The Invicta Pro Diver 9204 is a well-rounded timepiece that combines classic aesthetics with robust functionality. It’s an ideal watch for those who appreciate the look of luxury dive watches but are conscious of their budget. Whether you’re a casual wearer or a diving enthusiast, the 9204 delivers impressive performance and style, making it a worthwhile addition to any watch collection.
This is the second Invicta ladies watch I have bought, in fact it is exactly the same as the last one. I originally purchased this model because I was involved with a lot of water activities on my school outward bound week ( pre-pandemic ) and having a waterproof watch was a must have. It is a very comfortable watch, fits really well after a few links were removed. I would have had no hesitation in giving this watch 5 Stars but the one aspect of this watch which is slightly annoying, is the date which is quite hard to see.
All in all, a smart tough but classy watch. It can be worn on any occasion without it looking out of place ! For me it ticks all the boxes!
(pardon the pun)
I love it!
Forget this is an invicta and all of the stigma that comes along with it. Fantastic quality watch. Screwed links on bracelet, good water resistance, feels very solid and chunky. I’ve owned a lot of watches and have come full circle, this is a really good watch. The scalloped bezel can be a bit tricky to turn with wet fingers. Lume is ok, not great but ok for a few mins. Indices are applied and everything is aligned perfectly. Really hard to fault for the price. Just don’t get put off by the brand.
I liked this Watch particularly because the contrast between dial and hands is good even in fairly poor lighting. The dial is reasonably plain, just what I wanted. It is still attractive and looks more expensive than it is. Not owned it very long but I’ve not managed to damage the glass yet.
This is a decent little watch for the price. Needed to take a few links out which was no bother. I have an 18cm wrist and removed 2 links, it’s a comfortable fit and so far had no issues with pinching hairs/skin etc.
Don’t expect the world in terms of quality, the second hand doesn’t hit any of the markers but hey, if it’s on offer for under 40 then I can look past that. The cyclops is also useless, and distorts the date rather than magnifies it.
I’m building a small watch collection and do like a dive watch. This is a slightly smaller size than a ‘normal’ dive watch, but it just means it’s a bit more diverse. You could wear this a daily watch to work or as your beater watch. Alternatively you can use it for more social/formal occasions and it wouldn’t look out of place!
Update: Had the watch some time now and it’s been working fine. I wore it on holiday and it took a few dips in the pool with no issues. Some other reviews mention issues after taking it swimming/in a humid environment, however I’ve thankfully had no issues at all. This makes me think the issues could be just to the odd watch rather than a general issue to the model range. I certainly wouldn’t go diving with it, but for the usual swimming in a pool etc it had no issues.
The Invicta Pro Diver 9204 Quartz Watch is an outstanding timepiece that combines functionality, durability, and style. As someone who appreciates a high-quality watch, I was impressed with the craftsmanship and attention to detail that went into this piece.
The watch features a 37 mm stainless steel case and a black dial with luminous hands and hour markers, which make it easy to read even in low light conditions. The unidirectional bezel is a nice touch, and the mineral crystal provides ample protection against scratches and other damage.
The Japanese quartz movement ensures accurate timekeeping, and the watch is water-resistant up to 200 meters, making it suitable for a variety of water activities. The black polyurethane strap is comfortable to wear and looks great, and the buckle closure ensures a secure fit.
What I appreciate most about this watch is its versatility. It’s suitable for everyday wear and looks great with both casual and formal outfits. The combination of the black and silver colors is classic and timeless, making it a piece that I will wear for years to come.
In conclusion, if you’re looking for a high-quality, durable, and stylish watch, the Invicta Pro Diver 9204 Quartz Watch is an excellent choice. It’s a well-crafted timepiece that will provide you with accurate timekeeping and versatile style.
This was bought as a gift for my son – bought at his insistence and with much scepticism from me I might add.
I shouldn’t have worried: from the packaging to the gift box, through the quality of the bezel and the stainless steel strap, this watch has really surprised me with its exceptional value for money. I’m not sure I love the etched logo on the side, but beyond that, it’s really well made and difficult to fault. For the money, I really don’t think you could buy better.
For the deal price I paid, very hard to beat. Nice big bracelet, a fit straight out of the box, and solid links, not pressed.
The watch is not enormous but still looks fine on a big wrist. It is all steel with a screw down back and of solid build. The bezel
rotates reasonably smoothly, no complaints.
Lovely blue face, easy to read, and very fair lume.
Easy to set, smooth and no jumping of hands when the crown is pressed in. The date is easy but get am or pm right.
I was going to buy a more expensive watch. I didn’t need to.
All very good.
This watch has been great – I bought about 7 or 8 months ago and have worn it most days. It’s accurate, it’s electric so you can’t forget to shake/wind it. It looks cool. And it isn’t big – this is a 37mm diameter watch so it looks just right on your wrist so long as you don’t want to look like an SAS soldier or a gamer with an eye on the clock! I’ve changed the wristband – not because there’s anything wrong with it at all – I just like a nylon NATO style band – I’ve got the sort with the two pieces rather than the one that goes around the back of the watch – this makes the watch thinner my. Blue watch, navy nylon band – perfect. One of my great buys in life. It’s many thousands less than the Rolex Submariner it’s based no – eh no – I was never spending 7000 on a watch – 50 is just about right.
