Nice pastel colored carrots. Not much to do for two or three years old if not combined with other toys. Has a bit of a challenge for little ones with problem-solving when trying to find a place for each carrot. Apart from that a two-year-old will get bored.

My two year old favourite game is play pretend restaurant and we collect carrots and transport them with a car and then prepare them. But as a standalone toy it’s not much to do with it. He’s got a quality because it made of food that doesn’t have sharp edges and is suitable for one years olds and upwards. A bit pricey for what it is

Bought for a 1yo birthday gift. Great for fine motor skills. Lovely and compact so easy to take with you to places. Carrots and holes are all different sizes so some puzzle solving needed to put them back into corresponding places. Simple, well made and cute colours.

This is a very nice and educational toy , made of wood. The wood is very good quality , lightweight but sturdy enough so I don’t think will break very easily, actually I think will last for a while. It is well made with round edges and the carrots as well as the base are excellent quality ,painted in a range of pastel colours very appealing for the little ones. This toy will help the child to improve fine motor skills , colour recognition, hand -eye coordination, counting , speech and language and many more .

The only real shame here is that this has gone up almost 3 to 17 since we got it for the little one.

The colours are bright and vivid catching the eye and the carrots themselves are delightful with smooth rounded edges and gentle felt as the stems of the carrots, the box to sort them out by size is also well made and no rough edges left to worry you.

This is a well made and built to last toy for your little ones that is going to help them with developmental learning and give them something fun to do, and two for one is never a bad deal, with lovely bright colours to entice and well made carrots to play with this is a lovely toy for motor skills to be put to the test.

I think this toy set is very good for toddlers and I like that it’s easy to use and fun for my niece. I like Montessori toys and I feel this one offers a good learning experience and fun. The cute carrots are nice sizes, easy to hold and I like the colours. The whole set is strong, sturdy and durable. I like that it’s lightweight and portable and easy to keep clean. I feel the quality is very good so the value for money is worth it and good. I recommend it.

I got this for the great grandkids, as I really like wooden toys. The game is fairly simple, as it’s intended for very young children. A wooden board holds different coloured carrots, which must be put in the matching holes. The board is well made and chunky, as are the carrots. The latter are topped with green felt. The board and carrots are smooth, which no rough edges. This is a great little toy for developing motor skills, and it’s quite a good price.

    Pros:-
    -Really good quality product
    -The wood is solid

-The carrots are easy for your baby to pull out and put back in.
-The leaves on the carrots are nice and soft
-This helps your baby learn about colours and sorting

    Cons:-
-Good quality but maybe a bit to expensive for what it is

Really nice simple toy that’s made from high quality wood and is easy to play with. My son has one enjoys pulling all the carrots out and then carefully inserting them back into the holes. It’s a really simple toy that I would be more than happy to recommend. Very age-appropriate and all the word is very smooth and perfectly safe for childre

This is a nice toy for 1+ year olds. They can grip the carrots and pop them back into the holes. Great for dexterity in the young ones hands.

Easy to pick up and not shapes.

The price seems a little steep but I can live with that. It’s in the higher end range I would be happy to pay.

Still gets 5-5. I like it a lot. Recommended.

This Montessori wooden toy set is both fin and educational . It’s a lot more compact than I expected but it’s well made and Even better for me, it takes less space for storage.
This is a simple activity with lots of scope for learning. the vegetables are different colours and sizes , so the larger pieces won’t fit in the smaller holes. Each piece has a felt leaf top to remove and hold on to. This game promotes hand eye coordination, manipulative and cognitive skills. It’s quite expensive at 17.99 but it’s a Montessori toy so your paying for the name. Recommended for quality and learning

5.0 out of 5 stars Lots of learning in a fun activity

Priced around 14.40 at the time of this Amazon Vine review, this is a nice and solid wooden toy for very young children. I will start by saying that I am a fan of wooden toys for young children, being that they are in general more environmentally friendly than plastic ones and tend to be more durable and longer lasting, and so I might be a little biased.

This toy arrives in a small, compact and reasonably attractive box that is suitable for gifting; please note there is Chinese writing over some sections of the box and there are no instructions in English on the box or in the box on what to do with the toy.

However, I would say is pretty obvious that the idea of the toy is for the child to match up the macaron coloured carrots (purple, blue, pink, orange, yellow and green) with the correct size hole in the wooden block.

The carrots are wooden too, nicely shaped and smooth, with green felt at the top of each carrot. The wooden block is also nicely shaped (rounded corners) and smooth with some decoration on the top of a rabbit, gopher (?) and a ladybird. The carrots fit neatly into their assigned hole on the top.

This is a nice toy for motor skills and problem solving — you need to identify and place the correct size carrot in the correct hole. It could also be used as a colour identifying game or sorting exercise as well.

I am pleased with this toy and am happy to recommend at the current price point.

The smaller carrots can be put in all the holes, but the bigger only their holes. But if that hole is already occupied by another smaller carrot… Not super easy to understand for a toddler I think. It would be much better if the carrot would be in different colours or have numbers, and there was on the base an indication about it to know where to put them.
Big pro is that this can be also used by bigger kids for play pretend: kitchen, restaurants, harvest etc.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice but...
