech and is self conscious about using his voice. From the first minute he fell in love with it and would shout commands at it. A complete success! His one year old sister plays with it when he isn’t looking too
Gifted this to my son who was instantly impressed. I found it a little small but had seen in other reviews that it’s smaller than expected – still good for the price.
I find that it doesn’t follow commands that well, even the ones listed in the user guide, and isn’t the most responsive when trying to record and sometimes does its own thing HOWEVER, my 5 year old didn’t care about that and thought it was a hilarious, silly robot that was confused about the instructions given and was rolling around laughing at it, so for that reason despite its issues I’ve given 4 stars
Put batteries in, followed instructions, nothing, lights came on then went out, cheaply made tat.
After writing above review i was sent a replacement free of charge which i found to work as promoted, thank you for top drawer customer service
Really fun cheap robot but due to falls and crashes it has broken down after a couple of months. Don’t think there’s anything wrong with the toy itself it’s quite sturdy but kids will be kids and let it drop from tables etc so it won’t last long
My three year old grandson loves this little robot. Especially when it repeats what he says! Nearly didn’t buy the robot because of some of the bad reviews. It does speak English and the funny language it uses isn’t Chinese but robot language . One downside is it does fall over sometimes but we just pick it up and off it goes again.
My 4 year old grandson is enjoying playing with this little robot. It’s pretty solid and has endured several falls on uneven surfaces. Sometimes a little difficult to programme and Gilobaby will do its own thing but not a problem as still fun for him and he loves talking to ‘him’ and hearing his fast repetition! Grandson says that it is easy to take the batteries out and recharge them-he’s been taught to do this with all his rechargeables since he turned 3!
The robot was much smaller than I expected but as I’d ordered it for a birthday present I didn’t have a choice but to keep it. The little boy who’s birthday it was a gift for, was happy to receive it. It was delivered in a box twice the size of the toy which added to my disappointment.
I really liked this product and has a great potential. It did follow the commends and did everything that is said on the box but this is really noise sensitive. It would not follow instructions most of the time. Eventually the kids shelved it. However, I do think it needs a little bit of patience and using it shoukd be fine.
Honestly for the price this is definetly worth it, I paid 17 as it was a lightning deal.
It’s comedy gold, there is a video you can watch to get a better understanding of controlling the robot as the instructions are a little confusing.
Filmed myself attempting to control, Mr Robot was a tad defiant and certainly was hilarious watching it back.
On christmas day my niece recieved this, she is 4 and loved it. Mainly the repeat back button which can be accessed by pressing the head.
My girlfriend also purchased one for her half brother, this had the perfect result. Bringing joy to a 6 year old and a 1 year old ( who couldn’t stop giggling) and winding up the parents!
Both Robots have probably been played with more than most of the other gifts recieved.
Excellent robot. But beware. It doesn’t work on carpet. Thankfully we do have some hard flooring in the house where it can be used.
Provided a lot of entertainment for the 2 girls of 4 and 2. So we are happy with that. And they learnt how to use it fast.
It’s a good thing. Very excitable and also pretty cute looking.
When it came it was so much smaller than the photos led you to believe. On the photos it shows the head alone being the size of a hand bit even the box was smaller than my hand. I also now think it is more for a 3 or 4 year old only. I can’t comment on the item, I returned it on the basis I didn’t feel it appropriate for a 7 year old.
My wee one is 4 years old, and all i can see hes mad because of toys.
Cars and robots. He’s spoiled lol
Never bought toys online just in shop but
I showed him this toy and he told me mom please buy buy buy that toy, oh well i bought it.
As soon as it arrived he was first ripping the box out
Ive had spare batteries for it so it works, nice and tiny robot he calls him Tori after our dog lol.
Well packed, tiny toy, and really easy to use it
There’s also a user book in different languages so its easy to to understand what that toy does and how to manage it.
It reacts to your Voice commands, and it reacts to your touch also.
It signs, dances, repeats what you say, and drives all around rooms.
Lovely robots Voice. Eyes changing colors.
It turns it self off if not using.
I picked yellow, that’s what my wee one wanted and it looks well.
Now he sleeps with it, plays and shows our neighbours what mommy bought.
I am very happy with this toy, my child aswell. Its perfect idea to buy it for someone’s birthday and price is really good.Very good quality of product, and well made.Thank you!
Bought it about half a year ago.
My little princess loves it. First she was a bit scared, then it was her favorite toy and now it still is one of her favorites.
Sometimes it won’t start untill you press the middle button for some reason tho and that the reason for 4 stars.
Overall it’s great for 10-20 minutes of play here and there. It’s sturdy enough not to break from being thrown or falling of the table.
I have just purchased this robot for my 3 year old grandaughter and she loves it.
It needs three AAA batteries which are not included; the batteries need to be put into a compartment at the bottom which needs unscrewing: worth doing before giving as a gift. It is then switched on easily with the switch underneath; the screen then lights up like two eyes, stand upright and it rolls along the floor and makes sounds. I did find on my mainly carpeted floors it kept falling over to the delight of my laughing grandaughter, I might add, but on wooden or hard surfaces it rolled and stayed upright most of the time. The sounds seemed somewhat strange to me, with the exception of the hello, but by pressing a button at the front of the unit you can record your own name, message or any other words. If you do this, beware background sounds are also picked up, so make sure the TV/radio is not on in the background. The touch sensor button on the top appears to change the noises it produces but I must admit I am still none the wiser as to what it is saying, except for the hello greeting, this doesn’t seem to bother my grandaughter however, but maybe not a toy to use to teach language skills!
The robot moves forwards, backwards and turns around unprompted and does appear to respond to a few voice commands, from myself obviously, at the moment. As a toy for a young child it has everything to keep them happy at a reasonable price for this style of toy. It is a solid unit which has been dropped to the floor a few times without causing any damage; I am not sure if it would appeal to older children who tend to have a shorter attention span and could become bored with it.
Overall an amusing interactive toy for younger children, works well on solid surfaces.
I bought this as a gift for my 3 year old son and he loves it!
This can be controlled by voice commands eg ” come here” and the robot will come to u or “can u dance” and the robot will start playing music whilst dancing around.
There are a range of commands this will respond to, Also it has a voice recording function where the robot will repeat what is said to it but in it’s own voice.
Overall this is a great product and keeps my son happy, he always giggles at it and follows the robot around everywhere.
