This is a great product. I got the conditioner also. Expensive but worth the price. I wash my hair every day- I live in Florida and am a runner. It is super for my hair which is cut short, but products give fullness without looking dry. Hair is quick to dry and easy to fix with fingers.
This may seem like expensive shampoo but it really is NOT. You use so little that a bottle lasts for about 3 months! It really has repaired my dry hair and makes it very soft and smooth. It has taken away the split ends in my hair also! Highly recommend!
I worked in a salon in Germany where we used Kerastase way back in the day . I used it on my own hair and loved it. I didn’t even know it existed in America till a few years ago. I ordered the Bain Satin Riche and used it for the first time today. Before that I had used the Bain Satin 1 a few times. It’s just as good as I remember. Creamy lather, rinses easily and I don’t need to use conditioner after this shampoo. That honestly almost never happens with my butt length hair. A little goes a very long way, you don’t a lot. I used a quarter sized amount and shampooed twice because I hadn’t washed in a few days and my hair tends to get greasy. Smells pleasant too. I know it’s pricey but it’s worth every penny. Those who doubt this is the real deal because it’s on Amazon.. it is!

I bought the shampoo, conditioner and oil, it’s worth every penny I paid, it’s really good so far I’ve only used it twice and my hair feels much healthier, shiny and smooth!

This shampoo leaves hair very soft and manageable. It is expensive but you dont need to use alot to get a good lather and it leaves hair feeling so soft. Perfect for bleached or dyed hai
This shampoo comes in a screw lid bottle. The lid is large and oval, which makes it easy to grip with soapy hands. Still would have prefered an easier lid. The shampoo has a very mild nice smell while washing, and doesnt linger. It lathers well, and a little bit is enough for mid length hair. It hasnt hydrated my wifes dry hair at all, but seems to clean very nicely. Overall, not a fan of this shampoo.

This shampoo is fab and doesn’t feel like it’s stripping am the moisture out of my hair. After use, some hair drying on cool and letting my hair air dry fit the remainder my hair looks less frizzy and more glossy oddly enough. My hair looks and feels healthier. Dryer patches from chemical treatments appear healthier too! It’s like doing a co-wash but you’ve used a shampoo for a good clean. Highly recommend if you have dryer or processed hair because this gives great hydration and gloss. It’s a pricy shampoo but I feel it’s worth it because I haven’t had this drastic of an effect from another shampoo without following up with a conditioning treatment.
My hair loves this Krastase Nutritive shampoo; it doesn’t feel dry and it looks smoother and less frizzy.
It’s a rich shampoo that produces a thick lather so I don’t need to use as much shampoo as I usually would. It has quite a strong floral and slightly herbal smell, although the scent is stated as ‘Unscented’ in the product details. I got amazing results on my first use and couldn’t believe how soft my dry and frizzy hair felt.
If you have dry hair and it’s within your budget, then I would highly recommend this fabulous shampoo. As you don’t need to use as much as you normally would, it’s better value than you might think.
Kerastase wasn’t a brand I was familiar with till recently and it is now my favourite.
Every product I have tried has been great and this is no exception.
It really gives life back to dry hair and makes it soft and supple and it looks and feels like the hair you want to have.
Only downside I guess is its a small bottle and it’s not cheap but sometimes you have to pay a little more to get results.
Great product, as expected from the brand. A little goes a long way and it lathers really well. Easy to apply and work through your hair and also easy to wash out. Has a neutral fragrance that isn’t overpowering and doesn’t linger for too long.
Left my hair feeling very airy, shiny, and with a lovely bounce to it. I get bouts of dry hair depending on the season but worry that hydrating shampoos make my hair grease up quicker than usual. It’s not
the case here. My hair was left looking fresh and hydrated, but not weighed down.
Would’ve preferred if there wasn’t a screw-on lid, as it can get slippery to open especially when my hands are wet. Gave me good results from the first time using it and I’d be happy to recommend.

