    – Dimensioni ridotte
    – Utilizzo senza installazioni elettriche

    CONTRO:
    – Durata limitata della batterie

    CONCLUSIONI:

These are just fantastic, no power needed and an easy install anywhere you need some extra light. They feel well made and work beautifully. We chose to mount these at the front of our garage, it is behind our property and has no power. These lights provide enough light to allow you to open and see to open the garage at night. They also provide a good security aspect lighting a dark space with the movement sensors. Over all a fantastic solutio

The HETP Solar Lights is a fantastic option for those looking to enhance the security and illumination of their outdoor spaces. With its motion sensor technology, super bright LEDs, and reliable solar-powered operation, this light set offers a convenient and energy-efficient solution.
One of the standout features of these solar lights is their high brightness and wide illumination range. With 164 LEDs and a 270 lighting angle, they provide ample light coverage for your yard, garage, garden, or any other outdoor area. The brightness is impressive, making it easy to navigate in the dark and adding an extra layer of security to your property.
The motion sensor feature is another notable aspect of these lights. The sensors are sensitive and responsive, detecting movement within a reasonable range. This means the lights will automatically turn on when someone approaches, adding an extra layer of security and acting as a deterrent for potential intruders. The motion sensor also helps conserve energy by ensuring the lights only activate when needed.

We’ve had a few lights of this type – but this model excels as it has side lights too, increasing the light output/ range a lot. We used this one to replace an existing unit at the end of our driveway.

Anyway, this light is a great replacement… it works a treat, and is actually far brighter than the previous unit.

It throws out light perfectly at the right times when motion is detected, and the charge – even on low light days – is enough to make sure that it’s ready for every night at dark.

There are some different settings available, but to be honest we just use the Auto setting which means it only comes on with motion, in the dark, which is fine for our needs.

    Thumbs up!

If I was looking for one criticism of this light it would be that it is so bright, remarkably so for a solar light, that it is positively dazzling on the gate post where I have it. A little work with an improvised shade to prevent dazzling us as we reverse cars into the drive was needed.

But that “criticism” aside there is almost nothing to fault on this. It is trivial to install, works on a PIR so it isn’t on all night, it’s small and doesn’t get in the way. As I wrote this I was thinking if there was anything I would criticise and the answer is no.

These are portable solar powered lights. They could be used for security lighting, but the light output whilst bright, does not cover a very large area.

The solar functionality seems to be working fine, and they seem to retain enough charge during the day to be able to work during the night as needed.

They were very easy to install, I used a simple screw in the wall and then hung them from it.

I’m happy with these so far and they give some nice ambient lighting to the side passageway in my house, I just have to ensure that they do get sufficient direct sunlight during the day to be able to charge up fully.

I found it a bit small when I first look at it and thought won’t be enough for my back garden but it proved me wrong.
It brightens up my garden in a few seconds. I put it on the motion sensor mode so whenever I enter my garden or any cat it turns on quickly. But you can choose other modes too. If you want it to switch off or if you want it to be on all the time you can choose.
Easy to put it on the wall screws that come with it.

This solar light is very good. I wanted one for our back yard space outside the conservatory where we put our extra bin so that we can take stuff out the back when its darker and it works perfectly!

We have another that lights up as we go out of the conservatory but I waited until that one had gone out and this one lit up when I was about 4 metres away. I waited until the other one had gone out before taking the photos showing how much it lights up — a very good amount.

It’s position catches about the morning sun and a bit of the afternoon and I’ve had it up now for about 2-3 weeks and so far (even with duller days in between) we have been using it at least once every 2 evenings and it’s worked a treat. The battery and charging does seem very good and perhaps that is why it is a bit more expensive than some others I’ve seen.

This was a single order so it would be 12.99 for 1 (at the time of review) – the 4 pack is much better value for money. I’m not sure if it’s just because it’s new that it’s lasting so well – but it does seem to be performing a bit better than some other cheaper ones I have (for keeping charge/charging and for brightness and responsiveness to motion detection).

I’m pretty happy with this and it certainly makes putting our rubbish out the back more comfortable in the nice bright light. Thank you 🙂

    HETP solar lamp
This lamp comes packaged in a colorful cardboard box and in the box we find: the LED lamp, which comes with a few screws and dowels, so that it can be mounted on the wall or fence, plus the user manual. There is no self-adhesive backing like other similar products have.
This 4-part lamp has a solar panel on top, and has a total of 164 LEDs and a good range of lighting. It has 3 lighting modes. They have a motion sensor and automatically turn on at maximum light. This lamp of lights also has a mode where they will stay on continuously throughout the night. I use them in the first way, on the sensor, which turns on automatically when I go out into the garden. Happy with the product, it does the job well.

