We bought these so we could check in on my mum who has Dementia and alzheimers in case she has a fall etc. Well all seemed OK at start on full charge put them up and low and behold 4 days later living room camera battery flat followed by second camera shut down 6.5 days into use. Battery again. I bought a PSU for living room. Now runs on mains power. After second charge for Hall Cam it lasted 4 days , you guessed it another PSU bought. Now were at over 300+ for camera’s that don’t have zoom etc on them ,sound is ok. The app is the only saving grace and the ability to record whats happening on the google cloud although other companies now offer this.. The cameras are not worth the price charged and the batteries do not get any where near the life on a full charge that they claim. There are many other cameras on Amazon that are as good and some probably better for a lot less. Only time will tell if they were a good buy or a bad buy. I may amend this review at a later date when they have been used for a month or two.
Not cheap, but easy to fit and setup and used to keep an eye on callers to mums house – added a security bracket to the external one though. Note a separate nest subscription is required for each property as we couldn’t add these to our existing home nest subscription. Nest info bit mis leading but we set up additional house on Google Home app (named appropriately) first, then charged up each camera (only one lead!). Connected Google Home app to the wifi network at mums house, selected devices, add device, scanned the bar code on the camera (when charged and connected via the charging lead), went through the app selections and said yes to the nest subscription trial. Notifications working okay and can switch between properties on the Google Home app. Notifications are better than our pro CCTV system at home but night vision not as good, so added PIR light to front door.
Easy to install and setup. Although at night the quality isn’t the best, especially if you want to capture facial features.
Main reason this got a 4* and not 5 is because, in the previous one I got, you get the long cable which you now need to buy separately. They may justify it by saying it’s got a rechargeable battery but most people are likely to use it wired rather than messing around with charging it every so ofte
I bought these with a view to using them with the batteries however they only last a few days so I bought the plug in leads from Screwfix so I don’t have to keep getting the ladder out. Overall they work great and are good quality

Battery lasts months but seems to use pir motion to wake up, so can miss stuff going on out of range.
This is a great product. I purchased this over wired in option as wanted freedom to move it around if required.
Very easy to install and video quality is great and can clearly identify individuals. Really impressed by the night vision quality too.
Initially was worried as the battery life dropped 20% after one day (probably down to extreme heat) but it has now stabilised and is sitting at 50% after 2 weeks so looks to be in line with stated projections.
No issues with network connection but can see how others might have issues as it does like a strong network signal to perform at its best.
Works best with a nest aware subscription.
Bought these to put mind at rest when not at home but also through the night, easy to set up, and exceeded our expectations on every level. Great buy.
Very good cameras, not so good on battery misses a lot of motion, however when plugged in these record 24/7 with nest aware plus and it marks events, the motion detection whilst plugged in with the cables you buy seperate it will detect motion and log events from as far as 50+ft away If you buy these hard wiring them is a must I changed from blink to these and the diffrence is just night and day
Very high quality product and very versatile in terms of mounting options indoors/outdoors and battery/wired. I love being able to keep an eye on our kids while working from home as well as checking in on the house while we’re on vacation. We have the cameras monitoring both inside and outside our home also as a security measure. This has come in handy with package deliveries and identifying strangers. Overall, very strong product and for our family it has been a great addition.
