This is an overall good quality ultrasonic cleaner.
It is easy to use and easy to clean items with it.
It has a 600ml tank and fits a lot of small items inside.
It is great for jewellery and cleans them well.
There are 5 different cleaning cycles – 90, 180, 300, 480 and 600 seconds and I suggest you to always start with the shortest time and repeat the cycle if you need to.
This is to make sure you are not going to damage your items.
The cleaner will need an ultrasonic cleaner liquid ,which normally comes as a concentrate ,which you mix with water.

Hopefully my review was Helpful for you.

Cool little cleaner using ultra sonic vibration.
Easy to operate, just need water- a bit of detergent also helps.
Good simple front display for counting of present timers.
It does bring back those whine and sparkle.
Those cleaning of same items that require toothbrush, can be easily done by this cleaner, reaching those nasty thine gaps and holes. – rings, watches, necklaces, bracelets and also mouth guard. Comes with handy mesh holders and baskets.
Good price at just over 40 with voucher for the 600ml.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSo… I was amazed seeing the clouds of grime coming off my jewellery and glasses when I first got this. It didn’t immediately get rid of all the dirt, but pretty much all of it was at least loosened so a quick swipe with the provided brush removed the rest. Everything came up to a high glossy shine and the grime stayed in the water, floating on the top (grim).
I do wish it was easier to empty the thing as I had to unplug it a carry the whole thing with dirty water in to the sink to tip out (making sure I didn’t get water anywhere else on the device). Even if I could remove the power cable it would be a vast improvement. But it still worked very well and it’s a handy thing to have on hand if you wear a lot of jewellery or wear glasses or have little fiddly objects that get grimy often.

    Description:

This ultrasonic jewellery cleaner has a water capacity of 600 mls. The unit itself measures 20 cms in length by 11 cms high. Inside the box you will receive :-
    * 1 x Ultrasonic cleaner
    * 1 x Basket
    * 1 x watch holder
    * 1 x instructions
There are three buttons on the front, one to set the timer, one to switch the unit on and off and the other for the degas function. There are five preset cleaning cycles (90, 180, 300, 480 and 600 seconds).

    Testing:
I am a huge fan of sterling silver jewellery, but to me the only drawback to silver is the fact that it tarnishes. I had tried all kinds of remedies from cloths and jewellery holders impregnated with a substance to deter tarnish, through to various cleaners. I have had varying degrees of success with these products, so when this item became available, I was very keen to try it out.

I selected some of my silver jewellery ranging from gemstone rings through to a bracelet and silver chains. Each of the pieces had a degree of tarnish. I added some water to the tank, placed the pieces in the included basket and set the timer for 180 seconds. The unit gave off a low level buzzing sound. The timer counts down and then it switches off automatically.

I removed the items and then inspected them. I wasn’t quite satisfied with the results, so after reading the instructions, I added a few drops of household detergent (washing up liquid), and set it again for 180 seconds.

On removing them, I noticed a gemstone in the bottom of the cleaner. This had become dislodged from one of my rings. It was intact when placed in the cleaner, so I am not sure why the gem has come out, as it’s not a ring I have worn very often.

I removed the items again, and rinsed them under running water and dried them on a lint free cloth. The results revealed some evidence of success, particularly with the silver chains. There was still some tarnish evident on the bands of the rings. I have posted before and after photos so you can see for yourself.

    Verdict:
Although I am pleased with the ultrasonic cleaner, I was not blown away by the results. I was disappointed to find a gem had become loose in the cleaner, and the fact there was still visible tarnish. Having said that, there was an improvement, and I have only tried two cycles of 180 seconds each.

Would I buy one at the current price of 46.99 — probably not, but I will continue to experiment.

I cannot comment on the watch strap cleaner, as I have yet to try this function.

4.0 out of 5 stars Some improvement, but not as good as I had hoped

This machine comes with a basket for small items, a rack to mount watches on and an instruction manual.

The manual explains the working mechanism that ultrasound is used to generate pressure waves in the solution, alternating from low to high pressure. At low pressures, microscopic bubbles form and grow in a process called cavitation. When the pressure becomes high, the bubbles implode and release energy, which helps disperse dirt. The bubbles are small enough to invade all recesses and opening and can therefore reach areas that a scrubbing brush cannot reach. In addition, this particular model has a Degas feature, which is claimed to improve the cleaning effect. In this mode, it operates for 9 seconds and stops for 6 seconds throughout the cleaning cycle.

I was interested to see whether this cleaner would remove dirt from my Rolex Datejust’s stainless steel bracelet. During an official service, Rolex dismantle the watch and clean all of the components ultrasonically. The ZX895 comes with a special plastic arch which keeps the watch face above water whilst the cleaner sets to work on ingrained dirt in the bracelet. I added a couple of drops of Fairy liquid and put the watch through a standard cleaning and degas cycle. I was very pleased to see that the cleaner did a great job of removing dirt trapped in crevices within the watch strap.

My other watch is an Apple watch with a Nike strap. This has plenty of holes of ventilation during exercise but is very difficult to clean conventionally. I removed the strap from the watch, put the strap on a cleaning cycle for 280 seconds and it came out perfectly clean.

