Cons
It’s quite weighted and bulky.
Fantastic power block , Excellent delivery , arrived earlier than expected . Fast charging for my iPhone also connects to my other products too. Very pleased with my purchase , wish I bought one sooner .
This was initially a good charger, was fine the first couple of re charges and then when charging the power bank back up I smelt burning! And the charging cable was red hot, thinking it was the cables I tried several more but they kept burning the second I put them in the power bank to charge it, stay clear.
UPDATE!! the company emailed me and have been really attentive, they sent me a brand new powerbank with 5 year warranty and refunded me the money also, hopefully no one will experience a bad purchase but if yo do, contact the seller and they will help you with no issues, they have been so good.
I also own the big 20000 model, but this was a godsend when I unexpectedly went into hospital, just shoved it in my pocket and kept my phone going. It fully charges my phone twice, or my phone and nearly fully charges my tablet. Overall, a great addition to anyone who uses phones or tablets. Just put into your pocket, its no bigger than my wallet.
Ordered yesterday because there are no charging points on the trains I commute on for 3hrs and watching movies on my tablet is essential for my sanity. The INIU power bank just got delivered a few minutes ago. So far I am impressed. It came with 83% charge. I wanted it for the charging port on my backpack. Easy to set up once instructions are read. I didn’t know which end of the cable to plug in my tablet, so I stopped being lazy and read the instructions. Now I can leave it in my backpack. Another bonus is a 3 year warranty. This came with a handy case.
First impressions of this device are really good as I thought it had everything. Cables, display of remaining capacity, portability and fast charging.
However, I have come to see it is not fast charging and there was no torch extra I saw in other reviews. This was part of my criteria as well as good reviews, genuine capacity and the remaining capacity and fast charging.
I thought the 3A charging may be good enough for some and whilst it isn’t slow charging it isn’t as quick as my other power bank.
I am disappointed after reading all the good reviews as it is a minefield trying to get all of the above criteria with good reviews and genuine capacity plus warranty period. See for yourself.
I’m wishing I had got one of their other devices now like possibly the 20000mah INUI with most features besides the cables.
I thought this offered the best value fur to cables but the lack of led torch was disappointing.I thought it was just one of those surprise bonuses some manufacturers put in as they seem to on other reviews.
If a torch doesn’t bother you and you are OK with slower charging then go for it as this has some of the better reviews out there. There are 3 charging speeds to my phone turbo, quick and normal and this is normal about 5-6 Watts on the side ports and a lot less via the middle port. So it isn’t triple 3A in other words. A far cry from the 15 Watts in other reviews.
Okzu was my other powerbank which is also decent and fast with good reviews.
Maybe it was just me skipping down to the reviews and not knowing lots about powerbank but quick charge definitely better for convenience.
Whether the company haven’t put the led torch in by accident or it isn’t included anymore I don’t know but feel it is less value and a bit disappointed with no quick charge.
I will update review after checking capacity but have seen videos where INUI were likely legitimate capacity on a YT video someone asks if powerbank companies are lying to you (although poor powerbanks get broken in that video somewhat dangerously). INIU were likely genuine.
I kind of wish I’d gone for higher spec/ capacity but at cost of less cables as I truly thought this had it all for OK price.
Update changed review to 4 stars due to great customer service. I shall try and test this item properly but it is aesthetically pleasing, small and light for a power bank.
With all of these items you either get small and light, or capacity and extra size. Energy needs to be stored somewhere and that takes space and has weight.
The ports feel good quality and the rubberised none slip is great too and whilst not fast charging in the middle, the outer ports are faster. It isn’t quick charging but not slow either and in fact probably a good speed for battery longevity.
Quick charging phones is a great feature but slower charging generates less heat and is better for devices batteries.
I am very impressed with Iniu as a company as customer service were great with me and reached out when I left this review which is good. They didn’t ask me to edit the review but I am doing so. I’d say this is the best looking powerbank I have as well as has the best ports, smooth satisfying and don’t feel cheap.
The cables are good to have as is the mesh case which is a nice touch for carrying with you so good portability. Thank you Iniu.
The INIU Power Bank is great for life on the go when your batteries on your devices fail you.
When the power bank is fully charged I get two 100% charges on my phone the power bank is quick to charge and come with various connection leads for electronic devices.
The battery indicator on the power bank is simple but beautiful you touch the front of the power bank on the sensor and it shows you what charge is left on it.
The power bank comes with a nice little mesh pouch with a drawstring.
The only downside to the power bank is that it does feel slightly heavy but if you have it a purse or back pack you probably wouldn’t notice the difference in weight.
All in all a great purchase and I would happily buy one again.
