Easy to fill. Weight works fine for our table parasol.
WHEN FILLED WITH WATER HAD A SMALL LEAK OUT OF A TINY IMPERFECTION SO MY HUSBAND OPEN UP THE HOLE TO ABOUT 5MM AND THEN FITTED A BLANKING GROMIT INTO IT AND HEY NO MORE LEAKING WATER, NOW WORKS FINE.
Arrived quickly and it’s exactly as described. Does the job as expected

When filled with water, base not weighted enough when easterly winds where blowing off the seafront.
Once filled with sand, no problem.
UPDATE: I got a different parasol and now it fits, I changed start rating as I have no issue now. With a sturdy parasol it goes well.
I tightened the pole up in the base but parasol was still loose, got blew to neighbours garden with a gust of wind within minutes of putting it in this base. I retrieved the parasol and put extra measures myself to secure it, but it should hold the parasol without extra measure, it’s the whole purpose of it. Maybe it’s better for a parasol with thicker pole, but it should be universal. I decided to keep because needed urgently for BH weekend if it wasn’t bank holiday, otherwise I’d return.
