Was quite paranoid buying this pool because of the reviews and it’s not cheap but it’s lasted all summer and the kids love it. Even been in it myself a few times. I let the water out and let it down every night and refill it each day we need it. Also I kept it on pool matts, underneath that artificial grass. We pumped it up with electric pump and it’s easier to do the seats first and if you know your using it the next day just leave the seats pumped up but let the rest down. So happy we purchased this
Great pool , seats and drink holders nice bonus just takes a bit of time to blow up and get it emptied would be nice if seats blew up all together not individually
Buy this pool great value ,kids play in it and on hot summer days adults sit in it and sup alcoholic beverages lol,had it ages now and still going strong 100% recommend for summer fu
You’ll need a new one every year. It expands and goes out of shape in the hot summers we have these days. Thankfully not expensive so a new one every year works well. They are great to use though! Shallow enough to heat up nicely in the sun. So no cold shock as you sit in it.
Used during the Heat wave, Fits 4 Adults comfortably, Takes around 7 minutes to inflate with a Electrical pump and lasted a month with out reinflating it and the The cup holders are good too to hold your beverages.
It’s well worth the price. Big enough for 4 adults to chill in with legs out. We’ve had 6 kids in it so far lol. Think hot tub size but not as deep. I’ve included a photo of it next to my house to show the size. My 3 year old loves it and its safe enough for her. Not too deep. The seats blow up separately. Tip do them first. It packs away easy enough if you use a pump that deflates stuff. I use the argos 12v car one on my booster pack. Takes about 10mins for the pool and a few mins for the seats. It does take a long time to fill because it such a big volume so start early. I use 2 hosepipes for speed. One hot one cold. The hardest part is draining it. Either prop the side up near the drain plug with an upturned bowl so the water can actually drain. Or let the air out of it so it can drain. But this means reinflating it to refill. If you have a big enough pipe you could syphon it out but it’ll take a while. I use buckets to speed it up and water my plants. You’ll never get it back in the box either like any pool. I’m using an ikea bag lol. The cup holders are good too! Take the plastic ring out and they fit a can of kopperburg nicely
This family paddling pool is a good size and I like that is has built in seats.
Easy to inflate and once up the sides feel sturdy and secure.
Perfect for hot summer days.
Highly recommended
Have had this pool for about 2 weeks now no problems as of yet and if you want a tip get some cheap sterilising tablets from tesco and drop 2 in the water each day for lovely clean water for longe
Although I have inflated the pool, I have not put water in to it as yet. so cannot vouch for any possible leakage.
I would definitely recommend an electric pump with a nozzle that can also inflate the cushion seats.
By and large it remained fully inflated by next day, apart from one cushion which lost some air.
It would have been nice to have had 4 cup holders instead of 2, something I overlooked when purchasing this item.
Used it for 4 adults during the hot weather. Done it’s job to cool us all down. Good size for 4 adults. Sides a bit flimsy for when you turned round to pick your wine glass up when some of the water would come out! Corner seats are a great idea and quite comfy to sit on. Up in the loft now waiting for next year!
I’m yet to try this pool, My original electric pump was unable to fit the nozzle, I bought a new pump which worked brilliantly for the main part of the pool, As for the seat cushions it would appear I need to buy another pump as my attachments were to big for the smaller nozzles, I tried my bicycle pump but that doesn’t fit, I tried to blow up manually by mouth but nope! I shall probably just fill with water or get another pump? It would be handy if there were pump recommendations to accompany this pool? because I’m sure it’s great when completely inflated.
I bought this along with the electric pump amazon recommended (you’ll need an extension cable). Inflated quickly, takes about an hour to fill.
Bought it June 2019 for around 30-40 on offer. We used it about 4 or 5 times last year (each time had a three day run) so felt we’d got our money’s worth. This year we’ve used it about 3 or 4 times already (each with a three day run!). You sort of feel because it’s inflatable you’re on borrowed time, so the longer it lasts, the bigger bargain!
We’ve had a little exterior puncture with a rose bush (our fault!) but some study tape has done the job quite nicely. Unfortunately 3 out of 4 of the pillows have a split at the seam (on our 5th or 6th use) but even uninflated they’re still comfy to sit on! I’ll only replace it when it’s really beyond repair!
The drinks holders are great for a beer in the sun! Every time I get the pool out, I spend about an hour cleaning it (hoover, mop, wipe, rinse with hose), then after all the faff it’s sooo worth it for the pool beer in the sun! Peak happiness.
I reckon it fits 4 adults comfortably (we’ve had maximum 3). Our 3 year old niece enjoyed it (although careful it gets a bit slippy on day 2 or 3 – sun cream and such like!)
Overall I think go in with low expectations – it’s an inflatable and accidents happen! Just keep it away from thorny bitches. We’ve bought a cover for it too (now we’re really committed) anything square shaped that’s bigger than the pool should work.
If you want to sit in something with a beer and think ‘this is the dream’, this pool is for you 🙂
This is my second purchase of this pool (bought one last year too). They should last a summer, but on my experience you won’t get two seasons out of it. It looks great and is ideal for cooling off whilst sunbathing. I bought this three weeks ago paying 70 & now it’s retailing at 38.74, otherwise would have given it 5*. Feel a bit cheated, but still love the ‘pool’.
