Keeps onion fresh in the fridge and NO smell. Just what I needed because I was wasting onions. You have to twist it to open, which was a bit hard at first but it soon got easier. I place the onion on a bit of kitchen roll so it soaks any moisture. Good little item.
I was looking for something like this for a while, I’m glad I spent the money on something that is a little sturdier than a sleeve. In our house, we call it the onion boob and its become quite the topic of conversation 😉
I’ve had an onion storage pod for years but one fall out of the fridge too many and I was left looking for a new one.
I wanted a silicone one (less likely to break) but reviews complained about not stopping the smell.
So I decided on this one. I was gutted when it arrived and I couldn’t open it. My husband opened it first time but it didn’t work for me. After washing I used a small amount of coconut oil around the edge and it’s worked brilliantly since. I no longer need the oil apparently I was squeezing and twisting at the same time.
Anyway it keeps the onion fresh and the smell out of the fridge.
Cute little container to hold your halved used onions . You are able to storage atleast a whole onion inside . I like to use red n white onion’s and im able to storage both inside . Glad i purchased

Often I don’t always use a whole onion and this is great for storing the left over onion . Keeps it fresh and stops the fridge from smelling .
