I like the size of these – you can use a big container and still see the display. Almost instant to switch on & off. Just be careful – they are glass around the edges and on my previous scales which were similar I clipped the corner and shattered it.
I’ve brought these scales to weigh parcels I send to my daughter in Australia because the parcels can’t weigh more than 2kg , they are very accurate & so easy to use for my parcels & to use in the kitchen as they weigh to the gram .
It’s lightweight, which i really like, but i also like how quick it reacts when i press the switch on/off etc. With the previous one i had, you had to keep your finger on the button for about three seconds, very frustrating. I would recommend this scale.
Weighing ingredients. For some you have to use a bowl and subtract the weight of the bowl.
Only issue is despite the actual numbers being big enough to see can’t see what the measurements are wg gram kg lb etc. A few attempts got me to the right one but given that appear to be for visually impaired as this was what I searched for they aren’t massively accessible. The rare is great so I can weigh the food out in the container.
At last I have a scales that I can actually read. Brilliant, I’m very happy with this product.

Very pleased with this little scale. I didn’t expect a lot for the price but was pleasantly surprised. Easy to clean, easy to use and fairly accurate. I’ve used it every day for the last couple of months and it performs well.
These give a bright and clear reading at the front, powered by batteries that won’t run out every week, and it’s so easy to change the scale, on/off. tare etc. Highly recommended.

I was extremely pleased and impressed with these digital scales. I do a lot of baking and had become quite fed up with trying to find decent, accurate, good quality scales. I would highly recommend these to anyone having the same problems
This was a replacement for our old Salter scales. It’s so much better. It feels more substantial, grips firmly on the work surface, easy to clean and stores better because it’s rectangular, not round as with our old scales. Very pleased with these scales and thoroughly recommended.
Bought these to replace some slimline black Salter scales which, perplexingly for a company in the business so long, had buttons on the top vulnerable to water damage.
These scales are bigger and heavier but that’s no bad thing; they’re long enough so that even a large kitchen bowl doesn’t obscure the screen, which is illuminated so that shadowing isn’t a problem either. There are no open casings/button spaces on the top surface so are truly wipe-clean-safe, and use AAAs which are easier to source and safer than button batteries.
All in all much better designed; hopefully longevity will not be their downfall.
I’ve just shared the link for this scales with my sister’s – 4 of them -because I’m so happy with it! I bought it for the large surface area, and it doesn’t disappoint. It’s perfect for weighing extra big bowls, large pots, loaf tins, etc, etc. Very nice looking, super accurate, and it takes just 2 AAA batteries which suits me much better than those flat disc batteries, which I never seem to have in the house. Highly recommend.
These are good compact size scales on off function can weigh solids and fluids at the touch of a button very accurate and easy to clean with the wipe of a cloth they take two AAA batteries that are included which are a lot easier than the button type batteries that many use and prefer this one as batteries last longer good value nice Digital Scales
