Unlike alot of cheap crap I’ve bought from Amazon, these have a great case that protects them, and keeps them sharp. I’ve only used one of them a few times, so it would be unfair to write any more.

This is a very nice set of forstner bits by Irwin. They have good longevity and won’t break the bank.
Very clean cuts with a flat bottom. I used them with a drill press. Diffidently happy with the purchase.
I do a lot of woodworking and these have proven to be very durable and accurate.

Quite sharp and has the majority of standard dowel sizes in 1/8″ increments, as opposed to some of the unused metric sizes. Very happy with it. Nice case to keep it from rusting.
I have been using the 19mm bit quite a lot in a Bosch PBD40 drill press and I must say I’m quite impressed. I have been drilling in mostly hardwood and the bit has stood up well and still cuts quickly.
Hoping the drill some holes for dowel joinery. Minimal tearing of grain at the top of the hole, felt a little disappointed with the sharpness of the bit I was using. Drilling into fir, with a cordless drill. Partial error is on the cordless drill, I think these would work great for a drill press with more torque and able to apply a bit more pressure. Great price for what you get. If I needed some again I would definitely consider buying these again.
Great value bit set. I have used these bits for furniture making with walnut and maple, both hard woods. These bits have held up well to the job and cut a clean hole. If drilling straight through, you need a sacrificial board on the bottom (as with any forstner bit). Bits are sturdy and sharp. Would recommend.
one of the smaller bits very dull, the others seem ok. After 3 try’s to get a good set, this Irwin one is great except for the dull one, reason for a four.
I have used them to make recesses for different size magnets to create tool hangers/organizers and even a framed modified acoustic treatment that can be moved from one place to another mounted with magnets. These were the original plans I had for getting this set but as I continue to build-up my shop they will truly come in handy.
The tools are GREAT. Top notch. But the case lacks very good latches. They are hard to open and that is the reason for the 4 stars. I have to use a screwdriver to open the latches….which are only plastic. I can see in little time the plastic part will break off and will not be able to keep the case closed. BUT again the bits work great.
In my box, three of the seven had minor burr on the cutting edge. I just scratched these bits on a piece of pine(any wood should work), the burr went away in about five minutes. This five minutes of work saved me a lot money so I don’t need to pay extra 2x or 3x for a premium brand.
They all give smooth cut. Not sure if they drill fast enough or will last long – it seems made of decent steel though. I use these bits occasionally. Not a heavy user.