Revisit – two years on and this watch has performed perfectly – just needed a battery – which was dead easy – unscrew the back – install battery bought from here – screw it back on – job done. Keeps very good time. Easy to wear as it’s not huge or very thick. And I notice above they are now even cheaper – an absolute bargain at 42.
Great mid sized watch. Not an overly long bracelet which is a nice change. Just adjusted the clasp. Makes a change from having to remove links. Great little watch. Decent Lume, good readability-a nice neat quality watch. Not screwed crown but seems reasonable water resistant.
The winder fell off the watch and it appears impossible to contact Invictus vis their website. My partner has emailed and had no response. And yet there is a year’s warranty – not worth the paper it is written on by the look of things. Think carefully before you buy a product that is not manufactured in this country.
He loves the watch but if there’s no back-up what’s the point?
This watch is simply a beautiful piece of precision engineering. Robust without being overly chunky, it feels great on the wrist, so much so, I often forget it’s there.
I have it over six months now and it has never lost a second, but only time will tell.
The strap is well made, with a double closing mechanism, so there’s no hope of it ever opening unintentionally and falling from the wrist.
Overall, I’m glad I bought this item and I know my next watch will be another by Invictus.
I wanted a watch that I could take snorkelling and not worry too much if it leaked, so I bought this as effectively a sacrificial watch. I wasn’t expecting much in the way of quality but I have been pleasantly surprised.
The look is, of course, heavily “influenced by” the Rolex Submariner, but if your price range is in the up-to-100 area rather than the up-to-10,000 area, this has to be a good bet.
The case feels pretty solid and, as long as you don’t go looking too closely at the finishing, only the slightly thin & rattly bracelet gives away its price point.
In the three weeks I’ve had it, it has lost about 7 seconds. Oddly, it seemed to lose most of those seconds in the first 24 hours and has remained pretty constant since then.
I am sceptical how a watch without a screw-down crown can be rated 200M water resistant but haven’t yet been able to do more testing than to immerse it in a bucket of water for a few hours, wear it in the shower; give it its due, it has remained perfectly operational afterwards. The rotating bezel on mine is very difficult to turn though – if you were trying it with wet hands whilst in the water, you would probably really struggle.
I am planning a trip to do some snorkelling later in the year (Covid-19 permitting) so I will definitely update this review afterwards to report back on how the watch fared in the sea.
So, in brief, for the price this is a great buy and I would be really mean to give it less than 5 stars.
I like Invicta watches a lot and have quite a few and generally they are all very good quality this one I bought as one to wear on a daily basis the watch is a small by modern standards for men’s watches and l like this because it’s sits nicely on my wrist and feels less bulky than similar design watches.
The quality is super made of stainless steel with accurate quartz movement the Finnish is excellent perhaps not to the standards of Swiss timepieces but not far off. Invicta make (Chinese built with various movements) a vast range all of which are good.
One thing to watch out for is the seals on the case back and winder crown they sometimes fail leading to fogging of the watch glass. Check the watch when it arrives any fogging/misting on the glass send it back.
Beautiful watch, even though I bought it at 60 when others got it for cheaper I’m not annoyed one bit as it’s worth it.
Looks like a gorgeous diver watch, fits snugly on my tiny wrist. I had 1 brief scare when the time wouldn’t work for about 10 minutes and wondered if I should return it. I’ve also scratched the glass dial on a wall going up the stairs which came off looking brand new so the glass could be crystal and is durable. Would buy it again in a different colour haha
A beautiful watch that has totally exceeded my expectations. The build quality is the thing that has surprised me the most as it is easily as good as other watches in excess of 100 that I have seen up close recently. There is a great deal of very fine detail on the watch’s face and the strap is solid stainless steel and has a good weight to it. I carefully altered the strap to suit my wrist today using a decent watch repair kit I bought from Amazon yesterday evening. With a bit of care and patience it’s a job anyone with a steady hand can do. I also used a ‘third hand’ tool which features a decent magnifying glass to ensure complete success.
The fact that this watch is normally approximately 60 on Amazon makes it something of a bargain in my eyes. To have just bought it new in an Amazon sale for under 38 is an insanely good deal. The presentation box is also very different to most out there and although the bright yellow may not be to everyone’s liking it is nicely made too.
Overall this Invicta Pro Diver unisex quartz watch is a cracking watch to add to my growing collection and despite being smaller than most of my other watches it still suits the size of my wrist and is a nice weight too. Oh yeah, it keeps great time too. Not a second out since yesterday.
Very highly recommended!
A bit of a curates egg, this one….I enjoy wearing watches and have a modest little collection of (mostly) cheap and cheerful ones to suit my mood or the occasion. If you listen to the opinions of watch enthusiasts you will be dismayed to find that Invicta have a less than healthy rep-but this is largely based on their ‘blingtastic’ monster watch designs featuring metal bolts and gold plated plasma screens. This one is more sedate!
