yours sincerely a pollard
I love this product. I use it all the time and had been looking for a small cd player. It arrived very quickly and is user friendly. A stylish look that doesn’t look out of place in my lounge. The sound quality is great and on these cozy evenings my TV is never switched on. Music soothes the soul. Do yourself a favour and switch off that TV and immerse yourself in your favourite genre.
Wanted this for long car journeys and it fit the bill.. just be careful where you place it because the cd jumps with car movements ie rough patches of road so place it anywhere but on the floor.
Very good value for money.Light and portable. Ended up buying one each for my wife and daughter.
A player that can be carried around is ideal and the radio isn’t particularly heavy.
I wanted something to play my old cds but didn’t fancy paying too much to do so. This does the job brilliantly. Compact size and lightweight.
Love the option of using batteries or the power cord.
this does exactly what I wanted it to do
This is a good Radio/CD player. If it has a fault it is that the plug lead too easily falls out of the socket on the radio.
I bought this for my mum for a mother’s day present, when I open the packet the top of the box cut through the box so I had to mend with sellotape before I wrapped it up for a prese
If you want music to fill a room this will do the job and it is so compact.
Its not a boom box, so bass is ok for most music, maybe not for bass heavy stuff.
A good all rounder for little money.
Exactly as I expected, it does the job it was bought for. Service and delivery was good.
Pleased with it. Small enough to hide away when I’m at a reenactment, loud enough for a crowd to hear while at our display.
Simple to use – good value for money. Had a fairly basic radio.
It’s an OK item
Has a fixed sound so you can’t adjust
Power supply plug slip out the back
Tidy and easy to use
Highest volume level guarantees kids won’t annoy you too much
Small and compact
If your looking for something to appreciate soul and funk then it’s worth paying a few quid more for something that allows you to add. Little treble.
It is tidy, it does play prerecorded cds and is compact.
Bought to play radio and cds in the kitchen.
It’s been in regular use for the last few weeks and no problems so far.
Only used plugged in to the mains.
I was worried by some reviews saying it switched off after 10 minutes , and this is also stated in the instructions as some weird European power saving directive. (10 minutes with no input, bit oddly worded) However, I am pleased to say that we’ve had both the cd player and the radio in continuous use for hours at a time with no problems.
The sound quality is ok and about what you’d expect for the type of player and price.
So overall, pleased with my purchase. If anything goes wrong I will update accordingly.
Bought this for my grandchild. Good for the price. Sound is much better than I expected
If you have a bunch of CDs and no way of playing them, this fits the bill. To be honest I was quite surprised how expensive it was, but it works fine and the sounds quality is as good as I’d expect.

“This is a sturdy looking machine,
I said,
As tough as a tank:
Built -not unlike the box camera
Of old,
But with super, space-imaginary from….
H.G. Wells?”
But I couldn’t have possibly said this,
but I just did?
*
I love the simplicity.
The sounds
of the musical box
-the music that spins across the sea
I adore: Je t’Aime!
I touched upon the loudness of….
my French music,
but by then,
and in a polite fashion,
within my crew,
I turned down the music
in favour of giving them rum.
The stereophonic blast
-that hit me for a moment,
And I thought I was….
the Major Tom,
from Ground Control?
But something else had stirred me,
that I thought came down
from planet Mars
-I thought?
The musical box:
“-Aye, aye,
Captain”
“-takes big batteries – ”
as so my Quarterdeck man
had said!
But I said,
“I have the electrical current
from my voyage at sea.”
“Oh, please, carry on playing,” he said
“We do warm to your rum,
and we do dance in joy
to your music,
and we really do like
your strange sounds
-and are they really from the sea….”
*
Santa Claus had come early
that day,
aboard my ship.
Near invisible he was,
and in a mist.
A rum with Santa we shared I think,
and in return,
a French song
he sang
and sang again!
He set off
before Christmas Day,
In a hurry,
and in a dream
of sledge of 1, 2 and 3,
He sang:
“Merry Christmas,
one and all,
and please share
the gift of charity,
to all,
wherever your heart takes you
or whatever your gift
-it is one of giving,
of something that is
-free!”
Sinbad the Sailor,
just recalled a tale
of Santa Claus
from sea,
And I really like
the musical box
given to me
by my crew!
Thank-you,
dear Zoo Gang!
