My daughter had the smaller bottle the previous year and moved into this bigger one. It’s perfect for school and activities out of school. Hardwearing so perfect for kids at school and keeps water the right temperature. It’s also easy to use, my daughter has been using since 4 years old.
Well made product with a useful flip lid that can be used one handed. Diameter is the same as a drinks can so fits smaller cup holders such as in Mazda Bongos.
This bottle is very light for its size, the lid is secure with a safety catch. Fast flow nozzle and breather hole for quick drink delivery. The carrier ring can be clipped to a belt attachment. Highly recommend!
This is a really great bottle, it does not leak at all ever. My son takes his to school, its been dropped, kicked around, slightly mangled and it still does not leak. Very pleased
This is a nice water bottle. Does not affect the taste of the water. The drinking spout is perfect for controlling the amount released; especially on a bumpy journey. It would be the best on the market if it was thermal but it isn’t, sadly. Water hits room temp quickly and condensation naturally forms if filled with iced water so not for in the backpack in that instant. Easy to carry with its little hooky thing. Aesthetically pleasing. I find the best way to clean the interior is with a teaspoon of bicarb and a glug of vinegar then top it up with water and leave for 10 minutes. Works every time. It arrived very quickly and was well packaged. If you don’t care about the temperature of your water this would be a good buy.
Great waterbottle.
Looks great. Love the color. Keeps drinks cold when out and about. Has a hook so it can hook onto a buggy or bike and the slim design fits perfectly in a car cup holder.
Have bought first ion8 bottle few years ago and was impressed buy its quality.
Very durable with good look, no leaks.
Was sceptical about metal one as thought it will have odours after some time but I didn’t disappoint.
I Use it for water only and metal doesn’t change its taste as some other metal bottles do.
Me and my partner have few of these for a yers now and we are very happy with them.

Great bottle for the price. Fits in cup holders in the car and the wide opening is great for ice cubes and cleaning. It can be cleaned in the dishwasher and the large opening actually allows enough water in to give it a good wash. Only downside to the bottle so far is after being closed for a long period of time the one handed opening sometimes gets stuck but frees up after being opened once. If it wasnt for this it would be 5 stars
Everything else is fine but I’ve given it 4 stars because I don’t understand the point of the tiny hole at the top. Says for “airflow” but that comes out the mouth hole anyway? So what’s the actual point of it? Gave it as a gift and they mentioned how it just leaks water from there. Dumb idea.
It is good but the bottle scratched on first use. Plastic may be better. It has a breather that sometimes spurts water out so it works OK but flawed for money
This is overall an excellent bottle.the second I have bought (got one to keep at work)
However, while still by far the best bottle design I’ve had the quality of the one purchased on Amazon was notably lower than that on one I bought in a physical store. This was primarily in the plastic moulding which was not as clean on the Amazon one. There were ragged seams.
Have tried a few leak proof bottles but none as sound as this! It is simple and sleek made in stainless steel but not too heavy. Most of all it’s easy to clean with no straw and tiny ridges where moisture and ultimately fungus starts to grow.
Dent proof so far! Has been dropped a few times and the colour hasn’t come off.
Got a second one for the sibling! I think we have found our perfect school bottle and a great choice of colours at that.
Easy to use water bottles, look good, and slim bottle so it can easily be slotted into a school bag. My kids love them. They are leak proof but once we lost a small seal from the lid, after which the bottle did leak. Contacted ion8 directly and they sent us out the spare seals immediately, which solved the leaking problem. The only disappointing feature is the bottles do scratch quite easily and start to look worn out if not handled with some care, but for the price, I will definitely buy these again for all of my kids.
Very good quality bottle I got for my sons camping trip ,the bottle is so good quality I ordered another one the next day one button and the top flips open it’s always has a lock for extra leak security but I don’t use it and if you drop this bottle it won’t break excellent ordering one more this week for my wife every one that has seen it wants one lol
Used these ion8 bottles for many years now and have given many as gifts over the years too. Have used daily for work too so they get a lot of use. Bought this stainless steel one for a change and love it.
This is the best bottle I have found in recent years for my 6 year old. Others with straws wore badly. Some bottles were too stiff to open for a young child. Others are only suitable for older kids as they have funny twist openings. This is absolutely perfect. Outstanding 10/10
Looks to be a good quality bottle so far, we’ll see how it fares over several weeks/months of use. It scratches fairly easily but I guess it’s the same for most similar ones of this type. My only concern is the clip to secure the lid as it is fairly thin plastic and may not survive a lot of use but we’ll see how it lasts. Other than that it’s doing a great job.
I bought 2 of these for my girls school bags. We have been using them for a while now and they are definetly leak proof. They are easy to use and clean and as I only use them with water they don’t appear to affect the taste.
They do fit in car doors and drinks holders which is a plus, the downside of this though is that they are tall and narrow which means that they get knocked over easily, and therefore dented. The finish has scratched off over time but this does not affect use. If you leave it in the sun for anytime with water in the pressure builds up and the bottom bulges making it not stand well, this is a testament to its being leakproof and is easily fixed by a grown up.
They are not insulated so the drink will be at room temperature.
All in all I am pleased with them and hope they last.
***edit*** I initially gave this product one star due to the reasons above. However I am now editing my review because I realised what happened. When I first purchased the bottle, I gave it a good wash and scrubbed around the nozzle area. I unwittingly dislodged the tiny rubber grommet that’s on the inside of the lid which is meant to bung the air hole in the top. Luckily, I just found the grommet the other day next to the sink. I’ve now put this back and the bottle no longer leaks. I’m only giving the bottle 4 stars because I think that the fact the grommet can easily come loose is a bit of a flaw. Luckily it came loose when washing it and not when drinking!