I was even more impressed by the results when cleaning my wife’s Invisalign plastic aligners. These are expensive, delicate and difficult to clean. The ZX895 did a great job of removing ingrained dirt, making the old aligners look like new.

I am really impressed by this product. It really does reach the parts where other cleaners cannot reach. It is easy to use. The instruction manual is well written and gives clear advice about dos and don’ts (such as using detergents with coated lenses). The manual is a little vague about the choice of detergents, just mentioning “household detergents”, with no recommendations about a particular solution. However, there is plenty of information available in the internet about specific solutions for ultrasonic cleaning depending upon which material is being cleaned and which stains are being removed. Amazon also stock a number of different ultrasonic cleaning solutions, most of which seem to be compatible with the ZX895.

I got my cleaner via the Vine program, and happily it worked well on my shaver head and my wife’s make up brushes. It was pretty simple to use, and we will progress to jewellery etc in due course. Would I pay 45 for it, maybe no

This ultrasonic cleaner has a 600ml water capacity and cleans virtually anything that’s waterproof.
It feels good quality and durable. The plastic is decent quality although the lid feels a little flimsy.
You can set the unit going for up to 600 seconds depending on how dirty the item is.
I use it for my sterling silver jewellery and my son uses it to clean his gaming controller buttons and parts.
This is a small one and so have a larger one that wasn’t much more but they both do the job very well.

I’ve used professional ultrasound cleaners before and this isn’t anything like that but it does work and does clean! It’s very useful for the home, I have cleaned jewellery, watches, watch straps and various tools. I use 5ml of common dish soap detergent and cold tap water and run a few cycles until my items are completely clean.
You can use an old toothbrush to gently brush off any stubborn caked in debris but I haven’t needed to do that so far.

This does a wonderful job on my jewels and watches, I rinse all cleaned items under running drinking water and then dry everything thoroughly with paper towels so that they don’t go rusty. This will protect them over the years even in a box. I wouldn’t bother with professional cleaning fluids unless you have a professional machine and know exactly what you are doing.
This unit is perfect for home use, easy to use, easy to clean and most of all, it actually works! Highly recommended and very good price for what you get.

I have always wanted one of these but not for cleaning jewellery more for small bike and car components, how good are they? well I gave it a tough job for it’s first run, one rather mucky bike chain, it fitted in the basket ok, so added water and some degreaser and set it to work, I tried the degas button first as that was said to give a better clean, 180sec with the degas stopping it every 9sec, at the end of the session I checked the chain and it was showing signs of looking clean, I gave it another 180sec at the normal setting and I was pleased with the results, although I think a little stronger solution in this case might have been better and given really good results.
What ever is cleaned in this will be a bit of trial and error in what solution to use, I have watched YouTube videos where one of these was used to clean rusty screws just using something like white vinegar.
This Ultrasonic cleaner does look more household than workshop, easy to operate, easy to clean and it works rather well for a small cleaner, probably better suited to jewellery etc but if it fits in the tank this will clean it I think.

Great cleaner perfect for cleaning my rings, necklaces and bracelets but can also be used on other items too like my son’s glasses, keys and even dentures.

It has a 600ml capacity and has 5 settings. It’s not a massive cleaner so can sit tucked away on the side until needed.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was so excited to try this.

Before ordering this, I was trying the silver jewellery cleaning hack on my necklaces and bracelets which turns out is an absolute mess…

Also, I was worried about the possible damage that Baking Soda and White Vinegar could do to my jewellery.

So I really needed something that didn’t look like I was setting up a Science lab in my kitchen.

This Sonic cleaner is not just for jewellery. It states that you can clean:
    Glasses
    Dentures
    Watches
    Old Coins
    ect…

This also doesn’t need any ‘special cleaning solution’ you can use water inside the sonic cleaner.
The instructions say that you add ‘detergent’ if items are heavily soiled.
It doesn’t elaborate on what it means by ‘detergent’?
    Washing up liquid?
    Sterilising solution or tablet?
I dont know? so I just used water to be on the safe side.

Really, I should of seperated all the charms on my bracelet for a proper clean, but because I wanted to try this out straight away I popped my whole bracelet into the basket.

It does have a warning that jewellery with loose ‘stones’ may become dislodged during the cleaning process but this didn’t happen to me. I was alittle conscious that most of my charms have stones set into them, but after the cleaning process I thoroughly checked the water and nothing had fallen out.

The bracelet looked visually cleaner and shinier on the surface, from its inital dull appearance before placing it in the sonic cleaner.
The water was cloudy, and once i dried the bracelet with the cloth provided it was undoubtedly cleaner and brighter.

I then placed my Silver ‘Diamond Cut’ Rope Chain into the cleaner, which I rarely remove.

The results are really good. I’m really pleased with this. It sparkles again like brand new.

The cleaner is not noisy, it sounds like a mobile phone ringing on vibrate, but probably not even as loud as that.

The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the ‘Degassing’ stage was confusing me.
I wasn’t sure it was doing anything while ‘Degassing’ …
but pressing the button and ‘SET’ it started off another 180 second cycle but with a slightly different pattern of vibration.

Eitherway, my jewellery is visually cleaner, which is the overall purpose of this machine.
