This is the best watering wand I’ve ever had, and I’ve had quite a few. It’s perfect for hanging baskets as it’s got adjustable flow so it doesn’t wash the plants out with too water all at once. It’s also got a lock on trigger and adjustable head angle that makes life a whole lot easier when doing lots of baskets and pots.
I bought this to replace one id had 15 years!!! So pleased I stuck with hozelock again, superior to last one, angle head and selection of sprays. I have some limited mobility, so reaching high and placing head right into soil in pots means a perfect job. Can’t fault, don’t look for cheaper alternatives.

Bought for an elderly lady, this hose lance is great at enabling her to water plants at their base without having to lean down. Also makes it easy to reach the back of her flowerbeds. She’s very happy and likes all the different rose options to adjust the waterflow.

Really handy for my baskets high up. I’ve had a couple of these lance sprinklers from cheaper brands but always had problems with leaking at the connector. This product doesn’t have this problem so very happy do far Also much cheaper than I’ve seen in the shops so a great buy

Had two of these now. In both cases the trigger handle broke after a few years. The lance works great when it works but I suspect the plastic weakens with age and/or after a few knocks and it breaks. The trigger detaches during use causing two springs and a valve to fly out along with a strong spray of water right up your shirt sleeve!
Rather than buy a third one, I’m just going to duck-tape the parts back together such that it is always on.
Update: The lance was still in warranty so I contacted Hozelock support (Chloe) who was great and sent out a new trigger mechanism. Added one star due to this.
Works really well, no leaking. Handy button to lock the flow so you don’t have to hold the trigger the whole time. Excellent system to adjust the flow rate from very gentle for delicate plants to full force for maximum coverage. The various spray patterns are all useful. Very pleased with this lance despite it being poorly packaged, well, not packaged at all. Thankfully it survived the postal system relatively unscathed.
This spray lance was used in the garden for watering plants. It is very handy to have the rotating spray head for various different spray patterns. Also the length is good for reaching high or across other plants.
This is the second one I bought as the first had a broken trigger bar after about 3 years use.
It is good for what is needed but like so many other reviews, the leaking problem seems to be common. I havent looked into checking the connections in detail as the leaking is more annoying rather than affecting the performance.
Time will tell.
Had a cheaper brand that I used with the Hozelock wall mounted hose but it constantly leaked around the connection. Decided to buy the matching spray lance and it’s a perfect fit, no annoying leaks around the connector, definitely worth the extra few quid.

Second one of these, they work ok with a good range of stray patterns but are a bit fragile around the all plastic trigger area. but for the price compared to others which are in the main are still plastic, not a bad buy.
As I expected from Hozelock it appears to be well built and easy to use. Found it handy cleaning the sills and wheels of my car without bending. Just one small criticism the fan mode could have been designed to allow the flow of water a little stronger.
Bought it to replace an older one that broke after being left out in the rain and the spring and mechanism broke. I wanted a replacement because it’s a good product to water the flower beds without over-stretching. Good range of spray patterns, powerful at full throttle.
I always like to buy quality whenever possible and so I went for this. Although I am not disappointed, I am not thrilled either. It does its job well and has different spray patterns, which makes it quite versatile, however, it has sprung a bit of a leak where it needs tightening – although I keep tightening it, it does loosen after a few uses. That said, I use it every day and apart from the small irritation with the loose fitting, I am happy to say I enjoy using this one.
its easy to change the settings and they are quite different and serve their purpose. i don’t need to get the jet washer out as much as i use the strong jet to clean the patio mostly. i also like the gentle mist for smaller plants and seedlings. and the tap setting is good for filling watering cans and puddling planting holes for planting out new plants. obviously its good with hanging baskets which was the main reason for buying it but its got so many more uses over the years
