Super happy with these deck lights.

They work via solar so they need to be in direct sunlight to charge up. Once charged up and it starts getting dark these light up automatically.

These don’t give off a great amount of light but enough to mark a pathway etc.

I’m very impressed with these deck lights, they come 4 to a pack and each light measures 4.5″ square. They are solar powered and do best in a sunny position … they are also light sensitive, so switch on (as it gets dark) and off (when it gets light).

These lights are solidly made and each light has 6 LEDs which actually give out a decent amount of light. These are easy to install as they can either simply be placed alongside a path or screwed into decking (the lights have holes for the screws and screws and fittings are supplied).

We have eight very wide dark steps that go from our courtyard up to the garden and we have placed one of these lights on each alternative step and at night time these do a good job of lighting the way. Brilliant.

    Highly recommended

These solar lights are designed for wooden decking, as they’re quite heavy and have screw holes facing directly downwards for attachment to decking. I actually ended up using these inside my conservatory! I’ve put these on the window sills equally spaced out, and they look fantastic at night! It lights up the conservatory very nicely and the overall aesthetic is stunning.

They’re super low maintenance as you don’t do anything apart from turn them on and then simply leave them in the sun! They have some serious weight to them, so they feel super premium and durable in hand. They’re definitely well designed for decking as they can easily take any sort of kicks or drops and will continue to function normally.

Overall, I think these are great for the price and perform really well. Would highly recommend!

I was surprised at how heavy these are, I’ve had small decking lights in the past and usually they are extremely light and feel fragile but that’s not the case with these.

The lights are bright and cascade light across the walkway of the deck. The are very easy to install (just screw them into place), the only negative is that they do stick up so can be a tripping hazard when compared with recessed type lights.

Over all a good means to light up the edge of decking or a walk way.

    Great solar lights.

Purchased for my front garden and looks so great.

    Easy to install.

Placed each light about 8 ft apart which provided excellent light fot the front house, when you walk in.

    Beautiful view at night.

My friends requested information to purchase a set for their garden.

Waterproof as well, purchased lights 1 month ago and still look new.

Have not faded at all from sunlight either.

LED lights still shine as bright as day one.

We will definitely order again for any other LED solar light needs.

    Great value.

These are a decent set of solar decking lights that add a nice touch to my decking area.

Out of the box you can tell they’re well made and very robust. They can easily withstand being stood on without any issue.

The solar function works as it should – at dusk they are one of the first lights to turn on out of all the solar lights in my garden and they’re always still on by midnight.

The light emitted is a white light and I’d call it decorative more than functional. They don’t throw loads of light so you can see where you’re going – they’re more of a corner marker that looks good. Personally I got them for the decorative aspect so I like them a lot.

Easy to install simply screw down with the supplied screws.

    Reccomended

These Solar Deck Lights was sent to me through the Amazon vine program for my honest opinion of them. The 4 pack solar lights come in a plain brown box containing the 4 lights 16 raw plugs, 16 screws and the user manual. The lights feel very well made constructed of quite heavy strong plastic, on the underside is the on off switch (make sure to turn them on before you screw them down) I intended to have them on the end of the drive way, I did try them there and they looked ok but now I have found a much better use for them iv fitted the lights to a wooden garden planter that people keep walking into, They make the planter look modern and should stop people from walking into my planter. I fitted them a month ago I no iv not used them for there intended purpose but they have worked great to this day in all weathers and look cool. Well worth the price will be buying more.

