This is a perfect sized screen for someone who doesn’t have much space and wants to keep their desk clear. It’s super slimline, has a good quality screen and is far better than using the screen on a laptop.

Installed in minutes. However although picture further down page showed buttons to adjust there were none. Having to go to HP then MS to download and app was tedious ( we have not all got good signal) however it made me realise why my 13 year old HP one was a bit retro. Once adjusted it is fine, being able to soften screen was good for eyes and large screen good for letters. The app is hard work. I recommend you only buy a monitor with manual controls.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have tried other makes, but HP products don’t let me down. The quality of this monitor is outstanding, very good picture. The construction is easy to do, and adjustable. I have several of these in a row and find the consistency of the product is a key factor in assisting in working across multiple screens, on different docs.

As much as i loved this monitor for the first few days of having it, it stopped working very soon.

It had a great display and caused no issues when connecting to my laptop, I used it for work and for watching and gaming.

However it started to to flicker on and off when i turned it on, not letting me do anything to stop it so i had to unplug the monitor from its power. I tried leaving it for a few days hoping the issue would resolve it self and tried everything i could find online to help.

No luck, so i was going to get a replacement which was unfortunately no longer available and just had to return the monitor. Waiting for it to come back in stock so i can buy again and hopefully not have any issues this time.

I would also upload a video of the product but i never took one before returning it. Sorry.

    EDIT:

I have just reordered a new one. Hoping it doesn’t stop working again as i really like the monitor. (Bonus is i’ve got it for cheaper due to the PRIME DAY!)

    UPDATE:

i have been using it constantly since it arrived and it has been absolutely perfect. i will say i do get nervous each time i turn it on but that’s not a problem, regardless it’s perfect for working from home and then switching out for gaming or chilling and watching. really happy that it hasn’t stopped working and i absolutely love it!!

This is perfect for my needs. The on/ off button isn’t easy to locate but I’ve got used to the position now. Very slim and unobtrusive for such a size

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought it for my home office. It does the job just fine. Its larger than the one I used before, so perfect for presentations and working with spreadsheets. I like the bright and crisp colours. Also, it is very slim and does not take too much space, which is perfect if you have limited desk space available! Very happy with my purchase!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’ve just received this monitor. Set-up was trickier than I think it should have been, primarily because there were no set-up instructions in Englsih. There were instructions in a lot of other languages plus a set of diagrams which aren’t entirely clear. Now that I’ve finally got the monitor working it seems OK, but why do we have to be subjected to a puzzle-solving intelligence test just to make something we’ve bought work?

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFirst of all, I was slightly confused over the setting up of the monitor re Quick Setup,

I soon realised step B was an either / Or decision, anyway soon realised what was required.

Next issue, at first I couldn’t get the monitor to power up, am thinking where is the power on button?
So I thought to myself , I really don’t want to have to go the process of re-packing this and sending it back.

Then I thought will disconnect from my pc and just simply try and power it up on a kitchen work top.

What I discovered was that it is crucial to ensure that the HDMI cable is firmly pushed into the monitor HDMI connector and the same with the 13amp power lead, and then Voila the moniter sprang into life.

After that all was good, do make sure you download HP Display Centre as explained on the quick setup stage. Once you have done that it is far easier to configure the monitor to your desired settings re brightness and contrast etc.

All in all am very happy with my purchase.

The monitor colours and lighting are perfect full hd. The thin layer looks really cool. However , u cant adjust its height. But , u can always add an extra layer on the bottom.

This screen is great for my home office. We have two – one for each desk. Easy link up to laptops via an adaptor. The lovely slim design doesn’t add bulk to your streamlined workspace. Good value for money.

Excellent for office use. I found monitors with 1000R too curved and 3800R too flat. This 1500R monitor is just perfect for Excel and programming. Not sure about creative work or CAD I did not try those yet.
Picture quality is excellent and it’s great that it comes with the necessary cables.

It’s not bad, the quality of the image could be better to be jones but we use it for work and it really does the job, it is really good price. The screen it’s very beautiful

Nice design, really narrow which gives it a great look. Picture quality is good. I would buy again but know this model is no longer available. But having said that I would buy the upgraded version should I need another screen. Came nicely packaged, and on time. Thank you

Overall very happy with product, very nice monitor and perfect for my needs.
Unfortunately not so impressed with delivery, monitor was left in plain view on doorstep in the rain, in only manufacturers packaging, no protective / weatherproof bag or outer packaging. Driver did not use my Ring doorbell although I was at home and happened by chance to find it when I did.

Don’t really have any complaints about this. Easy to set up. Big clear screen. Looks very impressive on the desk and I like the silver colour very much. Hardly any border at all around the screen which is great.