I bought this charger to take to Glastonbury which altogether is about 6 days, I unfortunately wasn’t impressed with the first model sent because it’s gave me around 1.25 chargers, however customer service have been great! They sent me a new charger which I believe has a higher voltage.
I received my new device the following day and they said I could keep the original. Very impressed with the after-sale team!
Would buy again!
I’ve tested this a few times and the reviews are being honest.
I got the version that came with a case instead of the torch attachment other reviews mention but I find it much more handy and protective.
Charge drain when not In use – (Pro!)
When not using the charged I’ve noticed it tends to lose very minimal charge if any which is nice, you don’t have to worry about picking it and it having no battery left.
Using phone while charging – (Con!)
I tried charging my phone with this while using it but noticed my phone charge either did not increase or did extremely slowly, both my phone and the pack got rather warm almost hot to the touch so I’d advise trying not to use your phone while charging, but this poses an issue for travelling if you want to use your phone.
Charging the power bank / time taken – (Pro/Con depending on time constraints)
The power bank takes an incredibly long time to charge. My pack reached around 48% when I decided to charge it. I plugged it into the wall socket and went out for the day. I can home around 5/6 hours later and the charged was at 99% so make sure to charge it plenty of time in advance.
How long the charger battery lasts / Fast Charge – (Pro for fast!)
The charger was at 86% when I charged my iPhone XR (32%) and left it on charge. Without using my phone it had charged to 100% within an hour so the fast charge is great but the battery pack already went down to 28%, so I can’t imagine it charging it twice fully. Pack also got quite warm again.
Quality for price –
I would say this is great price for the value, as long as your not needing to use your phone / tablet while charging as both get very hot. It charges quickly but for an iPhone XR I would say it charges it around 1 1/2 times if it isn’t on 0% that is. Will test further
Loved the free case and it is light enough to carry around with no issues, short wires can be annoying as you have to hold the pack against whatever is charging but it’s not too bulky
I was sat on the fence on whether I should purchase the INIU Powerbank Charger I am so glad I made the decision to purchase it. It is small in comparison to other Powerbanks I have purchased in the past and the length of the charging cable for my phone is just so perfect. What more can I say apart from 10 out of 10. I know that if I ever need to replace this one in the future I will definitely purchase this again and I will also be recommending this Powerbank Charger to friends and family. It is already saved to my wish list. Just to add to this review I had this INIU Powerbank Charger for about 6 hours only from when it was delivered to me and the charge is awesome it does not run out like my last one that was a completely different brand or make to this one the last one I had when it was on a full charge ran out power within about 2 hours the charge from from this trickles through nice and slow and the charger itself feels quite expensive and comes with instruction manual and a lovely string well made bag to carry it in and also alternative charging cabling depending on the make of the device you are looking to plug it into and it does not get hot it stays lovely and cool, It’s a really nice Powerbank I am sooo impressed. This is now the only Powerbank I will purchase in the future if I ever need another one not that I should it is very well made. Also on the front of the Powerbank to the right hand side to bring the amount of charge remaining just use any of your and just tap the fingerprint logo about two of three times it will then display the amount of power remaining. Love It. I hope this in depth review helps anyone looking to make this purchase.
I just want to exchange mine as it seems to be faulty. The reviews are otherwise excellent on here but mine doesn’t do what it should unfortunately. It doesn’t last long at all it drains and dies pretty quickly. Even at full capacity (100) it drains rapidly and just about makes it to about 50% on one iPhone. I have an iPhone 7plus. It’s meant to be able to charge 3 devices in one go but I suspect that will be impossible as it struggles to charge the one! It’s just a huge shame as it’s otherwise a nice little gadget. Lightweight, compact and comes with excellent accessories. Maybe I am doing something wrong? It seems impossible to get hold of anyone for help so I will have to return it.
**UPDATE** 29/03/2022
A wonderful lady who works for INIU, called Estelle, went out of her way to email me. I didn’t see her first email as it was put in my junk folder automatically; so she went out of her way to contact me again.
She was incredibly kind and helpful and apologised for the issues I was facing. I was offered a full refund or to try a different power bank (a more powerful one) and to keep the original. I accepted her offer and received the new power bank within a day
Safe to say the new power bank is excellent albeit slightly heavier than the original but that is no issue. I’ve had no problems with it and it seems to last so long and will charge my iPhone 7 Plus rapidly. It is sleek and excellent quality.
Highly recommend this brand and will use them again in the future! Thank you so much Estelle – you are a credit to INIU.
Used at camping as no charging available. It has a clear digital screen that shows 100% then goes down really quickly! It’s not as good as my Anker power banks but I thought this would be easier when out walking as it says on the description that it’s lighter and more compact!