Style wise, it is loosely based on a Rolex Submariner dial and an Omega Sea Master bezel. This is the closest I’ll ever come to owning either of these multi-thousand dollar watches so I am quite happy with that…..it DOESN’T however quite fall into the ghastly and ungentlemanly trap of being a shoddy ‘counterfeit’ or replica. There is enough about it to make it an original in its own right. ‘Invicta’ is nicely engraved on the side and back which is enough to keep the Rolex lawyers happy. The overall build quality is nice too…..but (probably?) light years away from the watches it’s based on.
So….I paid less than 40 squids for a good looking (ymmv) watch. I can find nothing shoddy about its build quality for that price. I have super skinny wrists so the fact that it is marginally undersized at 38mm is a bonus for me. The strap was HUGE and I am not a fan of bracelets so I removed that I’m afraid. It looked kind of ok though if that’s your thing, I might get busy with my link removing tool one day but it’s fine on a leather or Nato. (very James Bond!!)
Mine seems to lose about a second or two a day at the moment. (about par for cheap Quartz movements.)
It’s very BLUE! Not really a bad thing…..the blue dialed Rolex costs about 20000 and is white gold rather than stainless steel. Looks alarmingly similar in this respect!
All in all I like it so far.
Time Will Tell.
If it keeps reasonable time and lasts the distance it represents a good buy for an attractive multi-purpose daily wearer in my book.

I have had the silver/blue varaint for a couple of months now.
It looks good and has seems to keep time well (1 minute out after 2 months).
Had to take have several links out of the strap as it is enormous.
Can’t say I’m ever going to wear it while diving in the sea, who would thesedays.
However, I have used it for pool sessions with the local club, no issues at all.
Very useful when teaching Scuba lessons or swimming before work.
So, no leaks or fogging down to 3m and I haven’t managed to scratch it yet.
Very happy, can’t go wrong for this price.
Been happy with this watch so far despite other reviews. Well presented and seems be well made, based on the strap quality when removing a link, have seen a lot worse on top brands. As far as the watch itself, all seems fine, easy to set the time and date, nice clear date display and of course the most important thing, good time keeping. So overall very satisfied.
I have bought this for a gift for my son for later in the year as it was in an Amazon lightening sale. Personally I have an Invicta watch that my wife bought me several years ago, good sturdy quality, keeps excellent time and can be bought reasonably. I am hoping this one too will prove to be the same standard expected.
This watch is exactly what you view in the picture, definitely masculine, a little smaller than the one I wear, but most suitable for everyday wear. The packaging was a little disappointing as mine came in the presentation box for Invicta watches and an outer boxing with magnetic closure, which for me makes it more presentable as a quality gift. This one just came with the small inner box only. Hence the 4 stars.
It pays to be careful if your looking for a watch you can wear while swimming. Most of the so-called waterproof watches are only sprayproof. This watch, however, came up trumps – I bought it for sea swimming and snorkelling – and was well worth the forty odd pounds price tag. It is a nice looking simple watch (time & date only) that has been tested to 200 metres pressure (20ATM), with a good double clasp fastener. If you want a watch for scuba diving, however, you will need to spend more money on a watch that has been tested to 300 metres pressure (30ATM). This watch is ideal for holiday swimming.
So this watch… Where can I begin…? I love it…
Such a simply yet very eye catching design, it shows how real beauty in a watch doesn’t mean spending <1000...
Ok better get down to this:
PROS: Very light, mobile watch.
Acurate time keeping.
Water resistant to 200M but not tested, partly because I don't dive...
Twistable crown but not used it for real purpose(measuing depth travelled) but the sound it makes is so much better than any of the plastic, cheap watches...
Very good materials used, I like how it's all metal!
Pretty "bash-proof" in terms of ruggedness. I have accidentally hit this watch against tablets and chairs (and walls... :/) but there are only scratches to the metal strap, none have appeared on the watch face at all! Very happy!
Veyr nice engraving on the watch, there is one at the side of the watch and other around each link (on the inside so you wont see them due to they will be facing your wrist, and on the metal strap.
CONS: I excpected it to be larger when I was looking at it from Amazon but I think that's becuase my last watch measured at 50mm in diamiter. This watch suits my small wrists more though, alot better so not really a con...
Safety buckle should get tiem to get used to if you don't already have one with a saftey buckle over the strap.
Need to take it to jewlers to get strap adjusted, I tried with a tiny screw driver but it doesn't work, with some you can, other you can't... Be aware of this whene buying as a gift for someone else, obviously you don't know their size but just be aware you will need to do it unless you purchace/ own a tool to do it...
Overall: Very good, light watch for smaller wrists, love the feel of it and its very eye appealing, looks like a watch they could sell for alot more... Would have been happier if this SWISS company (Invicta) would use SWISS movement but the Japanesse Movement is really not bad... The second hand doesn't match up perfectly with the second dials but I'm just being picky with how I liek my watches... Besides a Swiss watch would cost alot more... Nice packaging with a delightful box it came in with instruction guid that is helpful and informative.
Very good budget watch that doesn't look like a budget watch. Have recieved various comments about it (good comments by the way) and overall very impressed! 🙂 RECOMMENDED PRODUCT!
Hope you enjoyed my review 🙂
