The doll was amazing and it was perfect for my daughter! The clothes fit her well and everything was fine. When we fed her water from her bottle the glitter in her hair moved and it was so exciting! My daughter loves her and I do recommend it. The only problem was that her colour change didn’t work, there was some black on her when she came out and when we did everything the instructions told us to do, the colour change wasn’t working. But my daughter still loves the doll and doesn’t care about it so much, she only cares that the doll is OK.
Colour change is fantastic! We bought another lol one that didn’t really seem to change but this one is a dramatic change ..she got the panda one (don’t know it’s name).
These dolls are super sweet and super cute. Much like the little sisters they colour change, my three year old loves using them as a bath toy! They come with 6 surprises, and 7 with the doll. The doll is nicely made, good for little hands to manipulate and looks so cute with the glitter hair. It has shoes, an outfit, bottle and a hair piece/face mask. A nice addition to the collection.
My Daughter loves the LOL dolls so we ordered one last week and it arrived, then ordered another this week and it was the same one again that arrived today,
I know its just one of those things but when ordered from the same place it’s frustrating. Anyway now we have twins
LOL surprise is a really popular brand , especially with young girls. My great nieces are all mad on them . These mini sets are really afford at around 10 , they’re collectable and children will enjoy playing with the different varieties of dolls. The packaging is pretty and appealing to look at. The case can be reused for storing the accessories. Children will love this glitter surprise colour changing doll . The good thing with having a lot of girls in the family is that if you duplicate a set you can do a swap for one you haven’t got. Great idea for a stocking filler , you could even hang these on your Christmas tree as a surprise Christmas morning, they’re compact enough. Recommended
Great glitter colour changing LOL doll, my 7y niece is obsessed with these and was very happy with the design of this one. It’s a bit like a kinder surprise but without the chocolate!! She loves to collect them and spends hours dressing and undressing them.
Verdict:
They’re pricey but worth it for the hours of play they bring this price is in line with competitors at 9.99 at time of writing – recommended.
I thought i’d pick this up for my niece as i know she likes watching the show.
It ended up being a massive hit as she absolutely loved it, plus the fact that all the items inside are completely at random made it even more exciting for her when she was opening it up.
There’s 12 doll in total to collect in the set, each having a unique colour change & different accessories which i thought was pretty cool.
It’s currently priced at 9.99 at the time of writing which i feel offers pretty good value for money especially if you could see how excited she was to see what goodies was inside.
It makes a great gift idea but is still cheap enough to use as stocking fillers.
I will be getting her a couple more at Christmas.

For circa 18 I really don’t understand the value of these surprise dolls, they’re heavily plastic, and pocket-sized small but I cannot doubt the. fact that our children are enamoured with them. The characters are kind of odd, with wildly oversized heads. The colour changing feature is an interesting idea, it doesn’t last for long as it only seems to activate at an extreme of temperature but it’s certainly entertaining enough for the children.
This is a great colour change doll. Comes with all the usual bits you expect from a LOL surprise doll. But this one changes colour when put it cold water. My daughter is a big LOL fan so she loved this. Good value for money.
At just under 10 at the time of this review, this would make the perfect gift of off to a birthday party. The 6 year old is absolutely obsessed with LOL dolls and so was very happy to help out with testing this one! Lots of little bits to go along with the doll who also have glitter hair that can change slightly due to temperature of water applied to it. Super presentation too and lots of showing off to her friends!!
This was my first experience of a Glitter Surprise Doll but the ten year old was ecstatic about itappearance into her life.
There is a fair amount of plastic packaging that comes with it and I was asked, by the ten year old, to point this out. I pointed out that most of this was recyclable.
Inside you get a small doll, some accessories and a container to carry her in.
Put the doll in ice cold water and you get a colour change. The colour change fades back to the orignal in time.
So, there are two surprises, the doll you get and what the doll looks like when she has been immersed in icy water. And, you need really icy water.
It did little for me but the ten year old is taking it into school tomorrow.
The LOL Surprise Glitter Colour Change Doll was given to our 5+ year old grand-daughter who has a collection of LOL items. This set was given to her and she was very pleased to receive this. Our grand-daughter has integrated this small LOL doll into playtime with other LOL small type figures. When unpacking I have indicated to my grand-daughter to be careful and appreciation when unpacking as there is usually some thought gone into the process by LOL. Good quality figure and some small items are included with the doll.
Personally I dont see the appeal of these dolls, but my daughter adores them, she has played for hours with them. Theres very few small pieces to lose so we dont have the issues with parts missing like we do with others and they inspire creative play.
The price of this set is as you would expect from this brand of doll, although I personally find them expensive for what you get. Like the rest of the series, the most fun comes from the unpacking, the surprise element of what you get inside.
The pieces are quite small and putting on the outfits can be rather fiddly — even for my grown-up hands — so I would recommend this for 5 years and above. The water element always proves popular with my daughters, who use their collection to create a pool party, and this adds to the excitement as this doll can change colour.
The figure is good quality and brightly coloured, like so many of these other sets. It would make a great gift as LOL remains very popular with so many girls. However, I still think it is overpriced for what it is.

This is so cool. It comes in a cheerful ball with seven surprise accessories located around and in the ball, and the doll is inside. The hair colour changes when you put water through the mouth. And you’ll see the color change from the translucent glittery hair. Put back the stopper to keep the water from leaking. The doll feels rubbery. Recommendable.
My daughter was so excited when she found this in my room.
I was trying to hide it from her and give it to her as a prize for doing good at school but she was so excited about it I let her open it.
She had hours of fun.

The excitement of opening the ball and seeing what is inside is very much the selling point here. My son was very excited to open the ball but quickly lost interest after that. For children who love the LOL dolls and enjoy playing with them, you may get more play for your money.
The doll itself is cute and a typical LOL doll, though the slight colour changing effect is a nice novelty.
My daughter who is 6 absolutely loved opening this and finding out what they mystery toy was! She was even more delighted when she found out it changed with hot and cold water! She loves smaller toys so this was just what she loves playing with!
One of a range of tiny LOL surprise dolls. They come in a lot of different shapes and sizes of containers, this one is in a plastic ball wrapped in a removable plastic outer. The doll is an inch and a half high and comes with five tiny accessories. There are twelve different dolls in the glitter range and a random one is supplied each time. They have glittery hair which changes colour slightly in water. A cute little doll that fits well in a dolls house.
This package in particular is super cute and a firm favourite with my 6 year old.
I love the fact that these balls have the different parts stored in different places so not a case of just opening it and done.