I’m disappointed that it’s not able to do at least 2 full charges (2 phones) . It will do as a short term solution (for afternoon walk, taking photos). But I wouldn’t recommend it, unless you wanted to keep in a bag as a short time emergency (not sure how else to explain it). It does come with other adapters in its neat bag, that’s a good thing BUT it doesn’t hold a lot of power.
**update**
**The seller has been in touch and helped sort the issue out. Customer service was very good so I have added a further star.**
I purchased this not really having any high expectations, especially at the very low price point. However my aged Android phone, which I refuse to part with or upgrade, has an ever reducing battery charge so a power bank bacame a necessity.
Upon opening I was pleasantly surprised, the unit is far more compact and lightweight than the pictures would have you believe. The top third is a form of hard plastic or glass, I’m not sure which, and the lower two thirds are a rubberised material which makes for an ergonomic fir in the hand. The unit is well put together and feels pleasantly solid.
What impressed me was the choice of cables that came in the box, ranging from USB B, C, and lightning, as well as a handy USB powered light.
Rounding off the package was a handy mesh carry case and a three year warranty, which to me shows the confidence the manufacturer has in its product.
The small fold out instruction booklet, almost uniquely in my experience, is an absolute model of clarity. You shouldn’t be pleased to read a manual that is clear and concise with easy to follow steps written in straightforward language, as they all should adhere to this basic premise. Unfortunately few do, so to come across an instruction booklet that does actually instruct, is a real pleasure.
Charging itself is excellent, juicing my completely drained Android mobile to 100% in around 45 minutes, with still 80% power left shown on the power banks touch screen LCD screen, another nice touch
The design of the product means that your chosen charging cable can be stored inside the unit and when called upon to undertake charging duties, the flexible nature of the cable is such that both devices can be placed back to back, allowing the device being charged to still be used. Very handy.
Overall this is a little gem of a product. Something to buy and sling in the car, backpack, or the like.
Thoroughly recommended.
I think I speak for most when I say we the consumers can truly appreciate what most companies overlook and that’s something as simple as pure presentation , the way this product can packaged was simply excellent, not too much not too little truly makes you feel like you’ve spent your money properly, it’s light weight , includes all standard cables and an led light that doesn’t need to be there yet it’s an extra who says no to extras ? It has usb c technically 2 of them in the package, micro and your standard iPhone usb , mini carry bag for the power-bank , at first the mini bag doesn’t seem useful but the fact that you can literally see the battery percentage of the power bank through the bag with out having to remove it in the first place also adds the presentation, if there are any cons it would be battery life , but again I can’t complain for the price I’m being charged because it’s very affordable and useful for day to day activities it wasn’t designed to be be your main charger just something you could make use of day to day.
At first I was skeptic because of the price and so many features available felt unrealistic but now I’m am doing the best I can so everyone can know that it’s a excellent choice if your looking for a power bank in general.
Get it don’t forget to come thank me later!
I wanted to upload a video but the app caused some difficulty
Good quality Power Bank with a great selection of cable attachments to charge an array of technology and at a great price. I used this to charge my Samsung phone, my wireless earbuds, my sons iPhone and his PlayStation controller. I’ve charged my phone from 10% to 100% twice and still had 25% life left in the Power Bank. The one touch digital display is great for knowing when it is getting low so you can plan for when to recharge. You can also charge multiple things at the same time, this is great when you and the kids run out of battery at the same time. It also comes with a handy protective/carry pouch. In my opinion, this could do with being slightly bigger so you can carry the selection of cable attachments all in one place. That said, you can fit them in and it does not take anything away from its capability and sleek black design. Would definitely recommend this product to friends and family. With a 3 year extended warranty, INIU do have faith in their products and you can see why.
I have been looking for a compact power bank to run various “maker” projects that I work on. Having played with it it I can see it is going to be so much more useful than I had first thought.
The power bank has a very nice and clear capacity meter which lights up a a touch showing percentage capacity left. Whilst charging the lowest digit flashes. This is a very nice feature and much more useful than the usual LEDs on such devices.
The bank arrived 80% charged and after a quick top up it managed to charge my iPhone 5se four and a half times. It manages to charge my 10″ Samsung tablet twice from a full charge. Charging devices is fast and the INUI comes with leads for USBC, MicroUSB and Lightning – all work well. It also comes with a charging lead which is USB2 to USBC – this can also be used the other way round to power an additional USBC deice. The power bank took 3 hours for a full charge from flat using a Raspberry pi wall charger
As a stress test I set up the bank to run a Raspberry Pi 400 computer (known to be a tricky load) a portable monitor and charge my phone all at the same time. See the video. It worked flawlessly and ran this setup perfectly playing youtube videos for three hours fifteen minutes. Quite an achievement. This is fantastic for me as it gives me a portable coding development system for many of the projects I do.