Bottle is nicely shaped, so comfortable to grip, hold and squeeze.
Shampoo has a nice thick consistency.
It lathers well with warm water and is easy to rinse off.
I like its ingredients to include niacnamide and bain satin, it is full of goodies for the hair.
I have shoulder lenght dry, straight fine thinning hair with split ends.
It is unscented, so I use fragranced conditioner.
I use it for about 2 weeks now, my hair look healthier and more lively, they are shiny, easy to brush and sleek.
Great shampoo, hovewer I would prefer it in the scented version.
Not cheap, but a little bit goes a long way, so I would happily recommend it.
Krastase Nutritive, High Nutrition Rich Shampoo, works well for my dry hair. It’s delicately light, has a delightful fragrance. it lathers up really well Also left my hair clean and fresh.
It’s a bit expensive, but really nice product, makes my hair feel like it has a high end salon treatment.
This shampoo provided an intense nourishment to my hair – deeply moisturises and hydrates which is perfect for dry or damaged hair. It is also very gently so suitable to sensitive prone skin – clean the scalp effectively without causing rashes.
Wow, just wow! I have never before used a shampoo that made my hair feel so hydrated after use that I felt I didn’t need to use conditioner. This is amazing stuff and, despite my coloured, very dry hair feeling pretty bad before washing, I got none of that stripped out feeling I normally experience using any other shampoo – where you can just feel something like straw as soon as the shampoo has gone on. My hair feels amazingly good, conditioned without using conditioner and just soft, shiny and NOT DRY! I didn’t have the matching conditioner but I will now get some; I will definitely be using this going ahead and, if the conditioner adds even more hydration then it will be a permanent pairing for me. If you suffer with dry hair, you may also find this worth trying.

This 250ml bottle of ‘Nutritive Bain Satin’ shampoo by Krastase is sealed on arrival to prevent any leakages which also proves it hasn’t been tampered with. You will need to remove this by unscrewing the cap first. The twist lid on the bottle isn’t the most intuitive and easiest to handle on the shower and personally I would have preferred a flip open lid for easier dispensing. The shampoo itself is specifically for very dry hair and has a white creamy colour with a gel consistency.
I have long, medium thickness hair which is coloured so can be quite dry particularly in the summer months. This shampoo intensely restores moisture whilst nourishing your hair which in turn strengthens your hair so there is less frizz and split ends. This rich shampoo is packed full of vitamins and formulated with plant-based proteins and niacinamide to really help with the health of your hair as well as just cleanse.
The shampoo has a neutral scent and lathers well and I haven’t had any adverse reactions to the product which I’ve used it a few times now. You don’t need a large amount and the gel consistency is quite thick. It didn’t leave any unwanted residues and I was able style my hair as I normally would without any issues. Priced at 19.80 at the time of reviewing, so isn’t the cheapest of shampoo particularly for a 250ml bottle but I am aware that this is a more premium brand and the shampoo does leave my hair feeling very healthy and soft — I would definitely recommend.
I love it so much. It has agreed with my hair so much that I haven’t found one like this in a while. The texture of the shampoo if kinda creamy but not so think so it’s very nice and once you start washing your hair it gives you a very nice lather. So much that I only needed a little bit to wash my hair and I have long hair. It cleans my scalp well and lathers really well without drying it out. Used with the hair mask my fingers and brush runs smoothly through my hair. My hair felt clean, shiny and soft after using this shampoo I would recommend to anyone with dry hair and those wanting extra nourishment.
This is a great product. I have bleached and heat treated my hair to within an inch of its life, and have a lot of frizz issues. My hair looks like candy floss after it has been dragged through a hedge backwards. Because of this, I spend a lot of money on shampoos and leave in conditioners, but this product knocks them out of the ballpark! Only a small amount is required for a luxurious creamy lather. The smell is slightly medicinal to me, but not strong. I used my usual conditioner and dried my hair. Such a difference! No flyaway locks. It feels great and looks in much better condition. A very strong 5/5.
Krastase Nutritive shampoo is a rich shampoo, a small amount generates a lot of lather and covers a lot of hair. After using it makes my hair feel close to conditioned; its soft and smooth.
The shampoo has worked well on hair still clean after a day in the office hair and post workout in the sun dried out sweat filled hair and it always leaves it feeling soft and clean with a single application. No lather rinse repeat needed here.
I’ve never heard of this brand before, and at the price it’s sold at I was interested to try it out.
It comes with a screw top, which surprised me, underneath is a tamper seal.
My hair is combination with greasy roots and dry ends, I’ve tied just about every shampoo you can buy from the chemists and supermarkets so am overly familiar with your regular brands.
This shampoo is for very dry hair, and I found the consistency to be quite creamy, I have quite long hair, well past my shoulders, so needed about a 50p size amount to really get a nice lather going. It spread easily and thoroughly through my hair and washed out well.
I can’t say I particularly liked the smell, it has a rather ‘chemical’ scent, and reminded me of a medicated shampoo my Mum used to use on me as a child as I did a lot of swimming lessons and always had chlorine in my hair.
I was able to brush my hair easily after a rough dry though, which I can’t do after using some shampoos, so that was a bonus.
After drying, my hair does look quite shiny but I can’t say that it feels any softer than usual, but maybe I need to use it regularly to see better results.
Overall, it’s nice, but I do think it’s very expensive for what it is.