We recently purchased this to extend our display and the picture quality is brilliant however the issue is we are unable to fix this monitor in our existing stand that we have, normally there is a slot which can be easily fixed on the wall or stand that we have but this monitor does not have this so its a pain but if that’s not what you need then this is a brilliant one

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGreat 4K monitor. Picture quality is great for movies/games/graphic and text/tables, all you need to do is change settings of pre-set colour pattern.
It works with Samsung Dex over USB-C cable (still upscaling fullHD to 4K, but still usable with keyboard and mouse connected over USB to the monitor).
A perfect match to any laptop (supporting 4K) with USB-C as there is only one cable needed on your desk to have it connected. Everything else including external speakers/headphones can be connected to the monitor over 3 USB ports and audio jack.
the only flaw is.. its not curved and with this size next year model will be 😉

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLet’s get my one small quibble out of the way: not one of the supposedly “high-speed” USB connections will charge my phone at high speed, or even normal speed. Which means they’re USB 2.0 or lower. That’s not a big deal, but given that they’re driven off the USB C connection, they should be better.

Other than that, I’m loving everything about this monitor. I was actually shopping for a whole new laptop that could drive dual external monitors for my home office. I’d have spent well more than twice what I paid for this, plus have to buy the second monitor. The total pixels I get (my system can’t drive it at the full 3440×1440) are less than I would have from two 1920×1200 monitors, but that’s more than compensated by the lack of a bezel between two monitors, identical display on both sides, and the curve. I’m finding it far easier to deal with multiple unmaximized windows on one display than windows that maximize to fill one of two monitors.

The stand is a beautiful piece of engineering in its own right. The User guide suggests you should “Reposition your monitor as you adjust your working posture throughout the work day”. With my dual monitor setup in my work office, this is simply not feasible (Allen keys are involved!). With this stand, everything is perfectly balanced and it’s easy to raise & lower, or move closer or further away.

The picture quality is good enough for me, although I have nothing to compare it with so I can’t really make a call. However, I wouldn’t have bought it had I known that it was not VESA compatible. I was torn between three monitors with similar specs and went for this one as it was slightly cheaper. Having to get an adaptor to mount it means that it will actually work out more expensive.

One of the best looking screens out there. I had the HP M27fwa which has similar looks but upgraded to the U27 for 4k and VESA support.
I bought it immediately when the price dropped by 100.
The VESA mount is included which is unusual and nice but the bracket is only held in place by a tiny plastic clip so I live in fear of the screen dislodging from the bracket.
    Downsides: only 1 HDM1 port, max 60Hz at 4K

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI opened the monitor yesterday and the cap, which sits in a slot on the back of the stand, was snapped in half. There was also a mark on the stand that makes me think that this item was perhaps a previous return.

Stand issues aside. The monitor would not connect wirelessly to my laptop and not sure if that was due to Windows 11. It connected fine with the HDMI lead. Today I added it a different way through Windows and the monitor paired. The screen is a good size and the picture quality is more than sufficient for what I need it for (work). Over wireless there is a very slight delay, but I think that is down to the amount of programmes that I am running at one time rather than the monitor. (Using an Huawei MateBook X Pro).

    Would still recommend.

4.0 out of 5 stars Wireless connectivity was not as straightforward as described

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThe display is great. It does its job greatly and it is also beautiful as a piece of furniture when shut down.

The only DOWNSIDE is the HEIGHT which is not optimal both for me and my partner (I’m quite tall, she’s “not tall”). When in perfectly vertical position, the lower edge is ~8cm far from the desk and the upper edge is ~38cm far from the desk. Buying a third-part stand is not easy because the monitor is NOT COMPATIBLE with the VESA standard.

Golden Review Award: 33 From Our UsersI know it’s a gaming monitor but honestly it’s amazing for working from home!

I tend to get migraines from screens but have not had one since buying this monitor. It doesn’t strain your eyes and you can adjust the brightness whilst still feeling great!

It’s a pretty big screen and is easy to set up, i’ve connected it to my work laptop so it was literally one wire. It’s the best investment I have made in my home office as I stare at a screen all day and feel fine! I also wear contact lenses and my eyes don’t dry out.

For all those less tech savvy people out there who need a screen for work, I can’t think of a better screen!

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersI wanted this monitor to use with photoshop and Lightroom for processing my images from a Canon DSLR. I also chose it for having a USBC outlet so I can use a single cable from my MacBook Pro for charging and video. The screen quality is excellent and the bezel is very slim – although the bottom of the screen has a larger bezel – which accommodates the connections. (at the back) and the on off and power management. The stand is lovely – very easy to set up and allow to move between Landscape and portrait with a simple turn on the screen. I haven’t given it 5 stars as the USBC connection was difficult to get going – for some reason my MacBook would charge but not display without a number of reboots. It also only outputs a maximum of 65W which is below the 90W recommended for the MacBook. However, I don’t seem to have had any power issues, although I haven’t yet done any power processing on 4k video. I cannot comment on gaming – as I don’t do any!

Golden Review Award: 50 From Our UsersThe monitor is excellent. I would have given it 5*.

But there is a general issue with 4K monitors I had not appreciated.

This 28″ monitor replaced a 27″ apple thunderbolt monitor of lesser resolution.

At 4K everything becomes tiny on screen and text, particularly below icons, is almost unreadable, even wearing my glasses made specifically for working on a monitor.

The only work around is to lower the resolution of the monitor in your computer settings. It’s cheaper just to buy a lower resolution monitor. It used to be possible to scale system text and icons, but no longer.

I think 4K would need at least a 32″ monitor, and more likely 36″ to really take advantage of the resolution.