At no point did the bank get even slightly warm.
The unit also comes with a nice plug in reading light and a carrying pouch – you get a lot for your money!
So in summary, a great power-bank at a great price.
I’ve had numerous power banks and they’ve all been ok but felt a bit industrial and clunky (most ultimately failing after a few moths). However, on receiving and unpacking the INIU product it’s clear to see that they are a step up in quality and aesthetics. The first thing to note is the packaging and what you get for your money (which is good value vs the stiff competition). Not only do you get the exquisite power bank but also 3 mini cables for a range of phone types. These cables can remain attached to the power bank which makes it extremely convenient and avoids the need to carry a separate cable for your phone charging. The cables clip neatly in place on the power bank and are a pretty nifty feature. The included carry pouch is very well made and of a nice material which gives the overall package a quality touch and is great when storing the power bank in a backpack, etc. And if that is not enough there is also a bonus USB flexible light that I’m sure will come in handy for reading in lower light conditions. However, that’s all great but the main thing is the power bank itself. I’m impressed, it’s covered in a textured coating which is soft to the touch and nice to handle. The touch panel to display the 0-100% charge is very nice and appears accurate. The recharge and USB ports are all solid and don’t look like they will break any time soon. The USB cable even has a protective cap for when it’s not being used, a really nice touch. Regarding the storage performance, it’s quick to charge to full and I’ve managed to get 5 full recharges for an iPhone SE, that’s pretty good going for a 10000mAh unit. It seems that INIU are positioning themselves well in a pretty competitive electronic gadget market. I highly recommend this product and the manufacturer is building up a nice portfolio of similar products to complement the product line. If you like me spend too much time trying to decide which power bank to buy in a flooded market, look no further, buy this! I will provide an update if I encounter any problems over the coming months.
UPDATE – 5 months after purchase I had a product issue. This was dealt with super quick and positively by INIU. Great customer service!!
I’ve been using this product for a few days now and I have found that it will fully charge my iPhone 12 Pro Max twice before it needs fully recharging. This is great as I can carry around the power bank in my backpack all the time just in case I need to top up my phone on the go as it does not weigh much at all. I have found recharging this portable charger only takes a few hours with a decent power adapter although I just put it on charge overnight when not needing to use it.
In the packaging, as you can see in my photos, comes nicely packaged with the power bank with a USB C to USB C cable already attached, USB C to Lightning cable, USB C to Micro USB, USB C to USB A, USB Torch, Pouch and a Welcome Guide. You will need to provide your own USB power brick to recharge the power bank – I recommend a 15W or more wall charger for this so it will charge at the maximum speed it can handle. The included pouch has enough room to carry the power bank, torch and all the cables that comes with it. The torch would come in handy as a reading light or when needing some light in the dark if you’re unable to use the torch on your phone for example.
The ports are clearly labelled to show all ports will provide power when connected to a device with the correct cable and also which port is used to recharge the power bank by the mains. I find the middle port has a nice design for the included cables as the USB C end stays connected and the other end is safely stored away in a snug enclosure – only one cable can be stored this way at a time and is the reason why the included cables are short. This eliminates tangled cables but still allowing you to connect your phone to charge whilst holding the power bank on the back of your phone if needing to use it at the same time but other branded charging cables can be used also. All three ports can be used at the same time to charge devices but I have not needed to do this yet. There are two USB C and one standard USB connections.
The LED display and touch control adds a nice feature to display the battery remaining percentage of the power bank and the satin finish of the casing feels nice to hold in the hand although attracts finger prints quite easily.
Overall, I think this power bank is a great product at an affordable price for the size (physical and battery capacity) and included accessories.
So i received this as a promotion tester which i had signed up to, as it wasn’t something i had done before. Ido a lot of travelling for work and I am constantly on my phone. I found that my battery was always running empty. When i received the email to try this tester i thought why not.
I received the package promptly after placing my order. It came well wrapped and had no damage.
I thought the box and design for all of the components was spot on and held everything securely. I was very pleased to find that not only was it a power pack but all the extra little charging leads, pouch and even a usb reading light included.
