Very easy to assemble, just join the three pieces together, remove the plastic cover over the solar panel, & turn them on. The flame effect is quite realistic, the warm light is much nicer (in my opinion) than white solar lights, & the cut out pattern is attractive even when they’re not on. The on off button has a waterproof cover, which given that it’s rained most of summer in the UK is very handy. I put these in my small front garden & they go really well with the Japanese zen garden style of it. They go into the ground really easily. In theory it should be possible to replace the internal battery (they all stop holding charge eventually), as there are several tiny screws holding the outside case together, so it is possible to take these apart & get to the inside to replace the lithium ion batteries.

I have some of the smaller versions of this and have always been a huge fan of the flame effect these produce. I got these KALAHOL 2 Pack Solar Lights Outdoor Garden to review and they are more of the same but bigger, brighter and with longer lasting power so whats not to love?

The glow they give out up the path is lovely sends out a warm cozy vibe (even when the british weather is usually far from that) and the set up of them is super easy. Just fit the stand and ground spike all together and push into the ground and turn them on couldn’t be simpler.

Only gripe is the fact you have no idea if they are switched to the on position via the button and without any power on first set up you have to wait till its charged and is dark before switching them on. No big deal though.

Overall these are amazing lights and I’m definitely in the market for more of this size.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely warm glow and super simple

The flame effect is actually pretty good on these, it has a short, medium and taller flame that it cycles through, adding to the realism. They’re more orange than anything at night, white light really amplified the orange-ness, but amongst warm lights it blends in a lot more.

The lamp is a matt plastic, but the spike and pole are a shiny plastic, which is the only negative. I’ve put them a little further back in the flower beds to disguise it. The on off button is under a waterproof rubber button, near the base. Holding the solar panel to your chest can help see if they’re on or not, before popping them into position.

Bought this for my grand-daughter, she loves it. It looks so pretty in her garden and was very easy to build. Even on cloudy days it still lights up when it’s coming dark.

This garden feature was purchased for an elderly neighbours birthday and she loves it. Very easy to assemble and so far has worked very well. Quick delivery and very good price.
