To put this review into perspective, this is the second set of these we’ve purchased, so clearly their good points outweigh their less good, even at the slightly high end price. Their main selling point is they are really easy to store compared with the more regular slab of digital scales. They fold & unfold nicely & are easy enough to clean. Measuring seems accurate & the display is easy enough to read. They aren’t so suited to large bowls, and they can be a little unstable at times. The zero button also seems a bit hit and miss in terms of responding & zero’ing. You also need to be pretty gentle with the reset button as it’s easy to accidentally set the whole scale wobbling. But, the fact that they store so easily and do work just fine, is enough to overcome the less good parts. I can’t say I wholeheartedly recommend them, but the small amount of space they take up is certainly a compelling feature if you are short of kitchen space.
This item suprised me with it’s ability to be folded, size and ease of use.

I had one green. I melted it as it stood to close to an open gas fire on the stove. I bought the white one to follow the Greysheeters Anonymous foodplan. A lot of people recommended this scale as it is small and easy to take with you.
These are my favourite scales. Second ones I’ve bought because first ones were lost in the house move. So easy to use, so accurate and such easy storage. My sister and mum have both bought these after using mine. Brilliant scales
I’m weighting my food and was looking for a portable weights to take with me. This one is just ideal, not too big but not too small so you are able to put a restaurant plate on it. Fits in my jeans back pocket easily.
Love these scales, versatile and very easy to store. I use it for everything. The only crib I have is that it’s takes a few presses to get the machine to “tare”.
Perfect for my tiny kitchen, fits in my cutlery drawer where space is limited, easy to use and very accurate. Would recommend.
It’s perfect, it works great, you can store it basically everywhere. Usually kitchen scales are unaesthetic and it’s not easy to store them if you don’t have enough space. So this one fits perfectly where you need it to be.
Don’t think twice and go for it!
Really clever storage solution and very accurate. Takes a few seconds to reset to zero. Only thing that could be improved is that it is a bit wobbly when initially set up and nothing on the scales to start. An extra couple of feet could solve this
I absolutely love this scale! The design in awesome – it folds away into almost nothing while protecting the display. Ingenious, practical and great looking. I use it all the time – right from measuring out cereal (just because I can!) to all my baking measurements. Saw it at my best friends place and coveted it. It’s beautiful, functional, easy to use and like I said, even easier to put away. Love it, love it, love it! Pricey? Yes. Worth it? Totally!!
Love the scales as they are so portable but the touch control is tricky and I spend a lot of time trying to get the display to zero before weighing something.
Didn’t know what to get at first and the way these are designed are very good, easy to use and easy to put away. For people who don’t have a lot of space and just need something that works this is the sh*t. Works like it should easy to read the weight once it’s on there and to reset the weight so the next ingredients can be added to the correct level.
Just wish the instructions on the box on how to get to the battery was a bit easier to understand. Could have just been the excitement of ordering for me.
It’s in the picture but like a product that is used by people and not marketing. Seriously want something that works and you can put away get it.
Really useful and take up no room. I am able to take these scales to work with me and so measure accurately all my food. I do find that they don’t always recognise smaller amounts, of say up to 5g, which is a bit frustrating.
Bought this for a friend as have one already – really useful as so small and easy to put in a drawer but agree with other comments the display characters are tiny so not such a good idea for someone with poor eye sight.
The downside is that pressing the ‘zero’ button while there is a bowl on the scale can make the whole thing tip up and spill flour everywhere, it isnt a deal breaker but it is something you need to be aware of (or learn the hard way!). Adjusting how you go about pressing the button can avoid this.
The price is probably a bit high for the scale, folding it for storage is useful for those with limited cupboard space, but you can get slimline digital scales that will slot into a cupboard for much less.