I really love this shampoo, which I have tested without the same brand of conditioner (though I will order some to try with it at some point). It has performed brilliantly on my very dry greying menopausal hair. A small bottle, but a little goes a long way. It lathers well, which I prefer, and even when you rinse it off your hair feels like you have used a conditioner on it rather than just a shampoo. It had worked well with all the varying conditioners I have used with it.
Although I have very dry hair, I have greasy roots, but this hasn’t exacerbated that problem at all. I would definitely recomend giving this ago to see if it works as well for you.
Krastase shampoo arrived well packed and in perfect condition.
I am a big fan of Krastase products and this shampoo did not disappoint. This shampoo is superb. My hair is dry as I use hair straightener twice a week. This Krastase shampoo has done wonders for my hair.
After a few washes, I already noticed the difference. This shampoo washes my hair very gently. It has a rich texture and smells lovely. This shampoo did not irritate my scalp, my hair actually feels soft, moisturised, shining and reduced my ends breakage.
Overall, this is a top quality Krastase shampoo that leaves my hair looking healthier. Definitely deserves 5 stars.

So this is what expensive shampoo is like! It’s amazing, my hair feels super soft and nourished and it’s shiny. Feels incredible. I wouldn’t pay 25 for shampoo it’s out of my price range but I do really love it, a little goes a long way even on long hair. The results feel like you stepped out of the salon!
Kerastase Nutritive Rich Shampoo for Very Dry Hair 250ml
The shampoo is in a plastic bottle with a screw capped lid and also has a tamperproof peel off under the lid.
The shampoo is created for very dry hair and deep cleanses and moisturises.
The shampoo comes out of the bottle easy and is a nice thick consistency which I would expect from a premium shampoo. You only need a very small amount of shampoo for a nice full head of lather, by small amount I mean a small UK 5p pice size and I have below shoulder length hair. You get a lovely foamy lather and massages well into your strands.
The shampoo rinsed very easily even though there was quite a lot of lather, which I like.
After rinsing my hair did not feel very soft and thought it definitely needs a conditioner afterwards but as I am doing a review for the shampoo I decided to miss out this step. I felt that my hair had just had a detox type of shampoo on it, like a shampoo that removes all the hair products residue from your hair. For information purposes I have below shoulder length hair that is very dry, prone to snapping and has lots of frizzy bits sticking out all over where it has snapped.
After washing my hair was a little tangles when using a wide tooth comb but not tangled enough to drag or pull, just tangled so the comb did not glide through with first attempt at combing.
After my hair was dried naturally and not using any heated gadgets I noticed my hair was very soft and the curls were light and bouncy so the shampoo did the job which it claimed to do. Unfortunately for me I had a lot of frizz that needs calming down so maybe I did need conditioner after all or at least some taming product like a serum.