Instalation is easy. They do include screws and wall plugs but there are a couple of mounting points so you can easily use wire or cable ties to attach them to gates, railings or decorative walls.

When mounted just leave to charge in the sun. There are 3 nodes, medium light all night, bright light from sensor only, or medium light with bright light sensor. Just press the button on the front. This does cover a wide area and is sensitive so make sure you don’t have any plants that can wobble in the breeze and trigger it.

So far, so good. Good quality and value.

Dead simple to use, put them up and let the sun do the work. They are very bright. The motion sensors work as expected, there are 2 settings where you can have them on constant which is less bright, but still bright enough, or they come on when motion is detected.

These HETP Solar LED Motion-Sensor Security Lights have so far performed entirely satisfactorily in terms of solar charging, responsiveness to controls & perceptiveness of motion detection.

However, on receipt I was surprised by their small size, which, in my opinion, is falsified in the pictures displayed in the advertising they have displayed on the Amazon website. For instance, the 3rd picture shows one of the lights above a front door – the light is shown as about half the width of the door(!) &, in the 6th picture, a hand covers maybe 90% of the width of one light … the length from the heel of my hand to my middle finger is roughly 19 cm, so that might indicate that the light is roughly 21cm wide. Admittedly, the “Product dimensions” are shown as “13.1L x 5.1W x 9.6H centimetres”, which I must have failed to look at critically, having been persuaded by the pictures.

Given the small size, & consequently limited light output, of these HETP Solar Lights, purchase of 3 of them for the current price of 33.95 seems to represent poor value, when 4 lights, of roughly similar appearance & function, but about 40% larger & consequently more powerful, cost little more (& less than a set of 4 of these smaller HETP lights).

Despite the claims for the HETP lights of “Brighter” & “Wider Lighting”, I was slightly disappointed with the light output, resulting from the smaller than expected array of LEDs, as compared to bigger, similarly designed light units. Also, despite the touted “IP65 waterproof rating”, which I hope is truly justified in terms of rainwater being excluded from the inner workings of these lamps, I observe that, after only a few days outside, the silvery/chrome(?) finish of the heads of the screws on the back of the lights is already tarnished with corrosion.

To be fair, though, I earlier got a set of 4 of the apparently-more- economic larger, more powerful Solar LED Motion-Sensor Security Lights to which I refer above, which also claimed to be IP65, &, not only did the screws on the back of them rapidly corrode, but they also let in rainwater, showing as heavy condensation in 3, but a puddle of water in the bottom of the other, discolouring the LEDs.

So, if these HETP lights continue to resist the ingress of rainwater, I might in time become more satisfied with them.

The HETP Solar Light is a neat and quite small device, which comes with a couple of screws and wall plugs, plus the User Manual. Mine arrived with plenty of charge in the unit so I was able to test it quite quickly after receiving the product.

Along the top ridge of the light are two small screw holes and this is the only method of fixing. There isn’t any self-adhesive backing etc. According to the product specificaton there’s a 1500mAh rechargeable battery built in which should be sufficient for the lamp’s operation provided there has been some sunshine during the day. Placement of these type of devices is quite important and the ideal location is where the amount of daytime sunlight is going to be the strongest.

Typically I would expect three or four modes of operation for this type of product. The HETP has just two. That’s fine though as I think the two modes are all that’s usually required. Next to the motion sensing lens is a flat rubber press-button and this button is all you need to use to set the modes. There’s an ‘OFF’ postion which means the lamp will not turn on. The next press sets a mode where the motion sensor comes into play. Basically, if the presence of a person (or animal if large enough) is picked up by the sensor it will trigger the lamp to illuminate at its brighest level (and that is very bright indeed). After a short time the lamp will turn off and won’t come on again until it is next triggered by the presence of a person. The next press sets a mode whereby the lamp will come on when the evening darkness arrives and in this mode the lamp uses a less bright output. The lamp isn’t triggered by persons, and the lamp will stay on continuously until the battery drains its charge (the manufacturer suggests this can last up to about 5hrs if sufficient sunlight has been available during the day to fully charge the battery). Although this ‘constant’ mode is less bright I think it delivers plenty of illumination for the immediate area.

As typical with this type of lamp there’s a bank of LEDs facing forwards – but additionally there are two side-angled panels, each with 18 LEDs that spread the illumination wider. I like that slightly unusual design.

The product sells for just under 13, which is not bad. You can obtain the lamps at a price cheaper per unit if you purchase one of HETP multi-packs.

Excellent solar lights. I have a few of these units around the outside of the house now and these ones are just as good as the others. They are very easy to install, have good detection with inbuilt PIR Sensor and light up the area well with a good spread of light. There is 3 modes and I generally just use the mode 1 where they light up if they detect any movement. The lights are quite small and discreet which is why I like them, plus the easy installation makes it so simple to have them up and running in no time. Recommended.

