Great hose. Exactly what I needed for my stables. The tap is a long way from the yard and this is perfect. Has literally changed my life. Good sturdy hose, easy to manouver and does everything I need it to from washing down the horses to filling the water buckets. Also perfect for my garden.
Works well, no complaints in that department, but it’s a pain when rewinding the hose back on the reel as the sides of the reel are not tall enough (which is why I only gave 4 stars instead of 5).
The suggestion that the reel takes up to 60m of hose is laughable.
I don’t really need all 50m, so I might cut off 10m of hose to make rewinding easier.
I’ve been using collapsible hoses for the last few years but they only last about 18 months before holes appear. I decided to bite the bullet and buy a quality hose. I have not been disappointed. The water pressure at the nozzle is greater than what I used to get with the collapsible hose. It does a good job of not getting kinks that prevent the water flow. It costs more than the collapsible hoses but I think it’s worth it.
Needed a long hose to reach the end of the garden. This does the job. NB: fittings are stored inside the reel itself. No.note to say that which meant I sent product back as thought parts were missing.
Things come in good condition and nothing missed. But the connection hoses are hidden at the innermost of reel under the 60m-hose. And the hose was so tangled and hoze end hidden at the centre – I needed to dismount the whole cart to take the hose out and reassemble the whole thing to use.
The packaging method shall be improved – just stick the connectors and the hose end at outside of reel!
Hose is perfect does not kink. Item came fully assembled and ready to use just needed to unwind where the end attachments and spray gun was secured and attached to the end. I did not need to have to cut a piece of to make it attach to the tap as I just used a bit of our old hose pip. But if needed to I am sure it will cut with ease.
Great product and well made
Having contacted the manufacturer, I purchased the ultramax coil on the cart. I was assured that it would arrive with all the necessary fittings. It didn’t, only the spray nozzle.-hence the one star less rating. I contacted Amazon and they were very generous, and supplied me with the missing parts. Overall, it is a fine product and looks sturdy enough.
