Used this to control a couple of front porch LED lights. Easy to fit and wire. Operation very reliable after a couple of months use. Sensor fitted to side wall that can’t see the porch lights.
Uber eats kept delivering my takeaways to the wrong house so I brought an illuminated house number sign but it was on permanently. Added this into the wiring and now it’s only on at night when it’s needed the most.

There’s nothing to say, really. It’s a piece of kit that either does what it claims to, or it doesn’t. This does. I installed it without drama, and it worked. Only a few days ago, mind – I can’t say whether it’s durable in the long term, but it seems fine.

By far the best photocell I’ve purchased, easy to install and set up and less bulky than the usual round black/white units. Adjustment is easy and it is straightforward to fine tune the desired setting. Quality product.
Very easy to install, the connections are tight for space and you may need an additional connector for earth continuity, the light level to switch on and off is fully adjustable and covers a wide range of light levels,
i used this unit to switch on the solar panel battery charger when the sun went down early on winter nights.
