Maybe You Have These Problems?
Q: How far is the laser line projected?
A: Working Distance (Line): horizontal line 33Ft (10m) / vertical line 16.5Ft (5m)
Q: How long does the battery last?
A: Generally according to your using frequency. Continuous power supply can be used for more than 20 hours.
Q: Can the laser be seen in outdoor or bright sunlight?
A: Yes. But work better indoor than outdoor. As the sunlight is the combination of seven-color light, the stronger the sunlight is, the darker the laser would be. If you have to work in the sun, you can use the polarized sunglasses.
Warm Tips
- 1. Don’t look directly at the laser for a long time, it has a stimulating effect.
- 2. Use 2 AA batteries (Included), please pay attention to the polarity when installing.
- 3. If the laser is dark, it may be because the battery is low, you should replace them.

I use this to check the height of my pottery pieces when throwing on the wheel, to get every piece the same height/width. Saves so much time. Defintely needs an adjustable stand though fo reasy set up (bought seperately.
ps also bought one for my Dad
I purchased this to ensure my bathroom tiles where level. It is very easy to use and can be fitted to a tripod for ease. It is very sensitive so if your floor moves a little as my did, the laser will wobble until all movement has stopped.
That said, it’s a great bit of kit for the DIY tool box and will definitely get more use.
All the professional trades out there will say this is rubbish because it not made by ‘high end’ well known brands. Utter rubbish.
Its ability to project both horizontal and vertical points with a 360-degree rotatable laser level is truly impressive. The build quality is good, and it feels sturdy and durable in hand. The accuracy and precision of this tool make it a must-have. The value for the money is excellent (compared to other well known brands) – I’ve found it to be an indispensable addition to my toolkit. Highly recommended
I love this little thing, it comes in a cloth ‘hard’ box and it’s so useful for making sure I put up things that are level. I put up a picture rail with it and it’s perfectly level. You will need a tripod to work with it though, you will need to have a really tall one to work it in a room. I’ll post a picture of the coving and picture rail I put up with it.
It’s also amazing for putting up wall mounts for tv’s it makes it almost perfect, I’d still recommend an tilting wall mount though just to make sure it’s perfect.
This is my first laser level and a really good introduction to this handy DIY tool.
The self-levelling laser is very handy and you can lock it once levelled. It’s single-button operation for turning the laser on and off (long press for 3 seconds). It also switched itself off it was on when self-levelling, then you lock it using the switch. Easy to remedy – just switch it on again!
There is also a threaded hole at the base so you can connect this level to any standard camera-type tripod for ease of use.
My only minor comments are as follows:
The switch for locking the laser once it’s self-levelled is a little stiff, so I have concerns that you can knock it slightly off-level. A smaller switch or some sort of softer latching mechanism would have been a little better perhaps. Just check your level with a spirit level the first couple of times to ensure accuracy.
You also have to have the laser level unit fairly near the surface you want the level line on, to ensure it’s clear enough to use. You also need it placed at a level nearer where you need the line, to ensure the line is true – e.g. you can’t prop it on the floor to then give you a line 2m up a wall.
Bearing all this in mind and the price for the unit, it’s great for everyday household DIY (putting up shelves, measuring levels for picture hanging, etc.) and definitely worth having in your tool case for the price. It even comes with a black protective pouch to keep it safe.

Good accurate laser level. I bought this to mark where the stud was positioned behind the plasterboard before fitting it, so I could put the plasterboard up against the studs and easily drill screws in where the laser line was showing. Only has one mode which projects two lines in a cross, as shown in my pic. The red lines are actually bright and visible in daylight.
Takes a bit of getting used to using it as it has an automatic self levelling mode, and a lockable mode. The lockable mode puts the line out of self level; so to use this mode you’d be better to have it on a tripod so you can angle the laser measure unit so that the line is straight with studs. It has a standard female screw thread on the bottom for tripod mounting. I’m using just a cheap mini tripod that sits on the floor and you can angle then head around to get the locked laser line straight.
Self levelling is awesome, it’s a pendulum inside which swings. So you don’t need to have the laser level unit on a flat surface to get a perfect level line as it’s self levelling. This is great for putting up shelving, be even tiling etc.
Uses 2 x AA batteries, it’s not rechargeable so try to keep a spare set of AA batteries with it. It comes in a nice zip up case to store it.
