Bought a cheaper one first which was very unreliable. My wife told that this exact one was the one used in our local hospital so tat was good enough for me. No complaints. More expensive but very reliable.

Got this for my mum as she has been breathless and heart beating fast, works brilliantly and she doesn’t go anywhere without it. Definitely recommend if you have concerns about oxygen levels.

I am so glad I bought this, whenever someone gets a bad chest we use it, just to check their lungs aren’t struggling too much. It helped identify my daughter was struggling with her asthma. Also very easy and quick to use.

I wanted a good quality one as my husband has breathing problems and his oxygen levels sometimes dip. We checked the readings against the hospital and the nurse’s oxymeters and they were the same. We’ve had it a few months and it really does the job.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis little thing definitely saved my life the day I had a sudden cardiac arrest. It showed my heart rate jumping from 55 to 178 and back again, causing me to call an ambulance. Collapsed within 10 minutes of crew turning up, they performed CPR and shocked me to bring me back.

Wanted one to check if/when got covid. Too many out there with suspect quality/accuracy – but this is seemingly legitimately used by NHS and st. johns – so no brainer as a choice

I found easy to read and use and it can be stored in your luggage when going abroad such a reliable piece of kit,
When you suffer from asthma this is a reassuring oximeter unit when your struggling for breath.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersUsed to help monitor my heart health. The device is very smart looking in a white and grey finish, is equipped with a lanyard, and is comfortable and easy to use. It declares a resolution of1% when reading SpO2 with an accuracy of +/- 2% between 70-100%, and a resolution of 1bpm and an accuracy of +/- 2bpm when measuring pulse.
Readings are provided very quickly and are very easy to read.
It is a useful adjunct to a blood pressure monitor in my opinion and the pulse readings seem to align closely, giving reassurance as I otherwise have no way of confirming the accuracy of the readings at home.
It is a low-cost/low risk addition to a health home-monitoring system, and I have been pleased with the item.

Bought this after a recommendation from a friend and it’s easy to use. I like the fact it is developed in conjunction with the St. John’s ambulance and used by NHS Scotland. Note the model sent out is PO6L. Also note kinetik have their own site too.

Well worth having one of these in your medicine cupboard. I purchased this after my husband was hospitalised with covid. If we had bought this sooner it would have given us the heads up that something was seriously wrong with his lungs. Money well spent.

I had previously bought a cheaper oximeter, and it worked only when it felt like it and mostly not at all. So cut my losses and bought this Kinetik model instead. It is very clear and picks up the levels almost immediately. If your oxygen level drops to below 94% an alarm goes off. the rubber finger holder is comfortable too. Don’t waste your money on a cheaper model. When your health is concerned reliability is more important, and this one is reliable.

Was taken ill and short of breath. Covid. Got one to keep an eye on oxygen levels. Worked well. Accurate. Kept a record of readings which was helpful when talking to a doctor. Handy to have in the first aid cupboard.

Extremely accurate medical item and well worth the money. Good to be able to check your stats at home especially if your asthmatic. Quick delivery and well presented in its own pouch. Would definitely recommend to keep in your medicine box.

Golden Review Award: 57 From Our UsersWell this little device probably saved my life. Both my wife and I had Covid and during our 10 days isolation, we rapidly became unwell. Our family became our carers, my wife felt so ill, she called the doctor, and she said, if you can get to the surgery I will check your blood Oxygen levels. Upon arrival, the doctor came out and put one of the Oximeter onto her finger, it read 88. The doctor said, if it drops below 87 she would have to go to the hospital as it would cause her organs to shut down. Upon their return, my brother went to Boots and bought an Oximeter he then tried it on my wife to be sure it worked and it read 88, just as it did with the doctors one. When he put it on my finger it read 76, he put it back on my wife’s finger, and it read 88, back to mine and it was still 76. He then called 999, my brother told them that the reading was 76 and it appeared that I had stopped talking. The ambulance seemed to arrive quickly and took us both to hospital.
We spent two weeks in hospital receiving great care but the Consultant told me that if I had gone to sleep that night I probably wouldn’t have woken up. We are home now taking it easy but getting better by the day. I think everyone should get one of these Oximeters they only cost about 15 from any good chemist and it definitely saved my life. God bless and keep positive