I have been using the powerpack for a month now and I am very impressed it fast charges my phone and recharges quickly as well. It has nice digital indications of batt life left and is touch sensitive. It comes in a nice rubber/silicone casing that makes it easy to grip and set your phone on without it sliding off. The power pack is even powerful enough to power my chromebook for 4 hours. All in all i’m very pleased with the product and would highly recommend i
Very well packaged and extremely small for a power bank of this size, it comes with various cables to fit different manufactures, and you can stow the “in use” cable in a slot on the power bank, the cables are quite short but designed that you can easily charge the device next to the power bank but if you prefer you could just plug in a longer cable. It also comes with a light that can be used in an emergency. To check how full the power bank is, you just press the fingerprint icon on the front. I used this for my iPhone 12 but it was quickly stolen by my daughter for her iPhone 11. She loves it, so much so, she wont give it back, so i might have to buy another one now. I get about 3.5 times charge on my phone which makes this extremely handy especially as modern phones seem to eat battery power. The cable connection is USB C and INIU provide 3 cables a USB C – USB C, USB C – Lightning and a USB C to Micro USB, I would definitely recommend
I recently purchased this Power Bank from INIU, having owned some of their products in the past. I have a load of electronic devices that need juicing when I am on the move and do not have a power source nearby. Therefore having some kind of battery back up is a must, preferably one with multiple outputs.
I was not disappointed. This 10,000 mAh Power Bank is absolutely fantastic! Reasons why I feel that way? Read on (in no particular order):
– Fast charging with up to 15W of power (5V x 3A) – and the best bit? All the outputs support this!
– Absolutely and truly one of the nicest feeling Power Bank to grace my hands – and I have owned several over the last decade including the more widely known brands. This has a sturdy and soft touch feel to it that just exuberates quality from every angle.
– FREE flexible USB LED torch included – what a handy and lovely gift! Simply plug in and you’re good to go, perfect as a reading light (see pictures enclosed)
– Easy/convenient LED display for precise and immediate power readout in percentage. No longer you need to guess whether the power is 25% or 50% or something in between with old school LED dots.
– CE Marked
– Great presentation and included carry pouch – your power bank will stay protected!
– Slim, light weight and very portable. Easy to carry without adding bulk.
– Value for money Power Bank compared to the competition.
– USB C Input for Fast Charging – just plug into your existing Fast Wall Chargers for a quick juicing.
– Dual USB Type A + USB Type C Outputs – can connect multiple devices at the same time – all ports support 15W output for quick juicing.
– FREE included cable and different connector types, USB Type C to Type C, USB Type C to Apple Lightning and USB Type C to Micro USB. These are short cables with one end that remains neatly tucked in so minimises chances of damage to the port. Pretty much all the connectors you can ever need. This is one value add that really does make this Power Bank stand out. You can charge almost all the modern devices out of the box!
– 3 Years Warranty (need to activate on seller’s website) for peace of mind
*Note: This particular Power Bank does not support Power Deliver (PD) or Quick Charge (QC) industry standards but INIU make other Power Banks that do.
Overall I am very impressed with these new line of products of INIU and this Power Bank lives up to the high standards. Boy did I make the right call! I will highly recommend this product to anyone looking to purchase a well rounded and cost effective Power Bank, for themselves or their family members or even as a gift. I will certainly try out other products from INIU without hesitation.
See enclosed pictures for more.
This is a really nice power bank, compact, nice design, with a digital power level display. There are two USB C ports and one USB A port. One USB C port can be used to charge the power bank. It takes roughly 4 hours to charge from 0 to 100%. An iPhone X took just under 2 hours to charge from 20 to 100%, which is pretty quick for a power bank. Inside the box with the power bank you get a detachable USB C to USB C cable along with a USB C to lightning, USBC to Micro USB cables and USB A to USB C cables. There is also a carry pouch for the power bank and a really nice bonus a USB A light which wasn’t detailed in the description. The only negative and this is being picky, if you are adverse to finger prints or you have oily hands it will show up on the device. It has a soft touch coating but it’s a finger print magnet. Other than that is a small handy USB C power bank that I high recommend especially with a 3 year warranty and at this price it’s a steal! Great stocking filler!
Genuinely impressed by the sheer quality of this power bank. Even the box presentation and packaging feels like something you’d expect to pay apple prices for. For 15 quid this is well above expectation.
Inside you get a multitude of 3 x adapters for usbc, micro USB and apples lightning cable all connected to the power bank by usbc. Flexible length of cables is approx 7cm when connected (see pics). Slightly too short for my liking and I’d happily pay more for cables a few cm longer so that if I put my phone upside down cables upwards in a bag on charge, the power bank isn’t dangling from the phone and the cable long enough for it to sit level with the phone.
Cables themselves are flat ribbon flexi silicon type. The connector ends are a chunky plastic with a real definitive click when you join. I love this, there’s no fear of cables slipping out or snapping. They feel very robust.
Touch screen indicator is cool, I usually like physical buttons but this is a good modern change. The number on the screen is not too bright which is good for night charging. It’s heavier than I expected but that’s because of the good build quality.
USB end caps on all cables are a really nice touch to keep the ends clean. As is the USB light which I’ve already used to look under the bonnet in my car at night.
All with a 3 year warranty to boot. Brilliant. This is my second product and I will definitely consider the INIU brand again!
