Very easy to assemble. Glvery good cut and fairly nimble for the size of it well happy with the grass cutter ,but the wife found it a tad big for her so I now have to cut the grass myself .

Huge machine, looks great. Easy to build, easy to get going. It’s a heavy beast but once you get used to the speed it’s so easy to control. Swivel front wheels are great. Electric start is a dream!
It is a lot of money but looks far superior than the stuff you can buy from garden centres and it has a Great Warranty!
Bad points:
For a machine this big I’d want a larger grass collector, 75ltrs could be increased to 125ltrs easily.
You need to check the grass collector, there’s no indication that the box is full. A visual marker or a clear lid would help.
Difficult to control on cambers, however the drive assist is great.
Great mower. The electric start works first time every time. With 4 4 speed motor control can now a slow pace or quick march. We have a hilly garden and this mower has made light work of it. Recommend for those who want an easier life
We have such a large garden this is just the best lawnmower we have ever brought just being able to turn because of the from wheels makes so much difference and the push start for me I can actually help out with the grass cutting.
This is a great mower. Swivel wheels make it easy to turn. One drawback is it is very heavy when pushing it to get to the grass because you cannot disengage the blades so it can self propel. Self start is a great feature and the cut is good.
It deals with my 1/2 acre+ gardens (almost twice over) on a single fill of fuel and has excellent power to keep going in long wet grass. The cut size is huge and the grass box is very big and doesn’t noticeably affect handling and power as it fills.
But there are a couple of small issues Hyundai should consider that would take this to “5 star plus”:
1/. Deadman’s handle and drive handle are sharp to the touch, they need softening in shape or covering
2/. Starter battery is feeble, 2 perhaps 3 starts at best, needs rethinking
3/. Swivel wheels can’t be locked and unlocked without stopping mower (see above for starter battery) which is just inconvenient
4/. You cannot fold down the handles for storage – the mower takes up a fair amount of space, therefore in sheds / garages!
5/. Get you going build instructions are useful only as fire-starter material. Luckily it’s pretty straightforward
Don’t be put off, this is an excellent mower, but do be prepared.
Addendum:
14 May, 3rd mow; Self Propelled unit has suddenly failed… The mower is unsurprisingly dead-heavy to push around with out the SP function! I suspect I know what the issues is, but this is a great opportunity to find out how good after sales support / warranty repairs are from the manufacturer.
Update:
16 May, manufacturer recommends for replacement direct from Amazon, but Amazon will only give a refund, and requires me to wait for them to receive it and check it, and then will they send money back… and only then can I re-order (I’m just not that rich to order a new one on the off-chance they refund me!!)
So, in summary, while I still say that the mower is good, the service levels behind it are not up to consumer standards that one would expect. Therefore, I must recommend…. go to a lawnmower shop and buy something you can touch before you part with cash!
What a shame!
Got this mower today. It was very quick and easy to assemble, the only tool required being a pozi screw driver. It starts so easily, even on the recoil instead of electric. The castors to the front make it easy to manoeuvre around trees and other obstacles. The multi speed drive is good, you go at the pace you want. Overall a great mower for the money.
Over the moon with this machine, really manoeuvrable due to the swivel front wheels, for such a large machine it is very easy to handle. Instructions for assembly can be accessed on their website, and these were simple to follow. Cup holder on the handle is a great idea! Also the hose attachment to clean the underside after use is inspired. Electric ignition is such a gamechanger after struggling with a pull start for many years.
The height can be adjusted with just one lever which makes it even easier to use.
Pros, Very good mower, easy start , with the steerable wheels on the front it’s a joy to use , drive is very good but don’t get to confident as sometimes you have to hang on , cuts well as I have a lot of grass. Best mower I have purchased. There’s one con. It’s quite heavy but what do you expect as engine could power a motor bike.
The assembly was easily done instruction was accurate. The Hyundai lawn mower is just what I needed ,cutting my grass was hard work but the Hyundai withe electric start and swivel wheels is fantastic effortlessly manoeuvreing around my garden. Thank you Hyundai
This is not a cheap lawnmower! but so far it has exceeded my expectations. It arrived in 48 hours, delivery people were helpful as it is a heavy item. It took me 20 minutes to assemble with the instructions. Engines rarely get transported with oil, so you have to fill it arrives, but the oil was in the box. Started first time and provides an amazing cut. I had recently laid a new lawn and was worried about damaging it but the cut is crisp and there are plenty of height options. I had to contact Hyundai because the battery start failed after a couple of cuts, but they were easy to talk to and sent me out a replacement battery within 48 hours.
Removing and replacing the grass box can be a bit fiddly. Instructions needed re: removing mulching plug. Not as straightforward as it could be -until you’ve done it! Care: quite thirsty at full throttle, especially these days. Will need to see how robust it is after a few months’ use, but so far, so good.
Brilliant for my 25ft by 36 ft garden it’s easy to assemble it’s fast at cutting it’s fun works best on Aspen 4 stroke fuel. I’m definitely going to order the matching strimme
The adjustable handle height is magic. My wife is short and I am very tall. Changing the handle height is a two person job, one to hold the handle and one to reposition the 2 securing bolts but it’s worth it.
My wife easily handles electric start and zero turn. I can cut the grass without getting back ache.
Having just received the mower it is difficult to give a comprehensive report, however so far so good. Very impressive mower. Was a bit sceptical about the castor wheels at front but having tested it they are a superb assistance to manoeuvrability. Assembled, oiled and fuelled without difficulty and charged the battery as per instructions. Machine started first time and ran sweet as a nut. Will add to this review as and when machine used in earnest. Very pleased so far though. Ordered and delivered in two days. Price not bad for such a capable 20″ machine. Marked down one star on weight as it is heavy. That said very minor feedback and not really an issue for me but could be for some.
Everything else is brilliant. The electric start is superb, haven’t tried the back up chord. The battery is readily accessible for charging and the light dutifully turns green when charged. Plugging on the hose connection was easy and the connector supplied has a snug fit.
The four speed cut and the manoeuvrability is great for when moving around trees and flower beds, you can literally with zero effort rotate on a penny.
You may have guessed I’m impressed, I wouldn’t touch my grass at this time of year usually, too wet, but the mulching vent allows cut without clogging too. Very powerful engine.
Update. I’ve had it a while now and I love it even more than when I was first trying to get used to it. The zero-turn feature is superb. I don’t worry about the grass bin now as I stopped collecting the grass and put the mulch panel in place. It does it so well you rarely see a trail of cut grass, seems to just about disintegrate what it cuts. I shall probably only use the bin when I need to top off a compost bin.
Just a superb bit of kit.
I did not like the fact that I could not use the product as soon as I unpacked it because the Free oil was not there. Also it is almost impossible to find out how to claim it.
Having owned many lawnmowers over the past half century, this one is by far the best. The ability to steer round trees and other obsticles, the electric start, and the almost self cleaning water system all work really well. used about five times so far to cut some very large lawns.
The lawnmower arrived as promised on time but I must say that to unpack the machine was very difficult and needed two people to lift it out of the box. The machine is very well made (just like their cars). The performance is first class, it is a wee bit noisy but it is not a big problem. Overall I am very pleased with the lawnmower.
I didn.t want a ride on mower as at 67 years of age I want to connect to the grass I’m cutting and the exercise is good for me too.
The HYM510SPEZ is just what I needed. assembly was straight forward and using it is simple. I cannot fault it, even having a drinks holder!!!!! Brilliant. I can’t give it enough praise.
