Once in place its pretty good, it stops the wind and you can both snuggle back and look out at the stars. The only problem is its a pain to put together, if it could concertina up for storage it would be perfec
Well, due to the rubbish British weather, we have only needed to use this once. However, once it was used it protected the children perfectly from the sun and the neighbours.
Got this cos it’s a rainy summer in Ireland as usual..lol.
Easy to put together and fix to the tub…I only wish it would fold up and down.
A perfect addition to your lazy spa! It is huge! Covers almost half the diameter of our miami. We love it. Gives fair/good privacy in residential areas for those peeping neighbours. Great for rainy days too. We love it!
It’s great for shade in the hot tub does the job well, my only criticism is that once it’s up with all the poles like a tent, you don’t want to take it up and down. You can’t really leave it outside as it clips into where the hot tub cover goes so it takes up a lot of room in the house and is a pain! Would be better if it was pop up like a lot of tents are.
Got this on a good offer at a decent price, we adapted it to fit our index spa and works very well
Brought this a had to swap out gazebo ( collapsed ) and put up a pergola which has no sides , the canopy gives privacy as well as shelter .
Simple to assemble, great all round design. 1 hang up, can’t keep clipped to tub if you want to put lid back on.. Over all more than happy.
Very hard to assemble at first. Once you work it out you are good to go. I put a hole in it by accident but will buy another.
Was not sure about this as looked flimsy but so glad I took the gamble and ordered it. It’s provided great privacy and shelter for
Rain and su
Good product! This is the second one we bought as the old one disintegrated with weather over 2 yrs
Durability good strong in winds good protection and good in sun rain or shine good screen viser locks in to place it works on paris and miami I own paris and my sister got the miami one so all good can be left on with lid as lid will stay in place with out the fastening clips may need a wash on lite wash 30mins or less but fabric is durable no tears yet or blemishes may be when season is over looks good and keeps privacy and uv rays low sun protection easy to connect up 3 poles 1x large and 2x medium the ties are on top when the thing is all put up and then tie in place all good thanks for reading
This one will fit the at Lucia you just need to peg the two front ropes into the ground instead of attaching as meant. Works fine and you can still get the cover on you just have to not use two of the cover clips. Great if you want to save 20
wind break for spa
took half an hour to figure out how to assemble
first try fixed it inside out
second try perfect
no need to dis asemble after use. unfasten clips put top cover of spa on without fastening refit canopy on spa fastening clips this will hold top cover secure
Fitted to my Helsinki Hot Tub like a dream. Keeps the wind off and protected from the sun.
I’ve left mine on for weeks and had no problems with rain and wind.
My only gripe is that you can’t fit the Hot Tub Cover while this is fitted. If you want to fit the cover you have to remove it and try and store it somewhere assembled or disassemble and pack away which is a pain.
Aside from that it’s been a great addition to our privacy when using our Hot Tub.
I highly recommended this canopy.
The description said the canopy fitted all Lay-Z-Spas but it was no designed for the St Lucia. The canopy had 6 fixing points but the tub only had 5. I have managed to secure it but not really for this spa. Having said that it is great and we have sat in the spa on several occasions and not been affected by the weather.
Good buy.
This is my second canopy. First one lasted a year which was kept outdoor on the hot tub all year and was fragile and ripped after that many months outdoor. does keep the water warmer for longer.
I have recently purchased this product and I was so excited as I am new to the hot tub scene. I have a round CleverSpa and after assembling the canopy (be patient as the rods fit very snuggly) it looked amazing. Definitely looks the part. Until I put it in place (fantastic, plenty of coverage for shade and privacy) the clips don’t fit. I am gutted, lazy spa and CleverSpa clips don’t go together. I am so pleased with the item though, I am in the process of trying to get some CleverSpa clips to swap the ones on the canopy.
Having purchased this for palm springs tub, on putting together, I found very tight, especially the two short poles, once in place, the two short poles snapped near the joints, so not happy with the poles, but the canopy is ok and gives that privacy, but the two short poles need to be a little shorter to ease putting together.
Seen a few mixed reviews on this.
For me it does the job. Yes poles are thin but take your time, give them a clean up and store when finished and it should last. Does stop wind spoiling the hot tub time but don’t think it would stand a strong wind, but would you go into the hot tub if the winds were that strong I wonder!
I was a little sceptical after reading the reviews but took the plunge as I didn’t want to go full gazebo. It’s a little fiddly to put together but with 2 people it’s easier and took 10 minutes. Don’t be heavy handed though, I doubt it’d take much to damage it during assembly. Once assembled, it’s easy to fit to the tub, looks good and on a windy day it didn’t flinch. It adds a touch of privacy and protection from the elements and overall I’m happy with it.
If you have a place to store it I’d suggest leaving it assembled but it’s not small so you’re limited.