I’d like to see a market for some sort of phone cradle adapter to power banks so you can hold and store the power bank and phone together when charging in transit, in say your bag or car. Some sort of clip on attachment to the power bank with a soft cushioned pocket that the phone sits in so the cables aren’t pulled. Maybe that’s just me!
I have used this to charge my IPad, which it did with plenty of power to spare.
It is a great idea to include 3 short cables with the power bank, so most phones can be charged with it.
It means I can just tuck my iPhone against the power bank which is much more convenient that using a long wire that just gets in the way.
I did struggle at first when I tried to replace the cable in the middle with the iPhone one, until I realised that the cable in the power bank when it arrives is fixed, and if you are not using that one then you plug the short cable you want into the socket to the side… perhaps the instructions should say this, but to be fair the socket does say in / out so I should have realised!
It is nice to see an illuminated % meter rather than 4 or 5 bars that just give an approximation of the amount of power left that most others have.
Finally the free LED ‘light on a stalk’ that comes with the package is excellent. It is flexible, gives off a lot of light and I would anticipate that it would give many hours of operation as the % meter barely moved after 4 hours use.
All in all, I would thoroughly recommend this Iniu power Bank. I was thinking of giving it as a Christmas present, but to will now be in my travel bag each day when I venture out.
Well where do I start, I’ll firstly start by letting you know I’m writing this review having used it multiple times on the iPhone 12 Pro Max and others my children use (iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max and iPhone 11)
The box comes very well presented and is environmentally friendly.
What do you get, (for your money) quite frankly a lot of stuff.
A touch control sensor 10,000mAh LED display power bank, capable of 3A charging with three outputs.
A travel pouch
USB-c to USB-C
USB-C to lightning cable
USB-C to Micro USB
USB-C to USB-A
USB-C to a small light (as pictured) which you can use for a night light or reading if your out camping, cycling, trekking or at home and want a small light not to disturb your partner reading in bed at night.
If your not already convinced I’ll tell you more.
The power bank charges from dead to full in around 3 hours using a 25W charger. (USB-C to USB-C
The LED indicator lets you see it charging and when in use how much power is remaining. If your not using it you can simply touch the screen and the display lights up to show you the indicator.
It charges my iPhone 12 Pro Max via the included USB-C to USB-C cable within the hour (it’s fast)
The cable is short, flat and designed in such a way the you can fold it over and still use your phone holding both power bank and phone together very comfortable, no hanging cables to worry about. When your phone has finished charging you can actually put the cable in a safe place keeping the end of the cable safe from damage by tucking it into a well designed slot in the power bank.
I’ll touch on the design, when I first sore it on Amazon I wasn’t totally convinced it looked particularly that good, having seen it in person I realised how wrong I was to worry. It’s top quarter is made from some type of glass and the bottom is a very nice soft rubber like material which (I think) was purposely designed to stop your phone from slipping/sliding if your charging and using your phone at the same time, another bonus!
Lastly the company, fantastic customer service and let’s not forget a 3 year warranty. You simply register the power bank which takes less then a minute to do and your all set.
This power bank for the price is simply incredible, if I haven’t convinced you then I’m not sure what will other then try it for yourself.
INIU you really have a wonderful product here, keep up the good work.
I have many Iniu power banks which I use for powering electronics projects and am a big fan due to the price and build quality. Recently, I found myself looking for something a bit more compact to use for charging my phone / ipod on the go and came across this unit which seemed perfect.
I’ve only had it for a week or so but it seems to be working really well. It is compact and I really like the modular cables supplied with it which avoids the tangle in my travel bag. Battery life seems good and fast charges as well when I use with my Ipod and phone.
Unlike many power banks I have had from other manufacturers, this is a really solid bit of kit. It is not thin or light, but I wanted something sturdy and needed a decent capacity so for me it is ideal.
The digital display is also nice as I know exactly how much charge I have left.
Overall, the build quality and performance is superb for the price. I highly recommend.
I have used this product for a few days now and really like it: It is compact, comes with a pouch and easy to slip into my handbag: it is also very lightweight. I really like the fact that you can switch it on by touching the little fingerprint so no buttons. Included in the package was a little light, very handy for reading without bothering anyone else. It includes short charging cables so no long leads and they attach snugly into the power bank which then sits nicely on the top of whatever is being charged. I have Apple products so using the iPhone lead more than the other one which would be compatible with other makes of mobile phones etc. A digital display tells me how much power is left in my power bank so no guessing or waiting for it to drain. Battery life is good but obviously this will depend on how often you use it. In one day I charged my iPad and two mobile phones out of one charge. I am very happy with this product and would definitely recommend it, especially to anyone who likes their phone charged on the go without any hassle.
