Great product but can get very messy and the more you spread it out the higher the chances are of losing the magical sand. In the beginning we let the kiddies just play with it then realized we were losing a lot of it so now they only use it in the tub tables. The sand is fantastic and really does come together. Our key broke but we have replace it with an old lock key and it works just fine.
Toy looks amazing and larger than I thought. Bought for our grandsons birthday so havnt expected fully the product yet? Picture on the box shows the key hanging inside the dragons mouth but I cannot find it unless its inside the box? Can anyone advise who jas already purchased this item, thank you

My son got bought this for Christmas and 2 months on it is still his go to toy! It’s really captured his imagination and he goes back to it time and time again. I like that unlike play dough there is minimal mess as it sticks back together for easy tidy up. I also like that he uses his imagination whilst playing with it and that it is an open ended toy, mostly he plays pirates searching for treasure but occasionally he shapes the sand into food items to sell in a shop instead. The treasure chest keeps everything safe and together… There isn’t a cardboard box getting bashed and broken allowing all the parts to get lost. I honestly really rate it and will be looking for other kinetic sand kits now and hope they are as good a quality as this one! Really recommend.
Played with for all of Christmas Day and wasn’t interested in anything else. Great sensory play but a nightmare to clean up if spilt. I was going to buy another for my house but you have put the price up so I’ll shop around instead
We love kinetic sand and the surprise features were a hit. He loves the treasure box more than the sand. The only problem is the little plastic key doesn’t work well at all. We just have to pull really hard to pop open the chest bc the key doesn’t help any.
Great time spent playing with this, can always buy seperate treasure to alternate what is found. Very sparkly sand..
Only issue is the key is a little flimsy and can get jammed.. you dont have to turn just push the key to hit the latch. But mke sure when you fill back with the sand that the sand is loosley filked on top before closing

My son loved this although I’ve added some more treasure to dig for as it didn’t hold a lot for the price. The price is high for what it is but your paying for the kinetic sand. Kinetic is more expensive but it’s so much better than cheaper versions such as magic sand.

Molly loves kinetic sand and has never been more excited than when opening this treasure chest. Brilliant idea done very well using the sand inside the chest.

Gold and brown bags of kinetic sand very quickly turns into just brown kinetic sand. Does supply good portions of kinetic sands to play with.
Great value for money, you get quite a lot of kinetic sand as well as unique gameplay and storage with this treasure chest.
Overall, this treasure chest was a squash buckling success.

My children Started playing with it straight away from the box and digging through the kinetic sand to find the tools. There are little tools inside the sand, a shark shape mood and of course the treasure, these are little plastic gems.
The size of the treasure chest is perfect and has a great amount of sand to play with. It seems small but lots of fun treasure and secret compartments.
The treasure chest is very sturdy and has lovely detailed design on it which is fabulous.
It also keeps the sand fresh and all together in one place like a treasure chest toy box. No mess at all as the sand sticks to itself. This actually contains more sand than I thought it would!
The sand itself is very strange texture but satisfying to play with. We have used a tray under it so we don’t lose any of the sand and it is a painless process to clean afterwards and doesn’t get everywhere like normal sand does. More importantly, it Has replay ability obviously if you put everything back in , it Can be used again and again! So much fun!

This was an instant hit with my 4 year old grandson he loved opening the pirates treasure chest and finding all the pirates treasure gems and weapons,hours of fun, ahoy Jim lad!!
Very well received by the child he is on the autistic spectrum and does not like most toys. He loved this set it is very calming for him to play with, he loves it and makes sure he doesn’t spill a single grain of precious sand.
My daughter loves this kinetic sand filled treasure chest. It’s absolutely jammed packed full of surprises. It’s a well thought out and designed toy, that works just like a real treasure hunt, only it all plays out within the confines of the treasure chest. It’s very clever like that. The key is hidden in the sharks mouth and the chest opens to reveal a kinetic sand filled compartment that needs digging through in order to find the various pieces of treasure. The treasure also doubles as tools to use with the sand. There’s a shovel, rolled up map, a cutless a octopus. Hidden under the sand at the bottom of the chest is a treasure map, which explains how to open the secret compartment at the bottom of the chest. There’s a mold with a gold coloured kinetic sand shark filled with plastic gems. It’s a great toy with lots of exciting elements to it. The chest has is well made and has lots of nice details to it.
However having said all this the key that opens the chest is rubbish, its plastic and we have had stuck in the chest a few times, it is the weakest part of the whole thing. It can also be quite messy with the sand inside going everywhere so best to use it on a flat surface like a table with a cover on.

This makes a good sandpit substitute.
We’ve had a sandpit in the garden for a few years now and every time my children want to play with it it’s always a mess, we spend more time tidying it up then we do actually playing with it.
This toy however in my opinion makes life so much easier for people or children who want to play with sand or a sand style substitute but without the hassle of all the mess and this can be played indoors and in s small contained area.
Ideal for ages 3 and up.
This chest is huge. Honestly, It looks far smaller in photos but I was not expecting it to be this size. The chest is very well built and thematically, it looks incredible. The package is multilingual but the play is universal! There’s layers of sand to unlock and prizes within. It’s perfect for sensory play and my 2 year old LOVES it. I really like the theme which makes this stand out from other kinetic sand sets and the fact that you can replay it over and over is great.
I pictured this next to a big box so you get an idea of the suze. Fir kinetic sand and all the accessories this is good value. The treasure chest is sturdy enough and good fun for children finding the gemstones with their little tools. A great addition to her kinetic sand beach project she’s making
I’ve just spent the afternoon playing with this with my 3 year old grandson and it was great fun! Never seen this before, it’s amazing- sand without the mess! What’s not to like!
This little set is great fun, it’s fairly easy to find the treasures and work out what to do plus you can use it with other sets and accessories.
