Handheld fan perfect for keeping you cool on the go.
This Small Hand-Held Fan, as it is described on the cardboard sleeve which encased the box with clear plastic lid it came in, is a very unusual design. I never cease to be amazed by the ingenuity of the designers of these portable fans. There seems to be a new design every few days, and this is one I had not seen before.
It is a very practical design, but the one thing I wish had been omitted is the mirror. It is concealed when the fan is handheld, but exposed when it is being used in desk top mode. I suppose it’s a bit like Marmite – you either love it or loathe it. I love Marmite, but not this mirror!
The slimline design of the handle makes it very comfortable to grip in hand-held mode, and I like how part of its front section can be folded back and used as a very stable non-slip stand in desk top mode, Another feature I like is the row of 3 very small lights positioned just above the fan’s control button – Red light when charging, Green light when fully charged, and Blue light when the fan is running, but this turns off automatically after one minute.
One push button controls On/Off and the fan’s 4 different speeds, and I have found the 7 bladed fan to be very quiet during use. A USB-C Port, for the charging cable, is situated near the top of the left-hand side of the fan’s handle.
My dislike for the mirror is purely a personal issue, and I have not let it affect my rating for this product. IMO, its unusual, but very practical, design and features merit 5 Stars.
Like this has 4 speeds and the fourth being quite powerful, it’s compact USB rechargeable, well made and ideal for taking on holidays or having to hand to help cool down, a good hot flush support too!
This fan surprised me twice, which by very definition I didn’t expect, but, still, I didnt see it even remotely coming.
Although I fully understand the the physics and aero acoustics, I’m frankly stunned at how quiet this little fan is(see video). The fact is if I didnt know it was switched on, I don’t think I’d hear “setting 1” at all, because I’m only a foot away from it as I film this review, and it’s barely noticeable, I love it.
Basically, I can have this fan on setting 1, with absolutely “NO” disruption at all, to anything, even having a conversation.
The second thing that surprised me, is the mirror!, not that it’s there obviously, but that it’s there, and how well it actually works, considering its deminuitive size, it’s a very clear, and gives surprisingly good range of visible area.
With 1 button operation, which is a small rubberised button on the front of the stem, and 4 settings, 1 that to me, may as well be silent, and it still gives me a nice cooling breeze, then at setting 4, it’s a full on gust of wind, I think this is a great little fan.
Also, I like the fact they added some little little rubber feet(see pic 6) for when it’s folded out, meaning it wont scratch, or slide on any surface(probably my desk).
All in all, I really like this fan, and I will definitely be using it.
This is the quietest mini fan I’ve reviewed so far. Even at top speed it remains quiet enough to be hidden by ambient noise when travelling. The construction is yet again great , a lot of these mini fans seem to use good quality plastics. This one has the bonus of having a small mirror embedded in the handle too.
Operation is very simple , just hit the power button to rotate between four different speeds.
The fan provides a nice breeze and covers a good surface area, very cooling. The 2000mah battery should last some time. Charging is by usb C.
The handle folds back to reveal the compact mirror and doubles as a stand, so ideal on a desk or bed side table too.
The price might seem slightly high on this but worth it in my opinion for the quietness alone. Would certainly purchase it again if it was to brake.
