Having discarded more plastic containers than I would care to think about over the years it seemed time to invest in something more sustainable.
I ordered a pack of five to trial and was suitably impressed with the thickness of the glass and the extremely strong seal produced.
Immediately ordering another five is testament to the product.
Meal prep sorted, would look to the brand going forward.
These are lovely but expensive l think.
They do not keep cooked meat as well or for as long as my plastic ones though.
Ordered one size but got the next size down but they are OK we Ordered 19c -14c wegot 16c-10 c across the bottom
Good size, well sealed and the extra lid is a plus.
I use these dishes to freeze and recook batch cooking. Very good. I would definitely recommend them
I’ve had a house, various containers, but never like these. I have already ordered 2x because really solid containers. It does not leak, the size is just right for the portions, I recommend it to everyone, no one will regret it 🙂
Although bit pricey for the fragility, it was still a good purchase.
Gorgeous glass storage containers! Perfect portion size and glass makes it easy to see what’s left over and much more likely to use up food. Vent in lid makes reheating easy. Pop in dishwasher means super easy clean. Love them. Tidy fridge and no waste.
Wish I’d found these sooner. I’ve wasted so much money on plastic containers which stain as soon as you’ve used them particularly for tomato based meals. These are quality, made of glass, look good and really are a perfect portion size. I’ll be buying more and discarding the old anti-planet plastic.
Bought these for meal prepping and they worked brilliant, perfect portions and also just is full in general as regular food storage, can be microwaved and put in the oven, very easy to clean and stack, highly recommended
Only used a once or twice but leak proof, extremely sturdy and can be used in the microwave. Good size and hopefully helps me keep on track with my
Diet.
Works great as a container for the fridge and a lunchbox however, I wouldn’t put it in the microwave. The glass gets insanely hot and it’s a bit heavy to lift and poor. Better off using something else in the microwave. Otherwise, they work fine 🙂
So beforehand I had obtained these and gave a 3 Star rating on the basis one of my lids were broken but igluu got in touch the next day and offered too send a replacement which arrived the following week and as I said beforehand if they delivered on replacing a fualty item I’d happily change the review thanks very much igluu!
So we’ve had these for about 2 months now and use them every day. The lids let the product down way too flimsy and are not leak proof. Glassware is great, spaces offers really good portion sizes. I wouldn’t buy again because of the lids.
Been using these for a little while now and they work as advertised. Been trying to move away from plastic because of all the BPA stuff so I ordered these to store food instead of my old plastic tupperware. Price seems fare for something that works well and will last a long time. Would recommend.
The lids warp after a few weeks and the clips spring open. They do provide 2 spares but not great if you have 10.
I have other containers that dont do this.
I have been using these for lunch and food storage for about a month now and i cant fault them in there quality. My only bug bear is that i would of preferred a 1000ml size.
They are good containers, I had issues with plastic ones that would not close correctly or become stained. This has been much better. The only downside is if you ever accidently chip the glass even a little it is no longer functional and has to be binned
I bought these for batch cooking as a way to move from freezer to fridge to oven and they work well. I love that they come with multiple lids so that if one breaks you have spare. The glas is a nice thick heavy glass of good quality. The plastic top has a valve you can release pressure.
Only con from my perspective is the top is not dishwasher friendly, the bottom is though.
I bought these as I was tired of using plastic containers that stain easily. These are the perfect size for individual/double portions and easily fit in freezer. The lid has a vent which I don’t see any purpose in as I always cool food before freezing or putting in fridge. Note: it does say plastic lid can’t be put in microwave but I see someone else has by sitting it loosely on container. An extra lid is provided. Good value as I expect them to last a while . I probably wouldn’t use for lunches as they’re heavier than plastic containers to carry. All in all very pleased with purchase.
I really like that you can bake in these, lock a lid on, put them in the fridge or freezer, then reheat in the microwave or oven. You can feel the quality, the glass is very thick and strong.
The lids are made from solid plastic with locking clips on all four sides that seal tightly. They included a little air vent on top which I found helps getting the lid off when it’s suctioned onto the glass dish. Plus, the extra lid is a nice touch if you’re like me and always losing them!
