Really pleased with this, bought it to replace a cheap one and I’m not disappointed. It responds very quickly and the auto shut off is really useful. Definitely recommend it.
I opened it up, wiped the probe and plunged it into some barbecue chicken and got a read. Super simple to use, powers up when you extend the probe, off when you close it. Built in button that changes between beef/pork/poultry. Also has a plug in cable sensor which can snake inside the oven and monitor it from there – did not realise it did this and it’s super useful. Pan fry chicken with a quick sear, finish in the oven up to 74. Perfection.
Great meat thermometer, very simple to use, open out, stick it in the meat and if it beeps then it’s done! I didn’t know that it had an audible beep when I bought it, I only thought it gave a readout instead. So the alarms and settings were a great bonus. I haven’t tried the remote probe yet but it seems a good idea. Only issue is that the magnets are not strong enough to hold it vertically on the fridge, it slowly slips down the fridge after placing it, so it stays in the kitchen drawer instead – hence 4 stars
This is my second thermometer that I’ve bought now and it’s definitely the best one i’ve owned so far. Temp readings are nice and quick within 2 to 3 seconds and so far it’s been invaluable with working out airfryer timings where usually I’d overcook things to dryness based on looks, this really helps to keep the food nice and tender. There are more features on this than I use.
Have bought one of these a couple of months ago. Unfortunately the 2nd probe does not work due to a faulty plug. Contacted the seller who assisted me efficiently and sent me a replacement.
Unfortunately the replacement was lost, then Amazon refunded me .
As soon as I had chance I ordered a 2nd one which arrived very quickly and without any issue.
Quick temperature reading (which was my key requirement) and the 2nd probe will help while food is in the oven or air fryer.

18Apr: Fast response from the Seller, after sending the video to the Seller yesterday, today received a replacement.
Now both fold-out and wired probe work, tested with boiling water.
easy to read, easy to use, various temp guide on handle, bleep alarm when right temp reached, fast temp flow. clear instructions and temp chart. bottle opener, seperate wired probe for closed oven cooking temps.
Controls are very user friendly.
Purchased this thermometer for my bread making and it works a treat.