Its a good product but but not something I would swear by and definitely not for outdoor Scottish weather. I’d fill it up with slightly warm water next time or wait for the temperature to get warm . The product itself is decent. It arrived quickly and is easy to inflate. Its only been a month and have used this product twice. So time will tell how reliable or sturdy this item is. My 2 and a half year old boy loves it and that’s what really matters. I don’t know if there are other colours online as my wife ordered it on my account.
Its good for a family of 4. Give it a try and you might like it.
I was one of the lucky ones, it has blown up and stayed up, i clean it, let it dry and fold it for storage and its survived 3 gruelling sessions with me and the kids.
31st July now and this pool is still up and going strong, we have to prop it up at this near side due to the slope in our garden but its still going strong after almost 4 months of lockdown.
My kids absolutely loved this pool! Four of us got in and had ample room. Well worth the money seeing them splash about in it and have so much fun. The cup holders were a bonus – just a shame there’s only two. A cover would also be ideal to stop debris collecting in it when not in use.
I found the quickest way to inflate it was to not use any of the adapters supplied with my electric pump and hold it directly to the pools in/outlet value with no cap in. It mostly inflated in a minute or two. Then close the larger cap and use an adapter to top it up to make it nice and sturdy. Finally plugging in the smaller cap to seal it.
Easiest way to drain it is to deflate it and let the water run over the sides rather than open the cap at the bottom of the pool.
I have a stone patio, so laid down sheets to ensure no sharp edges punctured it. It stayed up for 3 days with no issues. Now packed away until the hotter days return.
Would definitely recommend.
My family really like this paddling pool. It’s quite large, but you will need to place something like foam square mats underneath as the bottom is quite thin. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren’t for the fact that it goes down quite a bit during the day, so you will have to keep adding air. It was fine 1st time we put it up but since then we have found we need to top up the air every day, which isn’t too much of an issue. We blew the seats up by mouth and then used our hairdryer on the cool setting to blow up the rest of the pool within minutes.
I was really scared to order this pool due to some very negative reviews but as most were sold out, this is the one I chose for the upcoming warm weather. I’m glad I did. The pool I received is well made. Boxed nicely. Came with a patch should it be needed at some point. I purchased a pump for this pool and I think anyone buying this pool will need one, blowing this up with a hand pump,or worse…your breath…..will be a horrid experience. With the pump, it took less than 2 minutes. The main body of the pool pumps up in one go,which I found better than the old versions where you need to pump up each row individually. The seats are all individually pumped, which makes sense. It’s really comfy to sit in. Does take ages to fill, but it is a fairly big pool. If you want it filled to the top, tour looking around 2 hours. I actually filled mine from the mixer tap in my bathroom so it was warm….it was a joy to sit in. Plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 kids. The back rests hold pretty well, the seat also holds it’s own. Seems super strong so far. I empty and deflate it after use and have not left it out over night….last time I did that with my old pool, foxes ripped it despite having a cover. I siphoned the water out with a hose strait into a drain as I have trouble with my garden draining water. Empties like it fills, slowly. Lol. Easy to fold back up. I’d buy this again in future.
Bought this for the 2 days of British summer which we had recently. Was put off by some of the reviews of it being rubbish quality but still went ahead and purchased.
This pool is amazing, I’m in my 20’s so past the days of paddling pools but with the weather I needed a way to cool down. I love how this has ‘seats’ in and created a sociable pool in the garden. The cup holders are a nice touch, however there is only 2 of them. And my little arms did not reach them when sitting comfortably! But over all this is a good ‘adult’ paddling pool and was much bigger than I expected.
This was super quick to inflate, took about 10 minutes from getting it out of the box. The 4 seats inflate separately and the rest inflates with the main pool. It probably took around 20/30 mins to fill it up to the maximum water line too. Super quick, super easy. Perfect when the weather is hot!
I bought this with some trepidation. Every review for every pool I read had horror stories of exploding seams, huge holes and single use disasters. So this arrived and I inflated it with an electric pump which I would highly recommend. The main part of the pool inflated easily in about 15 minutes and you need to inflate each seat individually. With my fingers crossed I filled it up with water. No leaks. So far so good. In went child number one and dog. All good. Dog went in and out again and it still survived. Ready for the following days onslaught I thought. Morning arrives, kids off for the last day of school and later on I have 8 kids and dog in the pool having a party and it was perfect. Obviously the beer can holders weren’t tested on this occasion. And so it remained for the rest of the week and daily abuse. Drained and air dried it and fair enough it wouldn’t fit back into the box but that was to be expected. All on all, I thought this was a great quality pool. Recommended.
This a a great sized pool for a family. For the few hot summer days we have in central Scotland, this was a marvel.
The inflatable seats built in are a great idea, you can have a nice soft seat and you have a place for a drink too. Kids loved splashing about in it. Adult loved relaxing with a drink Win-Win all round.
You will need to supply your own pump though, but at this price, that’s fair enough.
The pool feels well made.
The only minor gripe I have is with the position of the drainage hole. It is flat on the bottom. I would have preferred it to be at the lowest point of a side wall. that way I could attach a hose to route the water to a drain instead of having to let it flood my lawn. Also, as its on the bottom, it takes longer to drain away as the ground immediately below it also acts as a stopper.
Overall though, its a great pool. Happy to recommend this.