I’m always dubious about rated capacities of power banks, flashlights, etc. so gave this a thorough testing. The conclusion is its great, and I’d recommend it. I was looking for a power bank to run a dash cam whilst parked (save the car battery) and this fit the space perfectly.
It came with three short “Build In” cables, USB-C, micro USB and Apple lightning, you can only use one at a time, but its a neat solution to keeping a cable on the power bank. There was a longer USB-C to USB A for charging and a carry bag. What I didn’t know is it also comes with a USB light, so you can turn your power bank into a flashlight or reading light. Great!!!
I saw 1.5A with a peek of 1.7A on my Galaxy Note 10 Lite when charging. Putting the phone under heavy load raised this to 1.9A. There was a meter between the phone and battery bank, so it may be capable of higher. Charging the battery bank showed 2.5A. So its quick to charge, the last battery bank I bought only charged at 0.5A, despite being advertised as fast charge.
Capacity, this is were you need to understand that the 10,000mAh is the size of the power banks battery. This is how all power banks are rated. The Li-po battery will have a typical voltage of 3.8v. Charging is done at 5v using a buck, i.e., the extra voltage the battery doesn’t need is just wasted. Charing from almost flat gave 9,500mAh, so this confirms the battery is a 10,000mAh battery. Great the specs are correct. Discharging the battery showed 7,200 mAh. What you say, only 7,200mAh? Yes, because the battery nominal voltage is 3.8v and we need 5v for the USB. If we work in watts, 9,500mAh x 3.8v = 36,100Wh, so at 5v we get 36,100Wh / 5v = 7,200mAh. This is great news, because it shows the power bank is very efficient.
The other thing I noticed during the discharge is the built in LED meter is very accurate and gives a great indication of the power left, when compared to the USB tester I was using.
Great battery bank. Capacity as advertised. Very efficient. I would recommend and might buy a couple for Christmas presents.
Just received this power pack and my first impressions are good as it’s a step up from my old one which wasn’t set up for charging devices with Type C charge points. Coming with leads for Apple, micro, and Type C devices, I like it having three ports for charging. Overall, this item has been designed for portability and convenience, and durability. Three of the heads are short charging leads that fit into the pack. These fit tightly with no play, and the design provides protection for them. If you are using one type, it can be stowed in the power pack thereby keeping the plugs safe. Nice attention to detail there. Covered in a grippy, rubber finish, this won’t slip out of your hands. It can fit in your hand and is not too heavy, so is easy enough to put in your pocket. The controls are Intuitive as there is only an exact percentage readout and a touch on-off switch on the front panel.
This extends to an additional USB to Type C lead that comes with dust caps for both ends for charging up the pack. Why don’t all charging leads come with dust caps? My only minor quibble is that in not being attached to the lead these might get lost unless you are careful when carrying this which is something I will talk about later on.
A nice bonus is the USB plug-in LED light. Handy for anytime you might need a a little light, this is a great addition. It too comes with a USB dust cover and is designed to be bent to direct the light where you need it.
Now for the only con: the carry bag for the power pack isn’t big enough to carry the pack with a stubby charging lead stowed in it. The charging lead sticks out the top. I wish they had paid more attention to this because if I was travelling with my power pack I’d want to have the lead stowed in the pack and not just shoved into the bag where it could scratch the power pack or dust get into it. Indeed, if I was travelling long haul, I might want to bring the pack’s charging lead and the light as well and you can’t. It means I’ll have to buy another bag to stow these all together in my carry-on luggage. If you don’t mind its size, the bag does offer some cushioning to protect your power pack, but the netting should be replaced with a padded plain fabric, preferably water-resistant.
Conclusion: A well-thought out design let down by the bag being a bit of an after thought. If the bag is not a deal breaker, buy it at this price. Why? I can stretch to a shell case or small pouch that will carry the accessories I want if I need to travel long distance with it.
First impressions count and this cam across as well presented straight from the packet and certainly has the look and feel of something I’d expect to cost more. The unit itself feels sturdy and with interchangeable cables can be used to charge items with USB A/B/C as well as Apple products.
With 80% battery in the pack I charged an old Galaxy Tab from 25% to 80% in just under two and a half hours using 65% of the battery’s starting 80%. The Galaxy has never charged quickly but I thought that this was more than reasonable.
Next was to charge the unit back to 80% which again took around two and a half hours and then to my Samsung S8 — 30% to 80% in an hour and a half.
I’d seen reviews talking of multiple charging and can confirm that both the Tab and S8 could be connected and simultaneously charged. AT no time did the pack or the products being charged get warm, let alone hot
The interchangeable cables feel sturdy and fit well into their holder and the design prevents the wrong end being inserted into the battery pack.
