I lost my binoculars that cost me 150.00 I use them to identify far away birds. I am a wildlife photographer so don’t need expensive binoculars as I have very expensive cameras and lenses. These binoculars cost me 22.00 and I can honestly say the quality is far Better than the 150.00 binoculars I have lost. Great value product.

I thought these were good. You can see quite a long way, quite clearly. So you can see someone and what they’re, doing but you can’t always tell which facial expression they have at a particular moment. They’re not too heavy to carry. The strap for the case is a bit short I found.
I wear glasses nd unfortunately, even though these have a bit you can pull out to not have your glasses bump into the glass of the lens, you still can’t sit correctly comfortably using them for long periods. Smudging happened on my eyeglasses.
I managed to work out how to use the phone attachment but you can only see a small area with a big black border. Interesting idea though. All in all, they were good

For the price, they do a great job, easy to set the focus point and adequate magnification.
While it is a bit of a gimmick, I did have some fun with the attachment for the phone that allows you to (try) and take pictures through the binocular lens.
Results will vary to say the least, but a nice extra.

Good for the price I paid. Not a fanatical bird watcher (don’t know anything abut it) however I do like to view them when they come into the garden to feed, I’ve found them to be good for that purpose. Tried using the smart phone attachment but didn’t find it satisfactory. No real complaints good for the money and occasional use

These binoculars were much better than I was expecting for the price I paid. They’re lightweight, easy to operate and I particularly liked how the lens protectors worked (you couldn’t lose them). Overall very satisfied. The one criticism I would have (hence only 4 stars) is that, in my opinion, the Smartphone adapter is just a useless gimmick and doesn’t provide a clear enough view of the object to be of any value. It’s like looking through a pipe.

If you want a pair of Binoculars for Walking, Sightseeing etc, that don’t break the bank, these are the pair for you. I cannot comment on the Smartphone adaptor because I would use my Canon Snapshot camera for this type of activity. Also think that some of the 1 and 2 Star reviews are unfair as they are expecting the quality of a several hundred Pounds/Dollars product.

    I’m delighted with my purchase!!

I bought these for the 9yo for his birthday. The day viewing is surprisingly excellent. As far as I’m aware he hasn’t broken them yet either. Good bright views. I may get myself some. Not too heavy but seem robust. Way better than the price would suggest. Recommended.

For the price, it’s difficult to fault these. I often forget my Olympus 8×40 DPS1’s, so I wanted a 2nd pair I could leave in my car, and not worry about extreme temperature or them getting a little knocked about. Olympus 8 x 40’s are of course in a different league, and significantly superior in every way, but they are also five times the price. If you only plan on buying once, spend more and get Olympus, Nikon, Canon, Pentax or some of the models recommended in the birding magazines. I give Four Stars because for less than 25, these are great for spares, for a one-off holiday or for the kids.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI am not going to be biased in my review.
This item is of good quality for the price you’re paying which means it is a good value for money. The phone bracket is a handy little tool to allow close ups when taking pictures. It is average sized so not massively huge or small. Versatile and clear magnification. Overall a good product for the money. I’d recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this for the smart phone stand but the stand was horrible. It didn’t really fit to the position of the lens so you will take images in wired angle.

But the binoculars themselves are in good quality, very lightweight. I am not expecting it to be in professional quality. You can still see things through the lens, not with the highest quality but good for it price.

Golden Review Award: 116 From Our UsersHaving read reviews and one in particular they are nowhere as described. I will keep them too much fuss to send them back. I did communicate with them twice and could not get a sensible answer…. gave up. Would not recommend purchase but are good enough as cheap purchase. See in depth reply below to seller from other buyer with great knowledge.
Does not correspond to the properties described!

Sorry, but I don’t have the slightest idea where all the top ratings come from.
    Not by me anyway!
Sure, you get what you pay for. And I wasn’t expecting the world with this under 40 glass either.
From the point of view of pure price/performance, I would place these binoculars in the middle of the field and actually award them three stars at first.

However, there are some things here that don’t fit!
And this includes, among other things, that customers are duped with incorrect technical information and seduced into making a purchase.
Why I say this, now read for yourself…

I have much higher-priced binoculars in my inventory, but as the reviews are extremely good in terms of number and amount, I wanted to know what is behind this product. So I ordered a glass accordingly.

As expected, the practical test was not really good. The optical imaging performance is a real horror!

In fact, this is a classic waste of resources.
Normally, it should be prohibited to produce such products.
Which is why I decided to remove this article from the economic cycle,
not to send it back but to keep it and, to get to the bottom of the matter, to disassemble it!

In direct comparison with several of my other 12×42 glasses, the magnification of this product is definitely not 12!
First estimated, and then determined technical/computationally, I
came up with a factor around 10 (+/-). So here is the first inconsistency.

The second inconsistency relates to the statement FMC (Fully Multi Coated), i.e. fully multi-coated.
This is also not entirely true. The lenses of the exit eyepieces are only coated on one side.
The prism is completely untreated and the 42 light inlet lenses are also only treated on one side.
In addition, these vapor-deposited layers are not particularly durable. After gentle rubbing with a soft cotton cloth, this coating dissolves relatively quickly.

Point 3, and this is also a very important point for me, since the criterion of waterproofness and nitrogen filled, is intended to promote sales, is the naked fact that these binoculars cannot be waterproof at all from a purely constructive point of view!
There are no earrings to seal. Instead, sealing grease or sliding grease is used here. However, this is also not present at all relevant points to be sealed, which is why at most one type of splash protection can be assumed here.
The said nitrogen filling to prevent fogging may have originally been present in the factory, I don’t want to assume that at all, but due to the structural nature and the general leakiness of the glass, it can be assumed that the existing N2 inside the glass will evaporate within a very short time.
Due to the original price-performance rating of 3 stars, as well as the aforementioned lack of conditions and textures, this glass only gets one star from me!
For this article here, it should actually be possible not to distribute a star at all.

Here is an excerpt from my email answer:

Regarding your letter, I would like to share the following with you

    1. There are clear definitions of optical glass coatings.
The term FMC you use, i.e. fully multi coated, does not correspond to the fact here. In the best case, this could be referred to as MC, i.e. multi-coated.

    2. There are also clear definitions and rules regarding waterproofness.
Binoculars built in this way cannot be “waterproof” in this sense from a purely constructive point of view. If so, the most that can be said here is “splash-proof”.

    3. Since the construction of the binoculars is not tight/waterproof and there is always an automatic air exchange during the process of focusing, it is also not possible to prevent moisture from entering the device. Combined with the fact, as already stated by them in their enamel, that the binoculars are not filled with nitrogen, it is therefore not possible to prevent or rule out misting of the glass surfaces on the inner sides in the event of temperature fluctuations. Which is why her statement “fog-free” also doesn’t correspond to the fact.

    4. The magnification factor 12 you specified is definitely not true.
The actual factor is significantly smaller and is in the range around 10x (+/-).

    5. I will NOT accept their offer of an additional financial refund.
    — One should think about the last point in
    particular.
    But I won’t be bought!

    UPDATE:
Kylietech contacted me about the German gentlemans review which was dated a while back. They informed me that the problems had been resolved now. The pair I have are working OK with no problems. I must admit I did not read the date of his review which I should have done. I thank Kylietech for their response.
