Really accurate scale and super value for money.
Gets down to 2 decimal places, really useful when measuring baby formula, amongst other things
arrived quickly (the amazon drivers are always polite) i bought this for my daughters hobby to weight gold for jewellery i can’t ad any thing else apart from the batteries came with i
Portable.
Back lit LCD.
Weight limit 0.5kg.
Minimum weight 0.01g.
2x AAA batteries included.
Accurate scales Mini and take up space, great for weighing spices and Herbs, I used this scales to weigh out a full recipe for Victoria sponge cake
These seem to be very accurate and great for weighting smaller stuff
Good value set with a nice box battery will last for ages simple to use and you can change the settings for different weights
This electronic scale was advertised as having batteries included, disappointingly there were non included either in the box nor in the scales themselves. The battery cover was a little stiff and fiddly to open the first time but after that it seemed to open and close fine.
The plastic on the lid and surround feels a bit cheap but then it did only have a price point of 6.99 at the time of ordering.
The scales are easy to operate and seem to be quite accurate. I weighed things on some accurate manual scales and then weighed them on the electronic ones and and everything thing was within 0.1 or 0.2g so pretty good really especially for the price, handy for weighing herbs and spices but obviously you need to weigh a small container first and set the scales and then weigh your herbs as not practical to weigh loose herb and spices lose on a flat scale.
I did find that the instructions page had one or two spelling mistakes but they don’t stop you from understanding the instructions.
Although this scale feels a little cheap it appears to be pretty accurate and for the price I feel it’s fairly good value for money.
Decent scales but not the top quality.
Little hard to open the lid but does the weighting as it should .
I would have liked a calibration weight included, but you do much the same with tap water. 1ml of water should weight 1g. Using a syringe and tar-ring the scales with a container on board I was able to confirm that 25ml of water measure at 25g. That’s fairly impressive at this price point.
A useful bit of a kit to weigh out micro amounts for accuracy. Especially useful for science when needing to weigh out specific tiny amounts of chemicals.
I ordered this as a small set of scales for weighing coffee in small quantities. It is really easy to open and switch on. The functions are straight forward and well labelled. The screen is very easy to read too. Small and compact, so stores anywhere easily. Supplied with2 x AAA batteries. (USB cable in photo just to show display working – it is not USB rechargeable.)
Neat little device with a stated precision of 0.01 g – that’s a hundredth of a gram!
Its lid forms a protective case. Runs off 2 x AAA batteries and basic non-alkaline ones are provided.
It can be calibrated against standard known weights if you have such things (which I do not) but comparing it with accurate digital kitchen scales it is in good agreement over the 0-500g range and I’m sure that this is the more accurate.
I tried adding tiny known amounts of water using a 1ml syringe, 0.1ml of water weighing 0.1g and can confirm that the weight accurately increased. Each drop (no needle used) was 0.03g to 0.04g and every added 0.1ml of water increased the weight by 0.09 to 0.11g. The full 1ml weighed 1.03g, the difference probably related to the accuracy of the plastic syringe markings and my eyesight. Repeated with tare weights of about 45g, 110g, 260g and 420g with almost identical results, so precision maintained across the range.
As regards use, this is designed for weighing exact amounts of valuable stuff like precious metals or perhaps chemicals for scientific purposes. It could be used as a kitchen scale but the small platform size (65x75mm) would really not be that suitable.
I think it’s amazing that such a weighing machine, almost certainly accurate and definitely precise, can be got for under 7. No hesitation in giving it 5 stars.
I have tested this with weights and it was very accurate. So there is nothing bad to say about these scales, they are small and compact and function well as expected.
It’s a good scale, small and light, the light on the display is bright and the measurements are always correct.
It seems to be made with good quality material and does what it has to do without any problems.
6.99 for this set of digital scales is a bargain! They even come with a pair of AAA batteries (how often does that happen?!).
The accuracy seems decent, I weighed a few pieces of jewellery on these and they seem to be consistent in their weighing. The scales are lightweight and easy to travel with in the black plastic case. Very pleased.
At around 7 this digital scale is good value. It performs well enough for me. I like to use it with jewellery items to get an idea of the weight.
When it first arrived i tested it with coins, i searched online to see how much they should weigh and how much these scales said they weighed. I did notice that this scale did give slightly different readings even for the very same coin HOWEVER it was never far off at all, no more than approx 0.3g at a time, sometimes less and sometimes bang on. Bear in mind that i was using this straight out the box and therefore if i was to callibrate it that it’s possible the accuracy would improve.
So whilst these scales give a decent reading straight out the box if ultimate accuracy is what you’re after i would suggest looking elsewhere and maybe paying a bit more for something very reliable.
I like this pocket size scale . I ordered it for my gold jewellery shop. It is accurate , reliable and small scale . It has digital style measurements . It is easy , understandable and give the measurements up till two decimal place . It can be use in herbal medicine shop or in kitchen for accuracy for small size catalysts. I like this scale .
This is a very small kitchen scale. Suitable for herbs, small baking ingredients etc. It’s accurate but needs a stable and straight surface.
It has various measuring units which is great. It arrives with the batteries included and the instructions written on the scale.
I didn’t realise how small it is so I’m not sure how practical it will be for us, but it works, it folds up and takes minimal space.