This INIU power bank comes very well packaged with everything you could require. It even includes a surprise gift of a USB LED light! You can see the packaging in the first picture, and the light is at the bottom of the box.
The percentage display is great for knowing exactly how much charge you have left in the powerpack at any time – just a touch on the display lights it up and then it switches off after a few seconds to save battery life. The charger is intelligent, so it knows what rate to charge devices, and it charges higher current devices such as iPads and newer iPhones very fast – much faster than my old powerpack used to.
Four leads are supplied – a lightning connector for Apple devices, a micro USB, a USB C, and a charging lead. The supplied soft bag is large enough to hold all the cables as well as the charger, so you can keep everything neatly together. If you want to use your own charging lead then of course you can; it has both a ‘standard’ USB outlet and a USB C outlet for you to charge anything you wish with it.
Using one of the supplied cables connected (I use the iPhone cable because that’s what I have), it sort of ‘plugs into’ the charger at both ends, resulting in a convenient little carry strap. You can see that in the second photo.
It doesn’t take long to charge this charger from a 2A or 3A USB outlet and once fully charged it will quickly fill my iPhone 7 battery three or four times.
It’s also covered by a three year warranty if you register it, so what’s not to like?
I love this little charger!
I bought this to recharge a smartphone and also a camera, while out and about.
First thing to note is that it has quite a premium feel to it. The main body of the battery pack is made out of a soft-touch plastic, not one that is hard and brittle. It feels good quality. And the packaging is nice.
The idea is a really good one, to have a digital display instead of four lights, and for the display to be activated by a fingerprint sensor instead of a button. Why? Because my previous one had two buttons. One made the battery level test come on (four lights – not very accurate), the other to make four white lights come on, as a kind of torch. Often in a briefcase, camera bag etc the buttons got pressed and the battery was run down. The design of this new battery pack avoids both of those problems as you get a more accurate, percentage indication of battery level and it comes on only if a human finger touches the sensor (I’ve tried using an object – doesn’t work).
It comes with a range of leads, two of which are plugged in as standard to create a belt loop. With the exception of the USB-A to USB-C one they’re quite short. For some uses you might want to take a longer cable along with you. But for others they’d be fine. Realistically the manufacturer could not have included longer ones as they would not have fitted with the battery in the netting-type pouch. And if they’re loose, they could get lost. So a tradeoff.
This is a very compact battery and also pretty light. So far it seems to charge up quite quickly and also to do the same to things I recharge with it. Overall a very good buy.
Don’t be deceived by the lack of a named brand.
Well-packaged, simple to use and powered with 10000mAh, the palm-sized charger comprises three handy – and small – charging cables comprising a USB-A, USB-C and lightning cable, which would charge most modern devices, alongside a very useful reading LED light (which works exceedingly well unlike other small LED lights), a carrier bag, and a charging cable.
The touch control LED battery checker is very nifty, showing exactly how much available power is left as a percentage. With the gentlest of touches, the display comes to life as well as when a device is connected to the power charger. In matt black finish, the main unit has a robust casing with rounded edges and does not feel slippery.
The pocket guide is succinctly written, with very clear pictures, explaining the vital features of the product without driving you insane. Whilst some minor corrections in English grammar/wording is all that is needed, it is nowhere near other egregious product leaflets you get from China.
Provided it stands the test of time (the device is backed up by a 3-year warranty by the manufacturer), it will be a fantastic buy that we will enjoy for years to come! Highly recommended.
This is a very neat design with the main body of the charger being lightweight and with similar dimensions to a mobile phone. It has nice smooth rounded corners so no sharp edges to snag in pocket or bag and doesn’t feel slippery in the hand. Included are cables with Micro USB, USB C and Lightning connectors to allow charging of the majority of available phones/tablets etc. and this all fits in a soft drawstring bag to keep it all together and protected when in bag or pocket. There is also a bright led lamp included that came as a welcome surprise as it is not mentioned in the description or packaging.
There are 3 outputs on the top of the device, one is USB A that can be used for older devices and two are USB C with one of these being dual-purpose and serving as the input to charge the device. I charged the device from completely discharged using a 2 amp Samsung phone charger and this took just over 2 hours to reach 99% and a further 30 minutes to fully charge so this is quite acceptable and it is worth noting that you would still be able to charge your phone from the device whilst it was getting its own charge. Charging my Samsung Galaxy S20 from 60% using either of the 2 outer sockets takes about 40 minutes but was significantly longer using the central output so this port may not be configured for fast charge. The led display comes to life when the screen is tapped or when a device is plugged in and gives a clear indication of the remaining charge available.
This device appears to be very well made and robust, it is also reassuring that the manufacturer gives a 3-year warranty so they must be confident in their product.
