I have most of the Joseph Joseph products both in the bathroom and kitchen but do feel these were not thought through. The balance is not 100% right but stands quite finely, no problem, you just have to take care around them. It is glass. Lids brilliant, cleans lovely. Stores securely and good value for money.
I use this product to hold tea bags, sugar, coffee etc. and I am really happy with it. It is very modern looking and had held up well so far.
I love this set of storage jars by Joseph and Joseph. They look smart on the counter top (my friends even commented on them when they visited) and are a neat and tidy way to organise dry store cupboard ingredients/rice/grains which might otherwise be precariously perched on top of each other in a cupboard.
The fact they are glass also helps with giving a visual cue to buy more of a product when you see it getting low.
I use mine for different types of flour, rice and sesame seeds. I started putting these items in jars after leaving a very old packet of flour at the back of a cupboard and getting flour weevils some years back. Since then I have used jars so that I can see more clearly which ingredients I have and by keeping each producted isolated in air tight containers. This product has a good seal on the lids so keeps the products air tight.
Always buy this brand looks great hard wearing a bit expensive but you get what you pay for use it for tea, coffee, and sugar looks neat and tidy, have brought several for gifts as people always commenting how nice it looks.. definitely will continue buying this brand.
Usual Joseph Joseph design quality. Bought a 3 container one and as it looked great, went for the 5 container also. Expensive for what it is, so snapped up a bargain when this version dropped to a low price on Amazon.
Very practical on worktop.
Nice and sturdy glass containers with snug airtight lids. Can be used as storage for a number of items but I wanted this for my kitchen – have nespresso capsules in the largest container with tea, instant coffee, coffee sachets and flavoured tea in the others. Looks really tidy and takes up a lot less space than what I had. Also matches my kitche
Great little set. High quality glass containers with equally high quality stoppers of metal and rubber that fit tightly into the jars. The jars are of varying sizes and are stored on an unobtrusive plastic frame which fits neatly in a corner of the work surface. The jars are much easier to use and look far better than half used packets. I have stored various types of pasta, rice and salt in the different sized jars. Excellent.
Looks great & really good quality. The lids fit perfectly & are airtight but not difficult to open, even for those of us who have painful joints etc. They are a bit more expensive than other storage jars, definitely worth the extra money.
Impressed with how this looks in person and how it works under my cupboards. A cool design piece and useful storage. will update with how it ages over time should any issues arise. overall, stylish and functional.
I recently switched my coffee brand to a brand I love but which supplies their coffee in resealable bags which only have a slim opening across the front so it was hard to get the right amount out – I used to use a spoon but this didn’t fit in well and manually pouring it into the filter meant I got through it much too quickly. I was just looking for a single jar when I saw these and I realised it would work great in my kitchen.
I’ve filled mine with coffee (2 x 200g bags just fit into one of the medium tubs once compacted down very slightly!), plus teabags, and sugar cubes in others. In the very tall container I put porridge oats and I still have one spare but I’m sure within days I’ll have found something to go in that!
Really love it. It’s pricey but looks and feels great quality, honestly if it was 30 I’d wonder what was wrong with it.
I am a little biased as I love all thing Joseph & Joseph! This is a great product we have used the jars for all different pasta, the taller jar is perfect for spaghetti, the other 3 jars are good for other pasta types / shapes. The last (smallest) jar is going to be for rice so we have eliminated lots of packs from floating round the cupboards. I would recommend the glass jar option over plastic, it looks nicer and I think will be less prone to scratching over time.
Absolutely pleased with this purchase, I was struggling for cupboard space until I bought these, now I have space and containers for all my cooking items, looks good on my worktop too, great price compared to many other places, I bought them at the right time as they started to go up in price after I ordered mine, can’t fault anything about this purchase, great seller, great price and great delivery.
I was a bit worried about spending so much money on tea Cannisters. Love them . Good quality , and work a treat . Holds tea, coffee, sugar, capacinno mix and 2 packets of biscuits .
As you can see, these make for a great tea station! Perfect room for a full large tub of Coffeemate, coffee granules, sugar, teabags and of course- biscuits!
I will say, I thought these were glass but they are sturdy plastic. You can’t really tell until you pick them up. The best feature is they are properly airtight, but the lids are easy to open unlike some airtight coffee jars. (The biscuits stay fresh for aaages!)
I love that the whole thing takes up so little space on the counter and makes it really easy for anyone in the house to make themselves a hot drink without looking through jars and cupboards- its all on show! Well done J&J 🙂
Bought at a good price (26) for such a quality product that looks nice on my kitchen worktops. The containers are varying sizes with spaghetti fitting in the tallest and decent volume in others to take full packs of lentils or grains. They are made of sturdy clear plastic with well fitted grey lids which are easy to remove and replace but form an airtight seal. The design of the stacking allows the upper and lower containers to be easily accessed independently which is handy.
I love this podium Set, it is really good quality & value for money at the price I bought it. It’s easily holds a standard pack of long spaghetti , Cous Cous at 50g, bulgar wheat, lentils, rice , noodles and anything else that is dry I guess. It’s clear mechanism means it adds a splash of texture and colour to any kitchen because of the dry foods which almost plays a rustic but smart look. The airtight system is very good & I have high expectation for this in the long run.
small footprint but quite big on storage. have these stacked behind my knife block next to cooker, means all my rice, pasta and lentils etc are all together and at hand
One jars I thought would store spaghetti but a big short but still practical. I like them a lot. All Joseph Joseph stuff is excellent. Pay a lot more but worth it.
I have been looking at these for a while, I just didn’t want to pay the RRP and as soon as they dropped in price I had to get them. I have a lot of JJ products in and around the house and have become accustomed to the high quality products that they often produce.
They fit on my counter top and blend into the modern design of the kitchen and are able to store whatever you like in a stylish fashion. Whether you are wanting to store pulses, grains or even your coffee beans, tea bags and sugar, it will store them in a presentable way, rather than keeping it all in unsightly plastic bags.
Overall, I would highly recommend as they are well made a look good and especially if you are someone who likes to put things on display.
10/10 would recommend
These aren’t cheap, but if your kitchen is small, they’re great for easy storage and access. They’re from Joseph Joseph, so you’ll already know they’re made from sturdy plastic. Were they disappoint is in their capacity. A standard packet of dried spaghetti is fine, but other forms of pasta are not. The problem is the same with pulses. I find that I have so store the remnants of the bag in the back of a cupboard, which negates the point in buying them. However, if you’re looking for something that gives you easy reach to your most often used pasta and pulses, or coffee and tea, then this is good. It has a very small footprint for the quantity and variety of its storage space. It’s also very easy to clean. Just don’t expect to empty a full bag of penne pasta or red lentils into one jar.
They are great storage units however we leave ours near our sink and they require regular cleaning when as the surface retains a lot of dirt. Would recommend, however, I spent 30 to buy it and wouldn’t recommend spending much more than that!
Very well made and nice to look at. It’s a shame they can’t be out in the dishwasher but other than that – very good. Have another set now too.
Love this podium. Easy to store pasta, rice & cous cous, they are light and easy access to the tub you want. I have now brought the 3 piece for coffee, tea & sugar. Really well made just like the other Joseph Joseph items I’ve got.
The five piece Podium is an excellent product. I am able to put a considerable amount in it, cereals, pasta, coffee beans and tea. It also has the advantage of taking up remarkably little space, whilst also being designed in such a way that it is easy to use each different storage jar. I’m very pleased that I bought it.
