I got this as my emergency lil’tablet because the camera stopped working on my Amazon fire tablet and I’m an artist so I have to take pictures. Altho it’s a solid little tablet the camera doesn’t have macro, it can’t take pictures of close up things like normal lenovo tablets can. It’s like a less powerful camera. But it saved me and I’m taking pictures again.
I bought this for private aircraft navigation using SkyDemon and discovered the screen isn’t bright enough in sunlight (to find out a screen’s brightness check its “nits”). So I use it as back up at home & for reading / listening to books, for which purpose it’s remarkably good considering its cost. Also it’s a useful size – mid way between a max smartphone and a mini IPad.
My daughter was fed up of not being able to get her favourite apps on her fire tablet so I was looking for a cheapish android tablet for her and found this one. It’s really good value for money and I’m planning on purchasing this again for my son on his birthday
We have OTG, CASTING, GOOGLE ASSISTANT and excellent INTERNET and BLUETOOTH connections.
We add an SD CARD to share storage and use a USB THUMB DRIVE to store photos, music and films rather than add these to internal storage.
Some negatives: poor camera? Use the translate function for languages and bar codes.
Poor sound? use ear buds or a Bluetooth speaker.
We can connect to our PC..and use Google Drive for 15GB of free storage.
Check out DUO for video calls and ENTERTAINMENT SPACE APP built-in to look through material available on TV apps and prepaid offerings like Netflix etc.
This is a very good inexpensive piece of ki
Fantastic product 32gb storage with space for SD card real GPS finds satellites with no problem and good accuracy.
No large bezel like some other 7 inch tablets makes this tablet truly pocket size keeping the same size of screen.
Android 11 go is designed for tablets and is a lot quicker than my old major brand tablet. Received Android system update today ( my old tablet never got an android update once).
I have not found any app that will not run on this and it plays videos smoothly with the VLC app and sound quality is good (remember to switch on Dolby sound) , oh and no bloat-ware or advertising.
Bought one of these for the wife, liked it so much bought one for myself.
I highly recommend this tablet to anyone that wants a 7 inch tablet.
Would certainly buy again without hesitation.
I was looking for a small tablet to carry around. I needed something not to expensive, practical and robust. The Lenovo fits all my requirements. I have had it for sometime and I am happy with my purchase. Writing, browsing or watching tv on the move is not a problem and don’t have keep on straining my eyes on a small screen. This is just perfect for my needs.
Kids love it. Can do all the things they love from tiktok,WhatsApp to YouTube and gaming and much more. Perfect for my teenage girls. Love it we’ll worth the money.
Out of stock but in and delivered earlier than expected. Bought as a Christmas present so my ‘phone isn’t constantly taken for partner’s limited social media use. Doing the job for which it was bought. Excellent device, so far with daily use battery is lasting several days. Screen quality excellent and very good for ‘touch’. Not tried video, audio or camera as yet. Android easy to use on the slightly larger screen than the ‘phone and latest version, clean instal with no bloatware.
Purchased for my 10-year-old, who had been running an Amazon Fire ‘Kids’ tablet for 3 years. The greatest ‘pro’ of the Amazon variant is the 2-year replacement policy ‘whatever happens’.
This is a basic tablet, you don’t expect much for the price, however, it does perform adequately for the apps and games my 10 year old wants to play. It also has a great battery life, in excess of 8 hours.
The massive advantage it has over an Amazon Fire is full access to the Google Play store, and not tied to Amazon’s own store offering (I am aware it is technically possible to get Google Play store knife and forked on, but it isn’t seamless).
Given you setup a Google account correctly for your child, you can setup the tablet for them, with their account, and during the setup process it will ask for the parents credentials. This process then seamlessly installs ‘Family Link’ on the tablet, which offers me parental controls from my phone, or online.
I can monitor and restrict apps in use, restrict total hours of use per day and set bedtimes. Further to this I can restrict specific Chrome and YouTube usage. The parental controls offered natively by Google are more than sufficient.
Bottom line, the 10-year-old is happy, he can install and play with everything he wants to, and I’m happy knowing he can’t install or view things I don’t want him to!
I ordered this tablet on Black Friday after hearing only hearing positive things about the brand Lenovo. Safe to say that I wasn’t disappointed!!
This tablet does exactly what it says on the tin. I’ve had no issues with using this product, and long may that continue. Highly recommended!!
Use this as an extra screen when working from home. I use this for Android apps that I use my phone that need a bigger screen. Plugged in all the time when working. Battery, battery runs at 40-60% . Sound on speaker could be louder on teams calls . But the sound for for streamingvideo is fine
This is not as advertised! It is NOT and Android 11 tablet! It is an Android 11 (GO edition) tablet which does limit what you can install and run, to some degree, but I have to say that I have not found this to be limiting for what I need and, as a replacement for my Android 6 tablet, it is a vast improvement, especially considering that you can expand the internal storage with a microSD card which has put it streets-ahead of what I was used to.
It is also speedy and the screen resolution is great! I hope it lasts as long as my old tablet has. I’m just concerned about whether, being the limited OS edition, it will upgrade to 12, whenever that may be available?
I originally bought this for two reasons, one it was a black Friday deal so it was 59.99 and also I needed a tablet for my commute. Normally I have work emails to go through and also related project updates. I found a laptop to unwieldy for the bus and the smart phone screen too small.
The usable screen size is larger than I thought and yet to my surprise and pleasure its actually small enough to fit in all my jacket pockets, superb.
The screen resolution isn’t much to shout home about and it is quite laggy, but for the price and its intended mission its more than adequate. I don’t think it would win any honours as a gaming machine on account of its chipset.
However, from merely being used for email its usage has expanded to movie watching and spotify. In addition, it has now replaced the phone for in car sat nav duties, with the phone relegated to providing the WIFI hot spot.
I used to use the phone to cast my presentations, but because the tablet is small enough, to hold and large enough to read it allows me to flow easier through my presentations, and so I use it over the phone for all my power point presentations
Unlike a lot of “budget” tablets this comes with Android 11 and so the multi-tasking tiles make it easy to hop between tasks.
Battery life is more than adequate as I charge it up once a day and so I don’t have any “lack of power” anxieties.
In summary the utilisation of this device has exceeded the original remit and the latest “new” task is I now use it to show my recent phone photos. Once again the phone being relegated to hotspot duties. So for its price it does all what’s on the tin and then some.
Bought this model so i could put in my inside pocket and take it with me, I’ve had Lenovo before+their good, very clear, quick, robust, last 7″ i had was Samsung tab3, rubbish, I’ll stick with Lenovo.
I read reviews of this tablet and they basically said its only quality was that it was cheap. It depends on what you want to use it for, of course; I want to read the newspaper, do the crossword, browse the web, listen to Spotify, collect my email. I don’t play games on it (and haven’t tried streaming a movie).
I previously had an Acer 7″ tablet and really love the format.
This tablet is perfect for my use, and the best thing is the battery life. I use it a couple of hours every day and a charge probably lasts a week. It is thin, light, the metal case feels like real quality, and the screen is really good. I have a Lenovo laptop, a Lenovo ‘large’ tablet, and now this 7″ – and all items are just superb.