Pack of 4 solar driveway lights come with all the factures and fittings you need to install them. The solar panel is on the top of the unit and need’s to be placed somewhere in direct sunlight in order for them to work to their full potential. There is also reflective bits built in near the lights which is what you need on a driveway. I actually used these lights in my front garden and attached them to my fence in direct sunlight and I have to say the lights are on for several hours. I love how they at a glow of light into my front garden at night. Really worth the money in my opinion.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThese driveway lights from Kmashi are excellent. Yes, they look like ‘cat’s eyes’ and that is not surprising as they are primarily designed to be installed on a driveway. They are not really a decorative item but intended as a practical solution wherever boundary marking is needed, particularly on a driveway where vehicular traffic is likely. Of course they could also be used on any surface such as decking, steps, pathways etc, even wall mounted (why?). They are not intended to illuminate a large area but more as a guide and although the light produced is not massively bright or wide spread they do produce a fairly intense white light which can easily be seen from a very long way off (just like cat’s eyes do). First thing you notice is that they are quite heavy, solid and very well constructed from tough plastics. Confusingly, one of the pictures in the description on the Amazon page states that they are made from “aluminium alloy” however I could see no evidence of this as they appear to be a hard plastic, maybe it has an internal aluminium frame. Nevertheless, they do appear to be very tough and durable.
We have a driveway at the front of our property which is only just wide enough for our large car and, when backing into it through a gate, it is often quite tricky to see and to avoid fences on one side and pedestrian path on the other, especially at night. These driveway lights have made all the difference as they help us to exactly align the car easily and guide us in to park in the perfect position without mounting the path or scraping the fence. They are certainly tough as we are regularly driving over them every day and they do not appear to be adversely affected by this in any way. We are also impressed with the charging and battery life. Our driveway is on the west side of the property which only gets direct sun for a few hours each day, also they are in the shade of our car for a lot of the time. Despite this, they come on at dusk and stay on right through to sunrise the next day and although we have had several completely overcast, dull and even rainy days since they have been installed three weeks ago, they have never failed to come on all night. So impressed are we with these lights that we have bought some more to mark our front steps.

So the description states this is a:-
Solar deck lights outdoor, KMASHI driveway dock LED lights. Solar powered waterproof road markers for step sidewalk stair garden ground pathway yard ~ 4pack.

They say that these will withhold the weight if they happen to get run over. I’m not going to be testing that so I guess we have to believe them in this case.
Also that on a full charge they could last 5 days, with these stormy days we been having lately I’m hoping that’s a good thing.

These are heat resistant, water resistant and frost resistant, so hopefully they will last no matter what.

At the time of this review the price is 26.99, which works out to be 6.75 each.
Which is a bit expensive but if these last then it will be worth it.l, especially at they do have a 2 year warranty.

    So far so good
But I will update this review if needed.

The Kmashi solar lights each measure width 11.5 cm, length 11 cm and height of 2.5 cm. Each solar light comes with four pre-drilled holes, and come with rawl plugs and screws. So they can be placed where ever you desire, as long as the solar panel at the top can receive 6 to 8 hours of sufficient sunlight to charge the battery. The solar lights have 2 sides that illuminate with 3 neutral white LEDS, which light the near by floor surface within approximately 10 cm. I have placed them on each corner of my uncles driveway as a decorative boundary light.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThese deck lights are solid, weighty and look well made. They reminded me of road cats eyes. There are 4 in a pack and I plan to put them along the edge of my deck to illuminate the step. I switched the button on underneath and let them charge for a couple of days in the sun. They give out ample light and do the job well. I like the fact that they can be screwed in position compared to many more that require a hole to be cut out of the deck (Screws and raw plugs included) Once switched on they sense the level of light to turn the bulbs on and off automatically. (See video) As they are solar powered, they obviously work best positioned in a sunny location. The sunnier the spot, the longer they stay on for each evening. They have been lasting until midnight on a good charge. You could attach them to fence posts too. I will be buying more so happy to recommend and I hope my video helped

Make no mistake these Solar Deck Lights from KMASHI are top quality.

They are strong and robust enough to last a couple of years with a fair amount of traffic,

    The battery life is impressive.

On a really good, sunny day the charge can last for five days and being solar-powered is free.

Waterproof, robust and good quality well worth a look.

Although I’m writing a review just a couple of weeks after receiving this the true test will be in a couple of years’ time. I’ve found that most solar powered lights tend to lose their power after a while. However, at the moment they’re great and a joy to see.

They’re easy to install and have the added bonus of an On/Off button underneath which means they can be left out to charge for a day or two before switching them on, or in the winter they can be switched off when the weather’s poor to allow them to recover. These are solid lights and look really good too. We decided not to screw them down but to have them at various points round the garden where they can lay flat and be easily moved.

The lights are advertised as being IP68 standard which means the rating occupies the very top of the IP rating scale. Both digits are at their maximum level: A 6 for total protection against solid ingress. An 8 for total protection against water ingress, up to and including complete submersion below one meter and for more than 30 minutes. So they should be OK in the garden!

I love solar lights just fit and forget no need to change battery’s or wire them up to the mains, these deck lights are great for lighting a dark path or just edge out the decking, they don’t give out a mass of light but enough to mark a route, only downside of any solar powered light is they really only work well when they get full sun so these would not be much use on the shady side of the house.

These light s work well and look great along the drive so would look good on decking etc. they are not very bright, but good enough to see where your going. They are a good weight and well made.