This solar security light is an amazing addition to my home’s outdoor lighting system.
The super bright 270 illumination range is truly remarkable, as it effectively lights up my entire yard and driveway. The motion sensor feature is also a great addition, as it detects movement within a range of up to 26 feet, turning on the lights and deterring any unwanted visitors.
The solar-powered feature is a huge plus, as it eliminates the need for any wiring or electricity, making it not only eco-friendly but also cost-effective. The 1500mAh battery ensures that the lights stay on for a long time, even on days with less sunlight.
The IP65 waterproof rating is also a great feature, as it means the lights can withstand harsh weather conditions such as heavy rain, snow, and extreme temperatures, making it a great choice for outdoor use.
Installation of the lights was also quick and easy, with no special tools required. The set comes with two lights, making it an even greater value for money.

These small solar powered light are supplied in a branded box with instructions, screws and plugs. This is a review of the pack of three but other options are available including single units. They are ideal for dark corners as long as they get the sun during the day to recharge the solar powered batteries.

They store energy in batteries during the daylight hours via a top mounted solar panel and use the power to power the light when it gets dark. The light goes on when it detects movement and it works well without being oversensitive. They provide a good spread of light with 3 sides of illumination and 270 wide-angle lighting spread.

They need no external power to work and just need to be fixed using the screws provided and can be used almost anywhere so long as there is light during the daytime. I have ordered mine to fix to a fence illuminating a path. They offer two modes of operation, either; off until activated by motion when they come on at full illumination or constant light at a reduced brightness after the hours of darkness.

They are good value at less than 34 for three however the dual pack is even better value as is the quad pack so check prices before ordering.

If you like your lights to be on low at night and then spring into full brightness when motion is detected, then steer clear if these as they don’t have that mode. I have used in combination with one on constant low and the other 2 off until motion detected. That is working well as they are quite small and quite bright on full. 3 year warranty is impressive as I find these often fail after a couple of years.

The solar security lights work well, it’s a bit weak on brightness but this could be due to the last few days being overcast, you can place the solar panel where it can reach more sun light to fully charge the LED’s battery, so this can be used to light up a shed, a walkway or somewhere that’s a dark area.

First and foremost I found this light to be on the smaller side; which is fair enough. I wasn’t too keen that it only had 2 light functions, ie switch on when motion sensed, or constant dimmed light; which is said to last around 5 hours.

I normally like my solar lights to have a third function which is dimmed light; but when there is motion sensed, it comes on bright; which this solar light didn’t have.

Nonetheless I have used it, in it’s dimmed function in my driveway. However, it’s not something I would buy again as I prefer the function where it’s dimmed and comes on bright when motion is sensed.

The light is nice and bright on it’s brightest function; however a little on the small side.

These are slightly different from other solar-powered security lights I have tested and whilst they will do the job I have in mind perfectly, they are a bit more basic than some so worth checking against your requirements. This is a pack of three lights with all mounting hardware included, they are of the standard style to be mounted against a wall with solar panel on top, so you need to make sure they are placed where they can charge during the day. They are very bright with 164 LEDs and a good range of illumination. They do, however only have two modes. In the first mode, they are off until activated by motion when they come on at full illumination. For the other option, they will stay on steadily in dark conditions at medium brightness. 8 hours of sunlight should be enough to keep them illuminated in mode 2 throughout the night, but I will be using them in mode 1. They are currently priced at 31.95 which is in keeping with similar lights I have tested, although those have come as individual lights and cost about a tenner, so no discount for buying a pack of 3, though there is a 3 year warranty with these to offer peace of mind.

EDIT: I have since received a single one of these lights to review. These are individually priced at 12.95 at time of review so you do save a bit by buying them in the multipack. Other comments stand, these are fairly standard solar-powered security lights with a good level of brightness that will do the job they are designed for perfectly well.

I got these to go along my Mums little garden fence for when she takes her dog out for his walk at night – her path is so dark, it’s quite dangerous for her.
There are 3 lights in this set, and they are quite small and light. You do get the screws to go with them but we’ve just tied them to the fence using the screw loops and some wire so the neighbour can’t complain 🙂
There’s no wires at all, just the solar panel on the top and a button – there are 3 modes – off completely, on permanently and motion sensor mode.
If they’re switched on to the permanent mode, they only come on at dusk but stay on until the battery dies or it gets light again.
If it’s switched to motion sensor mode, they come on when you get within a few metres and stay on for about 30 seconds then go off until they are activated again.
The amount of light these throw off is great – much better than I expected for a small light and easily enough for her to see where she’s going. The charge seems to last all night so far, we’ve only tried them for a couple of days….
    So far, so good.
