But he will definitely grow into it as the months go on, it’s incredibly cute and can’t wait for him to wear it.
Lovely, light hat for the sun. My 16 month old wore it all day with no problem. Strings around the chin make it easy to keep on and tighten/ loosen for sizing.
Cute hat, adjustable toggle on the back, light weight and keeps her little face covered in the sun. 1 star less because for some reason the label is on the outside. Thought I had the hat on inside out but turns out I hadn’t.
FIT
The fit seems great with the under the chin straps and the adjustable toggle for around the head so you can make sure it fits snug around the head but is not too tight. If you toddler is like mine he will find a way to take it off no matter what.
FEATURES
Other than the features mentioned above for fitting there is a nice layer between the top of the head and the hat, just enough to give a small buffer so the top of the head won’t get too hot in the direct sunlight. I would have expected this on a more expensive item so I was really pleased to see this.
The neck shade is a must for me as my little boy loves to pay outside and is forever bending over for something or looking down when he is playing in his sand pit etc this full exposes his neck with a normal hat and while sunscreen is fine I am more concerned about the direct heat. So this neck shade gives him excellent coverage when he is outside playing.
I am probably going to buy a couple more of these as this one is now with nursery and I could do with keeping one in various locations so I have one on had should I forget one!
Really brilliant hats! The only thing that my 18month old will keep on (because it actually has a tie!) Why more don’t, I will never understand!
Washes a dream, dries quickly and really covers the head, neck and face well!
I always use suncream anyway but this gives him the added protection I want.
My little boy is still in size small and because of the adjustable toggle at the back, he’s still going to get plenty of wear out of the small.
These hats are FAB there us a drawstring so that you can actually ‘fit’ the sun hat. My twin Grandsons are 5 months so was initially concerned they would be too big but they fit beautifully with this aid with lots of room for this Summer! Covers the neck and ears too.
This hat is perfect for my 2 year old. I couldnt find a hat in a shop as they were either too small or too big. The elastic adjuster on this hat does the job perfectly and means it’ll last longer too. Great value for money!
